Stopped in for the first time today for lunch. Wife & I were in the area and ratings looked good so we gave it a try. The building was clean and service was good. We got a lunch portion of the shrimp boil and some fried fish. The boil was excellent with plenty of shrimp (1/2# was roughly 9) a couple of potatoes and a small ear of corn. We picked the mild sauce which was spicy enough and quite good. The fish, however, was a little disappointing - not bad, just nothing special. We added cole slaw which was tasty. I asked the employees at the hotel I was staying in (Uptown Suites) where was a good place that had good seafood and they recommended this place. Less than 10 minutes away we went. The food, the ambiance, staff, and not to forget the bartender was absolutely wonderful!. The atmosphere was fun and inviting, good place to also bring the kids. Literally while visiting this area i ate here probably 4 times a week. A pure shame i know lol. But it was super awesome. I am definitely a crab and lobster fan so my likings may be bias. I was able to order online and over phone for pick ups. During covid I have opted to to takeout only instead of dining in. The menu is easily accessible online for pricing and specials. I always opt for the 1 1/2 lbs of crab legs. This place offers several seafood options such as lobster shrimp, crabs. Chicken wings, fries, ans other appetizers to choose from. The options of flavorings are a geeat combination I always choose the Mr and Mr Crab sauce which consist od cajun, lemon pepper, and something else i keep forgetting lol but is absolutely delicious. The seafood boils here are very cajun and authentic. Just the right spices which combines just right. The boils include corn, potatoes, and sausage. These items can be substituted for another if you do not like them. This location is always but whether a week day or weekend so I would recommend calling ahead. I have no ideal where to start. This is by far the easiest fire star review I have ever given. The staff totally rocked. I pulled in and parked and two employees were outside to greet me with a very warm welcome. I said I'm hungry they replied we can take care of that. Trey the one that met me outside helped me get seated at the bar. Where I proceeded to try and order everything on the menu. I started off with the extra hot oysters on the half shell they were amazing I never met a flavor like that before. I proceeded with a pound of extra hot crawfish and corn it was delicious. It had a good amount of heat. My crab legs were just a little too salty for me. I prefer the plain flavor of the crab legs so next time I'll just order lobster and shrimp and maybe some scallops! Yes, I will return for a next time Lol! The food was delicious. The corn was just sweet enough and the potatoes were good! They helped balance the salt for me. Arrived at 655 thinking 30 min is reasonable. Line is around the parking lot. This place has a menu almost completely identical to Crafty Crab so I ordered exactly what would have over there to compare. Blue crab, boom sauce, medium spicy with a side of onion rings to go. I asked another patron how she liked the food here and she said it was much better than Crafty Crab. My order was ready in 15 min. Got it home and began feasting. Taste wise, that lady was wrong. No, it is not better than Crafty Crab. I found the food to be a bit bland. Very disappointing for s cajun meal. I love the onion rings st Crafty Crab, not so much at this place. I got my hopes up that I wouldn't have to fight traffic on 60 to get to my fave seafood place, but this meal was such a letdown than I was at Crafty Crab for lunch the very next day. It's not bad if you have nothing to compare it to, but it's just not for me. Service gets it 4 stars, food gets subtracted 1 star. read more

I usually get the shrimp boil and boy have these prices gone up! But the taste is always great. On my last visit my potato was tiny and I asked for an additional one. The waiter came back with a bigger one and insisted he had to take the smaller one back to the kitchen. Smh However, the staff is always friendly and the music is always blasting just a bit too loud. But our server Paige was friendly, professional and as prompt as she could be given the circumstances. Just like our first visit, the food was incredible. I don't want the whole community knowing the secret ) when asked about the promotion they usually do I was told everyone in our party was suppose to participate. I felt this was odd given the fact that it was me my wife my three kids and my daughters friend. Me and my wife I could understand it, but having my children (13, 10, 10, 12 yrs of age) do it as well. Fishy (no pun intended. Now our bill was pretty big I could only assume it's because they wanted every penny from that bill. Which is understandable I get it. But to me that's a little excessive. Usually every visit Ive have the manager come by and introduce themselves and check on every customer. I always thought it was cool how they showed customer appreciation. Yesterday was my 2nd time at this location. We had a group of 7 for lunch. I love their medium Cajun peel and eat shrimp. The food was great and ok on the service. We had to request bibs and gloves since they weren't offered but noticed other tables had them. Everyone's food came out at the same time and was cooked perfectly! The server should always bring a cracker to the table when someone gets crab legs for the claw portion. I'd definitely go back. Only thing I didn't like was the loud blaring music. We couldn't even hear each other and had to ask it to be turned down, this was also an issue on my first visit here.
