    Massive Onion Rings

Kind of a dive sports bar with good food and service. Ambiance - dive sports bar very casual dining. They had no issue with our little dog coming in and even offered her some water. Very nice! Food - I had the pork tenderloin sandwich with fries. I am from the Midwest and know a good pork sandwich and this one did not disappoint. The fries we also very good. My husband had the cordon blue which he said was not very good. This is where the 1 star was lost. He also ordered the onion rings which were a homemade home run!!! They were the largest rings I have ever had and were amazing! The sauce served with them took the over the top! Service - was efficient and friendly! We will go back when in the area!

This place is behind the car lot and Thortons on Brandon Blvd. My first impression was it was it needed some work on the exterior and as we walked in definitely the interior as well but that didn't stop us from trying some food items they offered. Only one server was working at the time and also running the bar but she was getting the job done. We ordered some mozzarella sticks and for mains a burger medium rare and a chicken quesadilla. The mozzarella were out pretty quickly and we're really good they had a seasoning blend on the bread in that taste great. For the main food we waited almost 20min but it showed up and from the looks it looked good I enjoyed my quesadilla very much but the burger was very well done no red in site but the flavor was okay.

Years ago I stumbled upon this place and was able to check it out again. You'll find this little gem tucked away on the corner or 60 and Lithia. It's very unassuming in appearance and looks like a house. The food and service was great. Your typical bar food is available but there are various sandwich, wings, and dinner entree items available. The Mac n cheese bits were ok, nothing I got too excited about but tasted good. The side salad tasted fresh, and the ranch dressing was great, tasted homemade. They are known for having great seafood, so I opted for coconut shrimp, but got the appetizer vs the dinner (6 shrimp vs 8) and just added a side. About the same amount of food, but a little cheaper option. And the loaded mashed potatoes are LOADED! It was fantastic! I'll definitely be back when I'm on that side of town!

Went here with a group of friends. Overall most enjoyed the experience, the drinks and the food. Surprised at the pure variety of foods they offer for a bar. And the preparation was above average. My ceasar wrap was pretty good with just enough chicken and the other items in it were well balanced. The regular fries were a bit salty (a comment by others too). There were excellent votes for the tot option and the sweet potato fries were perfect in my opinion with another saying they were a bit salty. Ambience is good...can get a tiny bit loud depending on where you are sitting...they had a live singer who was entertaining and by 9:30 pm many of the tables were full on a Friday night so the vibe is good. Also a good mix of ages were present. Prices were what you would expect for a bar/grill. Most plates, which include a potato option, were between $11 and $13. No drink menu was available but they have a bunch on tap, wine and had my Angry Orchard in bottles. Plenty of parking in the lot to the left of the building.

Perfect local sports bar & food. Not TOO many loud TVs or gimmicky stuff all over the walls and excellent food! Prices are overly reasonable. The place is always tidy and restrooms are clean. The servers have been friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the Grouper Sandwich and Wings. I really haven't had a bad meal yet! Come support this fantastic place, it's been here for quite some time!

THIS PLACE IS EXTRAORDINARY!!! The food, the music, the magic of Keith's oaks bar and grill is awesome. Everything was perfect! Our waiter, Kylie, was kind, patient, and very friendly. Bro, make sure you ask for her. You won't regret it. No cap. The food was very yummy and worth every. Single. Bite. I recommended this fine establishment to any person!

Nancy K was our server and she is not only fabulous in personality, she knew her menu. All of her recs were great and she showed genuine care for us. What's also great about this place is still being able to find reasonably priced food when dining out! A family of 3 adults and child, we had apps and each an entree and our meal still came up to $78 prior to tip. The food was also delicious. I had the gumbo on my most recent visit as well as the onion rings. The gumbo was just what I needed. The onion rings are hugeeee, a bit oily but light so I didn't completely feel like an impending heart attack. Would recommend the restaurant and Nancy K.

When we showed up and told the hostess we had a reservation, we were promptly taken to our table. However about halfway into the meal, I received an email stating my reservation was cancelled. I visited the host stand concerned we were not checked in correctly and that I would be charged $30 per person as a no-show. She revisited the reservation on their books and confirmed I was not checked in right and fixed it. Hopefully, I will not be charged. The meal was good, however it should be communicated when making a reservation that the full menu is not available. This was not communicated anywhere actually - not reservation, front desk or even upon sitting down at your table. It wasn't until I asked our server about the missing menu items that she said it was a limited menu that day. When I asked if any exception could be made, she said no. This was disappointing considering the items my husband was looking forward to were not available.

(I am missing the items we ordered, so I'll have to come back here and add them later, but all that matters is four people had completely different entrées, and we were all very pleased.) How pleased were we? So pleased that, a mere 7 days later, we're about to drive 1.25 hours to have another meal there, this time with our extended family of 14. The host greeted this warmly and had us promptly seated. Our server, Danielle, was magnificent! She attended to us very well providing excellent recommendations. I also want to give a shout out to the fellow who came and prepared my pasta carbonara tableside. (Alas, I will have to come back and put his name in because I don't have it handy at the moment.)

It's not really Italian, could offer more dishes that is considered Mediterranean, pasta specials of the day could be a consideration, something different that other local Italian restaurants don't offer, otherwise, they are just like the others. We had the chicken parmesan with spaghetti, terrible. It's a large piece of chicken, should have been pounded thinner, too thick, loaded with too much sauce on breaded chicken, which makes it soft because of too much sauce, then loaded with cheese that wasn't put under the broiler, just soft and mushy. Side spaghetti was over cooked and loaded again with too much sauce, the entire dish was drowning in sauce which is just okay. Our friends ordered spaghetti & meatballs, the meatballs was garlicky and the dish loaded with too much sauce on overcooked spaghetti. Several of their dishes are made with same stuffing from stuffed mushrooms, stuffed flounder, stuffed shrimp making it easy for the kitchen but a boring menu being the food all tasting the same. Service is great and attentive even with change of staff since the restaurant changed. My suggestion is, please stop overloading sauce, don't drown the spaghetti and cut back on garlic in meatballs, don't overcook the pasta, and offer a pasta of the week, supposably they make their own, let's see something that can't be bought from a store. The owner needs to pay attention to their change of business, if you are presenting it to be Italian, then offer dishes that can be found as other restaurants, you've just become a cliche, why bother! We wish only the best for this establishment, being family owned, you've worked hard to still be around after so many years, don't let us down now.
