I've passed this market dozens of times, it's time to finally go inside and take a look!…read more It's a Western European/Russian import market! Such an interesting spot! They have a huge selection of foods and goods! The meats and produce looked so much fresher and well kept than large chain markets! I bought some produce, some interesting canned goods and some sugar free chocolate orange cookies! The cookies are a little dry, but nice for sugar free! I can definitely see coming back here. They have a good variety of pickled vegetables too! I got some canned stuffed tomatoes that were pretty nice!

It was just great to see her smiling and enjoying her talk about all of the foods she grew up eating. All the foods she ate were all right here in this supermarket. And she told me how they were eaten and which foods to buy. We spent a couple of hours here filling up our shopping carts. And we even got some snacks to munch on in the car. I don't remember the names of the foods we bought but I must mention that the pastries were very tasty. There is a little bakery inside the market with layered sheet cakes and pastries that are a must try. We grabbed few pastries--- each one with different ingredients. The cabbage one was my favorite. You can eat it hot or cold. We also grabbed a few cheesecake like snacks and those were pretty tasty as well. If you're not familiar with Eastern European food, I recommend going with someone from there to help guide you in what to get. I promise you'll be in for a real treat!

I've had many lobster tails trying to find a good one and finally found one. I have been to the cake boss in New York and also in Italy and thank you so much for making them so tender and delicious.

Within 20 minutes of being there, we walked out with Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, chimichurri, and a stuffed pork chop. The Swedish meatballs are AMAZING. We just heated them up in the microwave but they were the most moist and well-seasoned Swedish meatballs/sauce that we've ever had. Blows IKEA meatballs out of the water. Mashed potatoes were super velvety and perfect with the meatballs. Chimichurri sauce is perfectly seasoned. We're trying the pork chop and brussel sprouts tonight but based off everything else, I'm sure it will be delicious. All the workers were super nice and helpful for a couple of newcomers to the store. I never expected such a gem of a hidden little meat market in Longwood. We're definitely coming back. Prices are very good for quality and ready-to-eat ease as well.
