Mr Appliance charged me $400 to fix the water valve on my Bosch refrigerator. Two days later, the water dispenser stopped working again. Two days after that the fridge itself stopped cooling. I am not saying that they broke the fridge. It could be a coincidence. However, the $400 repair to the water valve certainly did not work. They said they could come out to take another look at the water valve and also look at the cooling, but they'd have to charge me another $139 service fee for the cooling. Why would I want to pay a company that couldn't repair a water valve to repair the cooling? Plus, I need to get a new fridge right away. I can't wait a week for them to come back and maybe fix it. So as a result of working with Mr Appliance, I am out $400 for a faulty repair, $3300 for a new fridge, and at least $200 in spoiled food. I called them and explained all of this. The person who answered the phone said a manager would get back to me, but they never did. read more

3 months ago they came and 'fixed'/replaced the heating element in our dryer. The warranty with them is apparently only 90 days. 3 months later we have run into the same problem. They didn't offer anything to deal with the issue. We would just pay again for the same fix, they didn't care. Their 'fix' went barely outside of the warranty period and dropped off. I don't understand how anyone can see this as anything but a scam. read more

Horrible customer service. I booked on a Wed PM for an afternoon appointment on the following Friday for an emergency repair. The next morning (Thursday) they called to confirm and I called back with the model and serial numbers. She said I would get a text Friday AM with the 2-hour window they would come Friday afternoon. Instead, at the last minute they changed it to 8-10 AM on Friday. That was not the agreement and was not acceptable as I could not make that time work. It's also not the time I booked. They changed the time due to their scheduling and routing and not what the customer booked. I had to cancel. This is a horrible business "practice". To change a client booking time (from their own website) because they can't get their routes right. DO NOT USE unless you have unlimited flexibility and no urgency. read more

Incredibly disapointed with the customer service. This is the first time i've ever left a yelp review - just was so frustrated with their customer service. Our freezer broker and the part needed was on back order. Here was the exchange: Me: Could I please get a "status" on the back ordered piece needed to fix our freezer? Service rep: "I don't know - I'm not the supplier. The supplier doesn't make the product. They are just the supplier." Me: "Well, can you ask the supplier when they think it will be back in stock." Service Rep: "No, i can't. they are just the supplier - they don't make the product." Me: "Well, can't you ask the supplier to ask the manufacturer the status?" Service rep: Hangs up on me. Had a very noisy dryer for a couple months . I was able to get an appointment within a few days. They were excellent at communicating via email and text sent a picture of the service provider and let me know what to expect up front. Jacob was timely, professional and efficient. He gave me some care pointers, things to look out for and just general FYI's. He was done in about 30 minutes with replacing my roller assembly and damaged pulley assembly and now I think my dryer is quieter than when I purchased it! Oddly, my dryer door cover flew off while the washer below was in spin cycle. Crazy. I was connected with Mr. Appliance through the manufacturer warranty department. Mr. A quickly set up an appointment and David arrived with his own shoe booties. Nice. He assessed the situation, ordered me a new cover and less than a week later I was calling for an insulation date. The whole process was painless and pleasant. I'll be keeping Mr. A's card on hand should I need assistance in the future for when things go wrong, or for preventative services. read more
