Instead, the tech went to Home Depot on his own, bought a cap, put it on the end of a tube as a temporary "fix," and charged me $200 for it. I was never consulted or given N estimate. When I pushed back, they claimed it was "urgent," but it wasn't -- it was a slow trickle leak that had been going on for days and was being managed just fine in the meantime. I refused to pay for a fix and came back out and removed the cap. My tenant then did the exact same fix himself for a couple bucks in a couple of minutes. Then they quoted me $450 to actually fix the problem. I bought the part myself, and my tenant -- with zero appliance repair experience -- looked up a how-to video and installed it in under 20 minutes. On top of all that, I was charged $85 for a "diagnostic" before they gave me the diagnostic. I had to ask for them to tell me the part that was bad.

We called the recommended repair companies and was told an outrageous price for the repair. We where torn between a new refrig or get it repaired. I have used them once before and they did a great job, I called them explained the issue, not only did Skip explain the possible issues but he came out and did a diag and found a different problem. He was very forth coming with the price and what the issue was. He also let me use his personal cooler to store, my frozen goods. Would i recommend them OHH YES, will we use them again.. MOST DEFINITELY. If you need repair they WON'T do you wrong.
