I have been here twice now for oil changes and had great experiences both times. Not only was the price inexpensive (especially with the discounts they have available on their website) but they were also professional, friendly, and accommodating at each visit. They pointed out issues that might come up with my car in the future and actually showed me, under the hood, where problem areas were and signs that there was an issue. In one case, they even explained that it wasn't worth it to fix the problem (as it was a small issue) and recommended against me spending money - something very rare for a mechanic! One of the times I came in with an appointment (which I easily got at whatever time I wanted) and the other, I just came in. I brought in a used Lexus I was looking at buying for a detailed prepurchase inspection. The inspection was supposed to be done in about an hour and took about one and a half. I wasn't thrilled about that, but the inspection was very thorough and everything that they saw was explained in detail to me. The price was competitive, at $75 (on my receipt it said I had been given a $10 discount, so I don't know if they charge $85 normally). I would appreciate being given a more accurate time frame, but overall I was very happy. I would give 4.5 stars given the option. read more

I have a 1999 Ford Expedition and called to ask if MR Auto SD could fix my rear turn signal light. I called MR Auto SD because the Yelp reviews were so outstanding. I was NOT disappointed! Phil was extremely courteous and professional. I asked if he could also take a look at my liftgate cable assembly. I had removed the cable from the latch assembly to remove the broken plastic cable ends and replace the broken cable ends with metal ends I purchased from SJX Motorsport. Easy enough to remove, but not re-install. Phil knew exactly what I was talking about after numerous mechanics at dealerships were stumped. Phil re-installed my cable assembly at a VERY REASONABLE PRICE, less than half what I was quoted by dealerships to even attempt to fix the liftgate. I highly recommend MR Auto SD for anyone looking for a KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL auto repair company with very reasonable prices and EXPERT MECHANICS. read more

Vu and his team at MR Master pop the cap on the bell curve. Nine stars out of 5. I have been living anorexically due to career displacement. So now I own a beautiful vehicle without the means to preserve it. I improvise to avoid the cost of repairs but without an alternator the car won't go. Mechanics are notorious for having the ability to rip off the layman if they so choose. These reviews are my first line of defense and the screening phone call is my second. I found the VW expertise I needed with out the snow. Further, they remedied a list of neglect in the cabin and changed my pricey synthetic oil for the price of the original estimate that was based on the alternator alone. My car is my car again! I am so happy to have found this place! I've taken my car here two times now for some minor things, but none the less I have received excellent service each time. They are friendly, polite and intelligent. I can't remember the guys name who helped me the last time I went, but he knew everything about my car. I wish I would have know him last year when I had my timing belt snap on the side of the freeway, bend all my pistons along with some other things. I spent A LOT OF MONEY at some other mechanic who took forever and kept my car for almost two months. MR Master Mechanics could have done the job at half the cost and most likely faster as well. They made the extra effort to take care of a smog check and held the car for me until I was able to pick it up since I was out of town. I decided to stop going to my old auto repair shop, and I went to Yelp for my new option. I'm​ really glad I tried this place. I'm not a car expert, so I don't always know if I'm getting the right service. The man at the reception desk helped me figure out the confusion between what my past auto shop was doing and what is recommended. He explains how car works in calm voice (not too fast, not too loud), not at all condescending to a person that just pulls information off the internet (me), and I felt very comfortable getting explanation from him. From my opinion, MR is the best place you can go out there. Following the A/C system, Vu checked my AC system and helped me solved the computer glitch without any charge. I came back the 2nd time for my broken left rear view mirror and Vu fixed it for me at a unbelievable good price. These guys are great! I drove in with a noisy front wheel and had just stepped into the front office when I was greeted by Vu. Right away he said they would look at it and drove it into the garage. A few seconds later I could hear the guys working on figuring out what was wrong with it. After a few minutes, he called me into the garage and showed me what the problem was. He started by asking if I had recently done work on it or if I had hit something and proceeded to explain that the noise was coming from a plate scraping the rotor. I told him I had had work done on it recently and he recommended I return to that place to get my money back. I really appreciated the recommedation. He could have easily fixed the problem and I would be no wiser as to the cause, but he took the time to explain what was causing the noise. Then they promptly fixed the problem. I was out of there in less than 30 minutes. Vu and his team immediately provide a welcoming environment, explain the problem by showing you, and exude trustworthiness.
