SERVICE!
Shelley H.

Service!!! Thanks to my fellow Yelpers, based on THEIR reviews, I took my old dusty Mongoose to David's for a tuneup. I am sooooo glad I walked my bike all the way past the other shop on Edgewater and over to David's! The folks here are low key, easy going and they know bikes!! I don't need a lot of glitz and glam, I just need my bike to be in top condition. It's truly a service-oriented business. YES, they have a GREAT inventory off bikes, including ELECTRIC ones you can test drive!! I asked about an upright recumbent, but they don't stock those. They did have several of the ground level models that looked very enticing and when I am ready to get one, David's is the place to go. They also have a good assortment of bike accessories and they post their service price options right on the wall so you get no $$$ surprises when your bike is ready to roll! They told me they were backed up, but my bike should be ready in a week and they called me just three days later to say it was good to go. I checked out and they made sure the seat was perfectly adjusted before I pedaled cheerily into the sunset in charming College Park.

Huge selection - 2 huge rooms full of bikes.

Huge selection of bikes and accessories, excellent customer service and conveniently located with easy parking. From the second I walked in until the second I left, I knew I could count on this team for all my family's biking needs. Bought a 24-inch Trek for my son and an accessory which they installed without asking. I asked if they had any discounts or specials and they asked me if I had a trade. I actually did and they offered me triple the amount for my trade that the Clermont Trek store offered me despite me having purchased the bike I was trading from the Clermont Trek store originally. If you're in the market for a new bike, do yourself a favor and come the Trek Store of College Park.

We've been to 2 other locations and this one is our favorite. Mainly because of the service. Everyone here is kind and helpful. We came a couple weeks ago. They are only allowing 2 pairs of customers at a time. A large space, but It is easy to find things. Almost a year ago now, I bought my Trek road bike. More recently, my helmet (shown in picture). They are both very comfortable.

Glad we got our Treks from them! Their employees are friendly, helpful & knowledgable.

Best service ever. What started out as email inquiries with Brett at one location, columnated in being referred to Darrell at the College Park location and the purchase of an amazing Trek Bike. The service, communication, personable touch, and relaxed atmosphere is Disney quality, yes Im a CM so i appreciate it. Thanks to everyone !

After careful research chose to visit this shop for a fitness hybrid bike. I enjoy riding, but not yet on the level of cycling with a road bike. The shop is adhering to social distancing and allows only 4 customers in at a time. Be careful of times you decide to visit you may be waiting outside of up to 30min... but once you get inside they have a great selection of Trek bikes from fitness to Off-road, to cycling attire and accessories. The guys are super nice and will answer your questions to inform you of the best selection for your style of riding. Hope this review helps, happy riding:) I purchased a FX 1 Disc (color volt). The price of this bike was $550.

Large Red Marlin 5. Love this bike and everyone here.

I love this place and I love how nice everyone who works here is! I have been looking for a Bike for the past few months. I live in College Park and have been to the Bike Shop over in at the Lake Ivanhoe area. They weren't very friendly there. I had also gone over to the other shop on Edgewater with the "Orange" and while that place was friendly, everyone seemed so busy that no one really took the time to ask me if I needed or was looking for something. I stopped in on a whim on Saturday 10/2 and met Darrell. He greeted me right away and asked me if I was looking for something in particular. I explained to him what I was looking for in a bike and took me over to look at a few bikes. He took the time to pull a few bikes out of the wall and have me sit on a few. He even took them outside for a test drive. No one at any shop had even asked me half of what he did. Not only did he do it, he took the time to recommend a few bikes and take them out for a ride. A the end i ended up taking a Marlin 5 in red that he had one of the techs adjust for me. That was it. I knew I had found what I wanted and it fit like a glove! I don't know why the other places never bothered to ask me anything and one place just had grouchy people. David's not only made a sale, I have already told many people about my experience. If you are reading this review, go see Darrell and tell him that the guy who bought the Red Trek Marlin wrote this review about him, the shop and sent you!

A good place to get your bicycle! They seem to be attentive to detail and will install your accessories for you on the spot.

The bike came with a spare tube and tool kit with two water bottle cages on the bike frame. The bike shop location is great, just a couple miles east of downtown via E Robinson Street through the Milk District. I biked through Winter Park to Park Lake/Highland, and then downtown before returning to the shop 5 hours later. I'll note that practically every lake in Orlando (which are every few blocks in this city) has a city park around it with a water station. My water bottle never went empty. Many parks have exercise stations where you can mix in some other exercises with your bike ride. Bluejacket Park in particular has a station with extensive exercise equipment in good condition. Lynx bus route 51 runs between the Lynx Central Station downtown and the Orlando International Airport (MCO) and drives right in front of KBS with a stop across the street. I used this bus route to arrive at KBS from downtown and then caught the bus to MCO after returning my rental bicycle. A short walk north on Primrose Road is the Colonial Plaza Super Stop where Lynx routes 6, 13, 104, and 51 connect. Lynx routes 28 and 29 drive by just half a block north along Colonial Drive. In hindsight, I wish I had stopped by KBS to pick up my rental bicycle on my arrival date and taken it to my hotel for my entire trip instead of just my last day. KBS' staff was friendly and the bicycle worked without a single issue. I would book with KBS again and I highly recommend them. Thank you so much for your part of my unforgettable day visiting old memories in Baldwin Park, Bluejacket Park, and downtown Orlando.

What is this and how does it work you ask? The what - There are various Bike Sharing stations in Orlando, you can find out exactly where when you download the app by typing in "Social bicycles" Once you find out where the nearest bike station is at, you're one step closer to renting out a bike. The how - Everything is done through the app. You create an account that will ask for your information, and monetary means, and you'll be given codes to type onto the keypad located on the bike. It took literally only about 6 minutes to get underway on our bikes. There are several account types to choose from and it ranges from one time use, to monthly. I personally thought the bikes were in great condition, and its such a fun way to spend time with friends and really see Orlando in a different, and healthier way. You can bet I'm definitely using bike share again in the future!
