I was craving a burger! One with a fried egg on top (my fav!) Not many places carry this item though, so after doing a little googling, I found Me Brews Taphouse. The menu is simple and what you expect from a bar, with decent prices. The burger was juicy! A good size patty with super fresh toppings. My only regret is I didn't get double cheese as it wasn't gooey enough for my preference. The fries... well, they LOOKED tasty enough but were just down right awful. Soggy and bland. Shoestring are my go to French fry and these were so very disappointing. They had zero crisp and again, no flavor. But let's talk about the star of the show! The chips! Talk about a flavor bomb! They were crispy, even under all that rich creamy beer cheese and just loaded with so much bacon and onion! Wow wow wow I will be going back just to get more of these sinfully delicious chips

Peanut butter & jelly sour was my fav. Sava let me try a bunch. There were two other sours that I wasn't wowed by. There's about 55 on tap. There's another peanut butter flavored but IPA that I liked as well but I went with the lighter option. Sava also makes delicious margaritas, which was cheaper than my beer. The black bean burger was tasty, they offer a lot of toppings. The menu doesn't have a wide range of food. Another patron there said he's tried most of the dishes & he didn't have complaints. The specials last night were fish n chips & funnel cake fries. The fries left much to be desired. I could've done w/o them especially since they aren't included when you order a burger. You can add sauce or seasoning. Most if not all the sauces are mayo base (I'm not a fan of mayo) but I got garlic parmesan shoestring fries. I didn't taste any garlic. For the price they could put more fries in the order (I forgot to take a photo). The bar area is nice & spacious w/ plenty of seating. The rest of the establishment is mostly booths & a bit cramped. Overall service was friendly & timely. They have daily specials & karaoke Tues & Sat night. Good location, parking may be difficult on busier nights.

Overall great experience and great food. Ben was our server who was very nice. Started off with some beers and got the cauliflower bites which were fantastic! Shoestring fries were delicious along with the burgers! Jalapeño popper burger was spicy enough but the cream cheese really helped on the spiciness. The mac & cheese burger was also very delicious Was really impressed of the extensive beer menu Rating 9-10 overall could not complain

Mr. Brews Taphouse-Melbourne, 3945 West Eau Gallie Boulevard, Melbourne, Florida. 3-Stars (Chain Restaurant Rating) On a regular basis people whine to me, "Why don't we have this or that restaurant in Brevard? Why won't they open this or that grocery store here?" I've said it before, and I'll say it again, "It's the demographics, stupid!" Seventy percent of people older than 25 on the Space Coast don't have a college degree, so they are not likely to have the high-paying jobs that allow for a lot of discretionary eating-out income. The people who make good money are mostly engineers and medical doctors, notorious non-spenders. What we do get in Brevard is the likes of Mr. Brews Taphouse, a poor man's decalcomania of a B.J.'s Restaurant & Brewhouse. That should give you an indication of what we are dealing with. A relatively new concept, the first Mr. Brews opened in March 2013 in Weston, Wisconsin. There are about a dozen of these franchises throughout the United States, most of them also in Wisconsin. Two are in Florida, this one on the east coast, and the other on the west coast in Sarasota County. Mr. Brews Taphouse has an enormous beer menu. However, I have nothing more to say on that topic. Not only am I no longer drinking alcohol, but I have also never been a beer appreciator. Oh, well. At least I am a food appreciator, so I tried and am ready to tell you about the victuals Mr. Brews had to offer, which was mostly burgers with creative twists like a Kentucky Bourbon Classic, Bacon Mac N Cheese, and Jalapeño Popper. I thought I would make it interesting and try the Peanut Buster Burger, topped with a spicy peanut butter, pepper jack cheese, and bacon. Although this burger presented nicely and was cooked to temperature, it was nothing special. The supposedly spicy peanut butter spread was underwhelming at best. I understand that for many people, peanut butter on a burger would be a non-starter. So, if it makes you blanch, I'm not going to insist you give this one a try. It just was not worth it. Perhaps another burger would have made a better impression. I do recommend you try the Pub Grub, which is a twist on nachos. I ordered it with fresh-cut chips (but you can choose fries), topped with homemade beer cheese and chopped bacon and garnished with diced green onions. Very pleasant. The chips were crispy and tasted fresh. The sauce was fun. This appetizer carries the weight of this rating. My server, Sharon, was outstanding. If she used Febreze to neutralize the cigarette odor on her uniform, she would 100% make my Top Five Servers in Brevard List. Heck, you know what? Sharon's service was so exceptional, I am going to ignore the cigarette stink. The Big Boy says, "Stop hoping for a Cheesecake Factory and accept that Mr. Brews Taphouse is as good as it's going to get here in Melbourne."

A nice little stop-off if you want to grab a beer or two or three. Average price for a pint is $7.25; higher APV's go up to $9.25 for a 10 oz snifter. Happy hour is 3-6 pm Monday thru Friday, however when we asked what the "happy hour" price benefit is, we were told "a little bit off the price." I asked if that is a % off or a $1.00 off or what, and never really got a straight answer from the bartender. They have around 70 beers on tap (or 70 taps), but a handful were out. The bartender was friendly and offered us samples of any beer we wanted to try before ordering. I cannot speak for the food quality, but in viewing the menu, the prices were high for bar food. The cook however seemed quite dedicated to his job, been a cook for some time, and enjoys what he does. Very friendly and comes out of the kitchen to talk to patrons when he gets a break. There are some tv's mounted for your entertainment, but we rather enjoyed just talking with the other folks that stopped in. The beer was cold, and the seating areas and restrooms were clean. There is additional table seating outside (when it's not raining; it IS Florida)! :-)

After an awesome moms weekend away a family dinner was much needed. The newly opened @mrbrewstaphousemelbourne was the perfect spot! #jalapenopopperbuger and garlic Parmesan fries hit the spot but if your looking for something a little lighter then the house salad topped with chicken with house made ranch will be your jam! To our surprise kids eat free on sundays so even after a beer /flight we feed the entire family for under $40! Our server was great and the place was very clean! We will be back! . #suportsmallbusiness #locals #dinner #pictures #foodphotography #foodie #yum #burgerandfries #foodiesofinstagram

We came in the other day for burgers and beer while in the area after hearing from others how delicious their food was and how many beers they had on tap. Mr. Brews definitely lived up to the hype - my Bruschetta burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly - still juicy while well done. The fries were fresh and had great seasoning. Great selection of beers - usually I have a tough time finding red beer but not here. For those who aren't big fans of beer, there's a few wines to choose from. Prices were awesome - our meals, a pint of beer and glass of wine came out to $32 after taxes/before tip. One thing to note for those concerned is no one - staff nor customers - were wearing masks at the time we visited. We will be back once we're fully vaccinated.

We were looking for a quick place we could stop on our way south and found this place on Yelp. I'm not a beer drinker but if you like beer they've got you covered. I had a mushroom Swiss burger that was excellent. My husband got a pork sandwich and said it was very good. The fresh chips were yummy, like ribbon fries you get at the fair except not as greasy. Overall a great place to stop and get a quick but delicious bite.

The server was very nice and took our order. It took about 20-30 minutes to get ready. It was surprising since we were the only people there.. My only complaint was that it tasted like old grease. So the first few were good but then it was just super heavy. Like old fry grease. Maybe we will give it a try again in the future.... The far future. Decent real meat patty burger, enjoyable well seasoned potato petals... Prices were decent and the staff was nice. $27 before tax and tip for two basic hamburger, swapped out the potatoes petals for one meal to get the regular fries, and added bacon to a burger.

Definitely don't recommend sitting outside either when they're busy and looks like there's only one waitress/hostess. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon, realized it's a small spot, it's packed thinking food and service must be good. It's packed. Walked in for a party of 3 looking for a quick bite, mainly appetizers and drinks. Was greeted but she didn't bother making eye contact. Was given a menu and told to sit wherever we'd like. Pickings were slim, so we decided to sit outside. Cute set up, patio furniture but we waited outside for almost 12 mins before she came and asked if we wanted to drink. As she came out, we got up and left. Seems like if you're not white and a regular here you won't get good service or acknowledged. Won't be coming back here. We found a better spot not too far down the road called Hell'n Blazing Brewery. Check them out.
