Jeni's ice cream has been my go-to ice cream shop. This visit, I decided to step outside my comfort zone and try their seasonal special: lavender, double cookie dough, and peppermint. Surprisingly, the combination was absolutely delicious -- unique, bold, and perfectly balanced. From the outside, the shop looks small, but once inside, it opens up into a spacious and inviting space. The staff was friendly and patient, especially with my group as we debated which flavors to choose. That said... when did ice cream become such a luxury? Between my seasonal scoop and a two scoop cup, the total came out to nearly $20 -- definitely unexpected. Still, the quality and flavors make Jeni's hard to resist.

Some reviews mentioned bad service, but the employees were kind to us and we had no issues with them.

Thankfully, I watched someone else's order before ours arrived and was able to remove some of the ice cream and put it into a separate cup for myself. I didn't notice any high chairs, although I wasn't specifically looking for them. The ice cream itself was good but fairly average. The highlight for me was the cute building and old-fashioned atmosphere. Overall, it wasn't the best fit for our family.
