Mojo Cookie Dough and Creamery is an ice cream truck that catered a company function that I attended in Nashville, Tennessee. The portion of ice cream is ridiculous. I mean that with all possible affection. It took a little bit for the owner to notice that I was there, but I did go out after the rush. Once he did notice me, he was friendly and engaging and why don't you great detail about his ice cream offerings. It is obvious he is passionate about what he does. We also talked about music for a bit. It turns out that he was from New Jersey, just as I originally was from New Jersey. As I said, these are huge portion. That seemed to be the general consensus at the trade show and I am sure if that if I were to give this to a kid, their eyes would bulge are they would be in a glory that only children could have when presented with a large amount of ice cream. We do not recommend hiring this vendor for private events. He required a deposit upfront, which we paid, and we had clear written agreement on the event times. He arrived almost late just as the event began yet immediately began complaining that guests weren't lining up quickly enough and made negative comments to other vendors and attendees. His behavior was unprofessional and inappropriate for a company appreciation event to say the least. To make matters worse, he left an hour early without serving everyone, despite being paid in full. We were looking to feed over 1600 kids in under an hour and a half and instead of asking any questions they proceeded to hang up on us and email us about 'bad booking practices'. It is true there is a lot of ice cream, with a couple of small cookies, and some toppings. Served in a paper bowl, it is sort of a variation on an ice cream sundae more than an ice cream sandwich. But the cookies were very good, the ice cream was excellent, and the toppings were good. They have a variety of decadent options you can choose from, or you can build your own choosing cookies, ice cream, sauces, and toppings. I suppose the prices are a little high overall, but what you're getting is a very good dessert that could easily feed two people. So I thought the prices were pretty reasonable. I saw a lot of reviews that the staff was rude, and that certainly was not my experience. I might not seek out this food truck, in part because it involves a LOT of calories, but if they happened to show up I would have a hard time resisting. As an end of the year celebration, my school brought the Mojo Cookie Dough and Creations food truck to campus. After enjoying lunch in the sun, I couldn't think of anything better than an ice cream sandwich. They have a few preset flavors to choose from or you can build you own. I built my own with two double dark cookies (I didn't realize I could have chosen two different cookie flavors until after) and cookie dough ice cream. The portion was HUGE and it all tasted so good. The man the runs the Mojo Food Truck is a joke! He is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I have no idea how this guy is still in business! We have had him to our neighborhood multiple times and have had the same experience every single time! I have never experienced this with any other trucks that I have scheduled for our neighborhood and I have been doing this the last year. After the first couple bad experiences with him last year (2020) I decided we were done with him. Last week I decided to give him another chance and man was that a bad idea! He is now not allowed back in our neighborhood! And here is what he had to say "You're just sad because your neighborhood is a total dud good luck". Went to eat the street food truck fest in franklin. Line was long and the menu looks amazing; however, my dessert was so bad I had to throw it away. Very old dry store bought cookies. Ice cream Tasted ok but cookies also crumbled and spread on top were very dry and old tasting. The "cookie dough" was so dry it took me 3 chops with a spoon to even break it. :( If food trucks are selling "homemade" and want local support, please make sure you serve fresh. AMAZING!!! We were in Nashville for the 4th of July and I love ice cream so we had to stop by the food truck. The options are literally larger than life. I decided I couldn't eat that much ice cream so I just got the root beer float but that ended up being a great choice! You get the extra root beer in the can, plenty of ice cream in the cup and an extra cookie! I got the cookies and cream cookie and it was smaller but really soft and incredibly good. I booked this truck for our neighborhood. Owner hung up on me after calling me to book saying he couldn't talk right now after HE called me. Was never provided a menu but was directed to website. I asked prices via text and was told "8". It was not just $8. It ranged from $8-$14. I marketed for weeks locally for this guy to come to our neighborhood. He set the time from 4-7. I advertised that. At 3:00 he texts and says he will arrive at 430. After being late, he is RUDE to the first few customers and serves my husband a liquid ice cream and cookie "dessert??" (mine) that spilled over the edge it was so runny. Upon eating it, it had ice crystals and tasted freezer burnt. He served customers (by himself) for three hours with a regular 45-60 minute wait. He sold so much he ran out of food. Told clients this was his "best neighborhood ever" but when it was over and I went to talk to him about being late he told me that he wasn't booking anymore events with a guaranteed time without guaranteed numbers. He sold ice cream for THREE HOURS STRAIGHT!!! When I asked how much he sold he replied he didn't know but that "if it makes you feel better" this was the best neighborhood I ever had. Then he immediately complained that he spent $30000 on repairs to his truck and risked his life with COVID and driving out so far to "serve ice cream to people". WOW! I legit prayed for a Mojo ice cream sandwich today. I work downtown and have been going to food truck Thursday's in hopes that they would be there for the last several months. Today was my lucky day...that is until I handed over my voucher for a free sweet treat. The employee was not only misinformed but rude and disrespectful. He argued with me about how they didn't offer the vouchers anymore and that I clearly been there in quite a while. I expressed that I have been coming nearly every week since last spring and they hadn't been there. Then this less than pleasant employee argued that I had to buy one and get one free...finally after a stalemate he reluctantly decided to honor it. This makes me so sad as my previous experiences with Mojo's were wonderful. I hope they get their customer service together soon...but at this point I think they have lost a customer in me. read more

I naively decided to trust the given address on this Yelp page and was taken 45 minutes out of my way to an airport parking lot. Not only did we not find the truck, but we also had to pay to park because it took us more than 25 minutes to look for it. I called three times and got no response. I went from Southern Florida to Nashville to pay $12 for parking plus gas and plus my massive disappointment. This was probably my fault in the long run, though. 3/5 stars still because hey, I didn't get to have any, but it still looked pretty good in the pictures. Fml read more

I work downtown and always look forward to Food Truck Thursdays. Today I noticed that there was a Food Truck I hadn't tried before so I decided to go for it.. I was not disappointed. I chose an ice cream sandwich with double chocolate chip cookies, dulce de leche ice cream and Reese's peanut butter frosting. They give you a HUGE helping which I thought I would have trouble finishing.. That was not the case. There was not a crumb left. The cookies were soft and delicious and the ice cream was ridiculous. We were extremely disappointed by our experience with Mojo. My friend and I ordered the cookie dough ice cream sandwich and mine was noticeably smaller than hers. For a $6 ice cream I really expected a lot more, and it was especially disappointing in comparison. The dough was frozen but you could not wait for it to thaw because the ice cream melted too fast.
