I saw from outside they had a deli so I figured let me get a quick meal. As I walked in I saw everything was so neatly organized. It looked like no one touched anything, every product was in itself place. I must have gone at a great hour because there were not too many people inside. They've recently added a live cooking demo & food tasting series to the saturday market. Definitely swing by for this at some point. Today I got to taste a delicious portabello ropa vieja. Yum. I didn't linger on the cooking demos too long, but one can certainly gain some knowledge on cooking all those fresh tasty vegetables. I'll stop through again sometime soon. There is a CSA called NEXTDOORGANICS stationed at the Bushwick Farmer's Market that I'll probably be joining. This CSA is unique in that you don't pay upfront for the whole harvest season, you can go week by week. Also, fresh cut flowers are included in your weekly pickups. Aside from veggies, Bushwick Farmer's Market also has local honey, cheese and milk, brewklyn grind coffee and artisanal bread. I look forward to seeing this farmer's market grow in the future.
