It's probably been close to a year since we've ordered takeout from this restaurant. Undoubtedly, it's going to be the last time Re-ordered two entrées and two appetizers One appetizer was spring roll, and it was literally the only edible thing in our order. The absolute worst thing was the scallion pancake, which first of all lacked any taste look or actual presence of scallion and secondly, the dough or batter it was made from literally was like old leather, not chewable was almost impossible to cut or break apart and in the end, I don't think a single bite was even consumed. This place is alright, your typical American Chinese takeout. Service is SO SO SLOW. The wonton soup was really good though! The wontons were small and not too much dough. That's about it. a very average looking Chinese food take-out. my mother and i just randomly decided to have Chinese food and this was the one in the Acme plaza where we were shopping. Not much going on here that is worth reporting on. The food at lunch is ordinary, and little effort is made to distinguish it from other lower end goopy sauced shops. While you can spend under $10 for their lunch specials, they are all variations of the same thing with only the base ingredient changing between, pork, beef, chicken or shrimp. Probably an adequate take out place, but not the place to bring friends or family for a good meal. Mr China is your typical fast-food, fast delivery, takeout Chinese food. They offer all the basic food elements and menu items one would expect from a Chinese takeout location, The inside is still very reminiscent of childhood days, when going into a Chinese restaurant meant looking at the red booths and aged menus. But you don't really rate Chinese takeout on the looks of the interior restaurant, rather the food is good, it is decent and comforting. This is probably my favorite Chinese place located in Mercer County area. If you are looking for a good eat in or take out Chinese food spot to splurge into than this is the place to be. I come here at least once a week give or take for their spare ribs with pork fried rice. The ribs have a lot of meat on them and so tasty. If you come in to place a order on a busy day depending on how busy they are you may have to wait no later than a half hour that's if it's extremely busy other than on a slow not so busy day you would have your food with 10 mins that. They do online ordering as well which I think is your best option. I highly recommend to all of you that have not been here to stop by and grab what ever your favorite Chinese dishes are. Every single time I come out of forced dinner choices, this place is horrible. They get my order wrong, the order takes forever to fix, the order is never available for the time they say, you name it. They never apologize or do anything to make up for their poor service. It began in subtle ways with the chicken fried rice being underseasoned, egg rolls noticeably smaller and entrees like General Tso's chicken and Mu Shu chicken slipping. It is hard to find good Chinese food in Hamilton. We stopped in to Mr China on a lark. The place was busy, so I assumed the food must be good. Well, I am happy to say that Mr China did not disappoint. So far they have the best Chinese take out that I've had in the 9yrs that I've lived here. Mr. China is a good solid place for Chinese takeout. The location and hours are good and they do a good job preparing the standard dishes most Americans expect from Chinese takeout joints. I've had their sesame chicken, chicken with broccoli, kung pao chicken and shrimp with broccoli for dinner. The steamed dumplings are decent-sized and a pretty generous portion - egg rolls are okay. Shrimp and chicken fried rice are what you'd expect. Nothing fancy here, but the food is consistent and tasty, it's clean and well-lit inside, they've never screwed up my order and they pack to-go orders well so it's reasonably hot when you get home. They're set up well to pick up takeout at the door for Covid-19 distancing too. I'm a fan of Golden Empire over in Lawrenceville on Route One but Mr. China is good too. read more

So please, adjust your expectations accordingly. What they do have is decent Chinese take out, the chicken dumplings, which are not on the menu (but you can ask for them) are outstanding. My family and I have gone here for the last decade or so and have not been disappointed. We're greeted warmly and our regular orders are remembered and prepared how we like them. 5/23/2020 They are doing pick-up at the door. Easy to order on-line pay cash or credit at door. I had ordered a combination dinner of Sweet & Sour Pork, sadly but no problem, had to substitute with Sweet & Sour Chicken. Everything was perfect and hot even after driving home. The only thing I just didn't like (& it's probably just me) was the Egg Roll. The Pork Fried Rice was perfect. You also get the dry noodles & 2 fortune cookies and a bowl of Sweet Sauce. I also ordered Won Ton Soup which I will eat tomorrow. There was so much food that I have enough for dinner tomorrow night. A friend of mine recommended Mr. China, which is located in the Acme shopping center on Hwy 33 in Hamilton, NJ, and I am so glad she did. I will return again and again. The food is good, but variety is nothing different than most similar establishments aside from the vegetables. The vegetables are incredibly fresh and delicious.
