Had dinner at Le Dish in Hamilton NJ last evening. Lettuce wraps for two both abundant and exceptional for a two person appetizer! Lettuce leaves were crisp, and large enough to fill and enjoy the delicious filling. Vegitable Spring rolls were also ordered served hot and fresh and were on par with other top rated Asia Fusion resultants in the area. Two soups: Wonton and Hot and Sour. The Wontons were very large my wife had no concerns and finished it all. Hot and Sour was also very good, flavor a bit different than usual but portion was plenty and I added some of the Lettuce Wrap filling to it and customized it with more crunch. Entree: we split one entree - Shrimp LoMein / Shrimp Fried rice. Even splitting it for two we ended up taking half of both home. Very large portions and the taste was also above average comparable to the better Asian restaurants in the area. Their menu is very large so if you are looking for a top notch quality Asian cuisine with a VERY LARGE variety menu of dishes this is one place to definitely put on your list to explore. PS. Saw so many poditive reviews of Le Dish that I wanted to try it. Since it was fusion, we sampled many cuisine types. We started with sushi pizza and vegetarian lettuce wraps (tasty but not pictured), I got shrimp wonton soup, husband got green curry tofu, son got 2 sushi rolls. The place was packed and the service still moved at a reasonable pace. We all enjoyed their meals although i kinda wished id gotten the miso soup instead... ill try that next time. read more

Back a few times since our first visit and review and the food has been consitently good and fresh. On this our 5th return dinning experience we shared the stuffed eggplant with black bean sauce--- egglpant stuffed with shrimp and pork in black bean sauce. It is an unexpected preparation. the shrimp and pork are minced and mixed into the eggplant. It is a DELICIOUS dish. We also had the chicken with snow peas and shiitake mushroom dish. I got dinner take out from here a few days ago. The quality of the food was pretty mixed. Drunken noodles with beef was pretty good, right amount of kick and tasty, however, their stir fry green beans were so bland, little seasoning. My friends ordered chicken lo mein, noodles were very soft and also lacked flavor. I recall liking this spot a few years back when a friend of mine introduced me to this restaurant and ate there. In over 2 years, the quality at Le Dish still shines. Here to note that all of my previous recommendations are still winners, and adding the following: fried pork dumplings (daughter's go-to), salmon lovers combo (ordered twice this week, per other daughter), steamed veg dumplings (asked for 2 sides of masaman curry sauce and owner made it work!), and red thai curry with shrimp (asked to make it spicy and the chef made it perfectly!). I found this place on Yelp when I was looking for another place near my mom's house, but then decided to come to this one after all given the better reviews (thanks Yelp)! Glad we did. It's a nice little restaurant with a very large menu of different Asian cuisines ranging from Chinese to Thai to sushi...most of what we ordered was pretty good. For apps we had shrimp spring rolls (good though only 2 pieces & the sweet chili sauce with it was tasty) and the soup dumplings (only 3 pieces & just ok, and they should give proper soup spoons with it because regular spoons not really adequate to eat it properly). For sushi we tried one of their special rolls the Cherry Blossom (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, avocado & scallions wrapped in pink soy paper), which was 8 large pieces & pretty good. We also got Panang Curry with Chicken (tasty & has a kick but not super spicy) and Black Pepper Chicken & Scallops (not spicy & pretty good) and shrimp pad thai (liked it well enough though have had better & some found it a bit too sweet). The main dishes were a good quantity of food (and we liked how crisp the veggies were in them) but they should give bigger bowls of rice accompanying it since there was not much of that (which is why we ordered pad thai). Washed it down with Thai iced tea (I thought a bit too sweet but not bad). Also the appetizers had quite few pieces compared to most places. But overall we enjoyed the food, and the service was generally efficient & accommodating and they gave suggestions when asked. Bathrooms were pretty clean. I eat here often and most of the employees know me by name and face. Everyone is friendly. My favorite dish here is the chicken with cashew nuts. It is enough for two people to split (my mom and I split it often). I also love the pan fried pork dumplings here as well as the shrimp shumai. Another favorite of mine is the fried rice with baby shrimp which is usually fresh, but I've had a few times it wasn't the best, but mostly it's a hit. I order delivery from here a lot and it is usually on time, if not early. The ambiance inside the restaurant is elegant and could be a cute date spot or just a casual bite to eat. The food here is terrible. Ordered a special dinner with my parents last night and each of us couldn't eat our dinner. I enjoyed my lunch, which was ordered for delivery. I was participating in a work session that had a very early start so by the time 1 pm hit everyone was hungry. LeDish was the desired choice so I ordered broccoli with garlic sauce (because I am not a fan of non-fibrous chicken). I also ordered some sushi. I know from experience that the avocado used at this location causes me to have an allergic reaction, so I substituted the avocado for a Japanese pickle and I must say, it was delicious. I also really enjoyed their sweet potato rolls with eel sauce (always order extra eel sauce on the side). The other food items that were ordered were inhaled before I could take a photo of them. I was able to snap a picture of the pineapple fried rice (but only after it had been dug into). If the chicken weren't tofu textured, I would give Le Dish 5 stars. They know how to flavor their food in a balanced way. Speaking of tofu, their miso soup is off-the-chain satisfying. They stack it with seaweed, tofu, and the smooth light flavor of miso. I never have to add any seasoning to it to make it enjoyable. Traveling for work, had a hankering for some good sushi and found Le Dish on Yelp. The outside is a bit unassuming in a small retail center. The staff greeted me upon entering and seated me promptly. This place has been popping up on my suggested list for a while, so I finally got to try it! Ordered for takeout online. Pickup service was super quick. The woman by the register was very friendly too. I also love that they have a lunch special! I ordered 2 maki rolls, which comes with miso soup. Satisfied my craving! Also got red bean buns which were good. It could've used a bit more filling (but it was still a great amount, I just like extra filling). Place itself was cute. Hands down, the best Chinese place in the area and Ive been to a bunch (China Boys, Schezuan House, etc etc). The spicy popcorn chicken with peanuts is SO good, light, crunchy and spicy! I thought I had my go to Chinese spot in this area. It's within walking distance and Uber authentic. There was a kitchen fire that took many months to reopen after, but food seemed to be the same. Then pesky Yelp kept showing me reviews for Le Dish. And these were by Yeloers I could trust, Elites at that. I came in around 2:30 on a weekday so I could take advantage of the lunch specials, I was the lone dinner. First out was a large bowl of hot and sour soup. Traditional rendition and well made. I used the Yelp checking offer for shrimp spring roll, these were the old school Chinese version, not bad. For an entree I had their Grandfathers chicken ( basically general Tso's) This was a huge serving of white meat chicken, lightly breaded and fried crisply. The sauce was not gloppy, and a bit less sweet than some places. This was one of the best versions of this dish I've ever had. When I commented on the generous portion to the server, he commented that this was an entree size portion( thanks Yelp checkin offer!) I also wanted to try their sushi so I ordered a 2 roll lunch special to go. I chose white tuna and cucumber shrimp. Both very good and fresh even hours latter, I'd get either again but will likely try a specialty roll next visit. I did like the decor, and the customer service was great. Even though it will require a short drive, this is my new go to Chinese. I just hope enough other locals find it and patronize it. This is a difficult location. read more

This was my first order. It was delivered by GrubHub. I thought maybe I had missed the GrubHub driver by a few minutes, so I called the restaurant to get some details. All was fine, and the lady answering at the restaurant was very polite and caring. The food: EXCELLENT! I was going to call them back immediately to let the cooking staff know they did a great job, but I was too busy savoring the food! I couldn't pull myself away from my plate to phone them. This is my spot when I want good quality Asian dishes. My husband & I really enjoyed eating in the restaurant pre-Covid and we still enjoy eating there through take-out now. With most of our normal american-chinese food restaurants closed for the last several weeks, we had such a craving for chinese food we set out to try and find one open in the area. We came upon Le Dish and placed an order through their very easy online system and paid that way too, entering CC information and adding tip directly. The prices are higher than our other spots but we felt it worth it considering we wanted to support local businesses during this time. Our food delivered pretty quickly, and was contact-less, which we appreciated. They left it on our door step, rang our Ring, and waited back by their car to ensure we picked it up. The food was hot, and more on the "authentic" side of preparation with things not dripping in sauce etc. It was nice and we have ordered 2x since. Our 2nd and 3rd delivery was not as contact less. Hubs had to sign the receipt, not a major dead I suppose as the delivery person was masked up so that was good. So far the stands out have been the beef chow fun and the orange beef. The sushi wasn't my most fav. I am pretty picky so husband wasn't surprised it wasn't my fav. Hot and sour soup was bland. What gets me the most and why I almost gave 3 stars instead of 4....was because of price differences from online ordering compared to the paper menu that was attached to our deliveries. My wife's friend recommended LeDish. She and I went there for the first time with another couple last Saturday night. When we first arrived, we were a bit apprehensive as it is in an older strip mall. We were surprised as we entered. Nicely spaced tables with white tablecloths and a nice atmosphere. There was a sushi prep bar to the right. It is BYOB. Our friends brought wine. The menu is a lot to take in. I would suggest that you go on-line a look it over before you get there. The available Chinese, Japanese and Thai selections are vast. My wife had a Japanese scallop bento box meal which was abundant and came with soup and salad. She was very pleased and brought some home. I ordered two sushi rolls to start. They came nicely presented on a large white platter. They tasted fresh and delighted us all. One of our guests had Pad Thai. She is well traveled and commented that it was the among the best she had eaten. Her partner had the beef with mixed vegetables. It arrived very hot and had flavorful beef and crisp vegetables. I ordered the eggplant with garlic sauce. They were tender but not overcooked and very tasty. Everyone was pleased. We finished with each couple sharing a desert; my wife and I had the spumoni tartufo, however I do not recall what our guests ordered but again we were all pleased. Staff-wise, there were a couple of people behind the sushi counter and two people minding the front desk. We saw them walking to and from carrying packages from the kitchen. It seems that LeDish does quite a take-out business. The person that took our orders delivered each dish and then bussed the tables in between and eventually brought us the check. She seemed a bit overworked. The dining room was not full so maybe that is the management plan; to minimally staff the dining room while concentrating more people to handle take-out. It seemed odd watching the two people at the front desk not taxed with tasks while our server went at it solo. We will definitely go back to LeDish.
