First time at this place. The food is decent, but not great. Our waitress Rene was the sweetest person, as she was very attentive. The one huge blemish on them is that the menu is quite confusing. They had their lunch special for the week posted on the top corner, which we thought were only the few items listed, and not the entire page. I ordered the cod fish basket that stated that it came 3 pieces to an order, but I only got two. We brought it up to their attention, and the manager came over to explain that it was only the lunch special that had the 3 pieces. The manager was very condescending towards us, and made us feel like we were too stupid to read a menu. She was very rude and doesn't need to hold a position where she needs to interact with people. If you go to Mr. Crabby's, have your server explain the menu clearly to you, or the same thing will happen to you. You get 3 pieces of fish for $8 dollars, on the lunch special, but you get 2 pieces of fish for $11 dollars on the weekends. Doesn't make a lot of sense to go to this place except during lunch. Came in to eat, and the rude lady at the host stand said they were no longer seating anyone... I was there before 9, yet close is it at 10. Both ladies in the front were rude, as well as the bartender. There were plenty of people in the restaurant when I showed up. I ended up making a to go order that the same girls were not happy to be doing..even though it's part of the job, no? After waiting for my togo, it's now just before 9:30 another couple comes in and gets seated???? HELLO? you're no longer seating anyone, my party was for 2 people, but you can sit 2 people 30 minutes after I was told no?? I bit my tongue this time, but was unhappy with the way we were treated. I Manage at a restaurant so I know this behavior is not correct. It was a bad experience overall. The Mr. Crabby's Seasoning was very good. The gator bites were also good. Service was great. Now for the downside: the crab legs (imagine a bundle of rubber sticks that you're trying to peel in search of meat), the Cajun fries (seasoned, but not with Cajun seasoning), the three sausage slices (means three 1/4" bite-sized slices). You may think you'll need a crab cracker, but you won't. They wouldn't work on these rubber crab legs anyways. Avoid the Thursday night karaoke special if possible - aside from tone-deaf and beat-less, the song choices were also horrendous. Best bet is to only go with the fried food - decently priced and tasty. read more

Great new place! We ate here for the first time tonight and we will definitely be back. I had the combo basket with fried shrimp and catfish with Cajun fries... all excellent! Fresh and hot! Topped that off with a couple glasses of Pacific Punch (cocktail). JJ was our server and he did a terrific job. Great customer service and a prompt and correct order. The prices are inflated Vs. the portion size and the scenery is just generic commercial chain restaurant. I come here often with my family of 6. I usually order gator bites and Mr crabby's special snow crabs legs broccoli and eggs with a flight. We spend at least 300 every time. Let me start there. Never have any complaints. Usually will leave a good review because of the wait staff and this thing they do to have extra days off. The waitress was nice however, Over the past few times the sauce has been really greasy and salty I only ordered the flight, eggs broccoli and gator this time with Mr. crabby sauce. Something was off about the gator today some pieces were gator and some were chicken you can clearly tell the difference even had a few pieces of shrimp in there. The gator / chicken was very salty over seasoned.
