super slow service. I wanted to order the wings off the lunch special, and the waiter told me I couldn't since it wasn't in the time frame. Okay, but the wings are on the kid's menu?? I understand if it has to be a different price that's fine but to not let me order them at all was annoying. we were a party of 4 and my boyfriend's food came out 30 minutes after everyone else's. I was really excited to eat at Mr Crabby's. We needed a reservation because it was so busy. Here's my experience. We pulled up to a building that had a lot of potential. However there was no landscaping. Trash was everywhere. Plants were dying. The fountain was on like it was in the middle of a park. It was disappointing. We were seated and the wait staff were wonderful. We ordered our food and this is where I really began to feel a little weary. The boils were very expensive which is fine is it delivers. The crab had a very fishy taste. I've never tasted crab that bad. But the shrimp, lobster and sausage were really good. However the boil "sauce" was so salty I could barely taste the butter or garlic. I left feeling really upset. This was suppose to be a nice evening with great food. Excellent seafood the lobster tail are great and the sauce choices are perfect. I always get the weekend special and add a lobster tail. The price is great and the restaurant itself is clean. The service suck sat at the table in the bar area for 15-20min before someone came to take my drink order restaurant not very busy. Food fried crawfish tails way over cook the size proportion was not worth the $14-15.00 and the same goes for the fried alligator tails that was $17.00 came in a little paper boat that was sized for one person I mean it's appetizer if it was a family of 4 they would have to order at least 3 of them. Then their margarita very watery and weak little to no tequila and had bite to it not a normal lime bite and not very frozen. When I make lime margaritas at my house you can taste the lime mix and tequila after 3 of them you will be push it driving home legally. read more

The service has gone south one of the male waiters tipped himself $20 when i only tipped $10 in CASH on a $34 tab. He physically wrote it in himself on the receipt. Celebrated our 10 year anniversary here with friends on Friday. Arrived at 5pm to beat the rush. Was nervous because the lot was full. To our surprise we walked right in and was seated. We had 6 in our party and sat outside. Two of us ordered the weekend special (1pc lobster, 1/2 lb of shrimp and 1/2 pound of snow crab. It was delicious. Would definitely order again. The others that ordered off the menu under something fried received their order way before us. They were done eating before we got our food. Bar now opens only means you can order beer. I'm sitting at Mr. Crabbys right now. I hate you Mr. Crabby's. To begin with I don't like seafood. I only came here for someone's birthday. That may influence my opinion. Still is there some reason that a tasty alternative to seafood can not be offered? The wings were not suitable. They have a Sysco taste and look to them. When I ate them I could see the little chicks being plumped up on steroids and then slaughtered on the assembly line. The taste of the chicken was industrial. The only other option were the fries and onion rings. The fries were good. The onion rings were average. What bothers me most is the spare nautical approach to the food delivery. I'm tired of seafood restaurants hiding behind the rough seafarer look as a reason to not provide real plates and silverware. Instead what you get are cheap styrofoam plates, paper cups, plastic dinnerware, and a roll of cheap, brown paper. So you would think with that kind of dinnerware, that the price would reflect that. Oh no. The bill was $168 for six people. I understand that seafood is expensive, but two of us had chicken baskets. So where's the beef, or, should I say, where's the crab? It ain't there at Mr. Crabby's. With all that stated, I predict that Mr. Crabby's will be wildly successful. Never underestimate the public's desire to be ripped off. read more

Kids Cod was good, but the breading was a little thick. The kids liked it so whatever... hehe The service was the part that brings down the star count... it's Sunday, 3pm, and not full AT ALL. No line, no Wait to be seated. Our server was not on top of it at all. First, we asked how large the crayfish ettofue plate was, the server said it was just an appetizer. (It's not, it's its own plate with rice and bread and everything. It didn't come out as an appetizer, in fact it came out 10 minutes after our entire meal came out. 2 adults ordered steam pots of the Sunday special. That was the first to arrive at the table. Call me crazy, but my hands are not strong enough to crack snow crab legs... so I had to ask for silverware... twice. The waiter actually made me feel like I was the weird one... like, who uses silverware here? Then when we got our 2 lone forks, we had to wait for him to come back again so I could ask if perhaps they had a crab cracker tool... and once again... he seemed like it was just weird that I would ask for it. The kids meals needed to be asked for twice before they brought them out. They arrived about 8 mins after the adult meals. The "appetizer" came out another 5-8 minutes after that... The waiter was very bored looking, no smile (which I won't hold that against him... a smile isn't a requirement) but when your waiter seems almost bothered by your requests... for silverware and food plates, that just doesn't sit right. I would give 5 stars for the food alone... I'd love to come back, and preferably have a more courteous and pleasant waiter/waitress. read more

Happy to see more seafood restaurants in the valley! This place was great! Our server's name was Sabrina and she was very nice and attentive. All the seafood we got was fresh and delicious. My only complaint was that the seafood boil sauces were too salty for my taste. I ordered the garlic butter seasoning at a mild level and felt like there was just too much salt in the seasoning. Other than that, prices here are pretty affordable and I like how the boils already come with potatoes, sausage, and corn. Usually these cost extra at other places that serve seafood boils. When we told the waitress about this mix up she brought us a cup and asked us to put the lobster in it so she could throw it away. EMBARRASSING! Her words were "ya saves cómo son los chinos"... All around, a decent visit. My first time here, I decided on the fried alligator as an appetizer, fried shrimp with onion rings. The alligator was good. Not over cooked and chewy. The shrimp were good, only one had a tail still on it, which I didn't see. The breading on the onion rings was really thick and over-fried. I was given cheap disposable fork/knife/spoon in a plastic wrapper with a crappy napkin. Why not some real cutlery and a decent napkin? Everything was served on disposable baskets or plates with tiny sauces. So there is room for improvement. But the food was good for the most part. read more

I have tried to eat here 3 times, always for dinner and the wait line each time was over 30 minutes. Today we tried lunch. Hardly a soul was in the restaurant and we had the patio to ourselves. Our waitress was kind enough to wear her mask when talking to us and it was greatly appreciated. Hubby and I split a lunch plate and ordered 1/2 lb shrimp and 1/2 lb crawfish. That was not enough to eat. 6 crawfish are 1/2 pound. More shrimp but I forgot to count. We knew we had to share the 1/4 ear corn and 2 potatoes. I think some bread would be good to sop up all that delicious juice. I was so thankful for the plastic gloves and bib as it is messy eating. The food must be cooked in a plastic bag because that is how it's served. Just dump it in the tray and dig in. Be warned only plastic dinnerware and paper plates. That is why I knocked it down a star. I just don't like eating that way. The inside of the restaurant is huge and cute. After Covid I'll enjoy sitting there.
