Love stopping by Mr. C's in Concord whenever I'm in town. Almost anything you order off the menu tastes great and homemade. The service is also top tier. My favorites are the chicken tender dinner with mash potatoes, slaw and honey mustard!! A must visit

I am originally from a town that's an hour away from Concord. Sometimes I find myself missing the food from our local restaurant and when I don't wanna take that drive, this place surely satisfies my soul. No matter if I order to go or through delivery, the food always is delicious. The fried chicken is my favorite but the fish is right behind it. Oh and the most delicious thing they have is that cherry sundrop, I always get the largest size

All of their food is good. Service is great. I really like going inside to sit down if I have time. My favorite is the ribeye sandwich, but their shrimp and tenders are good too. They have been in this location a long time and are a staple for town. Most try!

I heard a lot of great things about this chicken spot near my house. I often notice that it is usually very crowded at all times during the day. I checked it out. I got a wing bucket and also a fish & chips dinner. The food was just decent I wasn't blown away but it was horrible. I'm not in a rush to go back but it was just something to try.

I was out doing stuff and got a hankering for chicken and randomly wound up here. been by dozens of times and it looks busy enough to be good but I've always managed to keep on driving. well all good things must come to an end so I actually stopped in for dinner (you know, the meal after lunch.) walking in the place is fashionably dated: potentially comfortable booths along the walls surround a bunch of tables with straight-back chairs. menu is a bit chaotic but the actual ordering is normal. then find a seat and they'll call your number... the soda machine is on the other side of the counter which makes refills awkward because of having to get someone's attention first instead of just getting another nickel's worth of soda... three piece meal leaves a little something to be desired, leg, wing and thigh don't look, feel, or taste like they're fresh out but the potato wedges seem a bit newer and the roll is soft in a good way. all in all much closer to tepid than piping hot, maybe it's a food safety thing?

Loved their burger and their fried flounder and cole slaw. Best taters I've ever had. Fish needed extra spices. Good value too

Awful! I spent over 80.00 for a family meal. The only edible item everyone liked was the fried chicken wings.

The concept is really well done, with a fun atmosphere, a large outdoor patio with covered picnic tables, and a small indoor seating area. It was just too hot to enjoy the patio during our visit, so we opted to eat inside. The menu focuses on sandwiches, salads, and grain bowls. Our group tried three sandwiches: the La Familigia, the Big Schlepper, and the Hillcrest. The La Familigia was enjoyable. The combination of capicola, Genoa salami, mortadella, fresh mozzarella, arugula, and the spicy pickled pepper spread on ciabatta created a flavorful, well-balanced sandwich that I'd happily order again. The Big Schlepper was another winner. The corned beef paired perfectly with the Swiss cheese, spicy Dijon aioli, pickles, shaved cabbage, and caraway rye bread. Every bite had great texture and flavor. Unfortunately, the Hillcrest didn't meet expectations. When you think of chicken salad with apples and pecans, you expect that classic creamy chicken salad flavor. This version was much drier, with little to no mayonnaise, and the flavor was very different from a traditional chicken salad. In fact, someone at our table commented that it had an almost "fishy" taste, which was surprising. To be fair, taste is subjective, and I'm sure there are people who enjoy this style of chicken salad, so I'm only sharing the opinion of the person who ordered it. I mentioned the feedback to one of the employees, hoping they might appreciate hearing a customer's perspective, but the response felt indifferent, which was disappointing. Overall, Pump Social has a great concept, a fun atmosphere, and two of the three sandwiches were very good. I'd definitely return to explore more of the menu, but I'd skip the Hillcrest next time.

Customer service was amazing and the food was top tier! I tried their veggie wrap option this trip, called the Adriaddict. It's hard to say but easy to eat!!! LOL, soooo good. The lemon hummus wa the star of the wrap my gaaaash. Idk how they make it but it's really great. I loved the pickled beets and all the fresh ingredients on it. Each sandwich comes with a side included in the price and that makes decision making easier. We love that. I love how they have bottomless coffee for $3 and the funky and eclectic mugs you can choose from. This is a cool spot. We really enjoyed it and will absolutely be back to try more sandwiches. All of the options sounded so good, it was really hard to pick one. Highly recommend!!

Seriously. Everything has pork. I got a handheld egg sandwich with tomato and cheese on a croissant with their potatoes. Basic sandwich, dry and the cheese & tomato were an extra charge. The potatoes were hard like they're old. The mimosa was good, regular sparkling with pineapple juice. And their tip machine doubles the recommended amount so for my $9 mimosa it generates a +$3 tip at 18 % but it should have been under $2. Just wanted to point that out too. I won't be back.

It wasn't long before my server was over with a bottle of water and a glass full of ice. The reason I came here was because there was a salad listed on the menu that just sounded very refreshing for the hot summer afternoon. I ordered the chop salad with grilled chicken and it was out to me, perfectly plated, in about 5 minutes. The salad was delicious and the chicken was flavorful and hot. The restaurant is small and bright with tons of natural lighting. The bathroom is small, unisex, kind of dark and dim, and a little dingy. My server wasn't the most friendly and she didn't come back to my table after she dropped off the food. I had to go up to the front to ask for a side of dressing. I'd still recommend the restaurant and go back hoping for a different server.
