Came here for lunch today with my son. Was greeted by the cashier. She was super nice! They use to have a BLT that my son love but they don't carry it on the menu anymore. But that didn't stop the cashier from recreating it for us with the cheapest price. She was amazing and accommodating. The burgers were flavorful. My favorite style of burgers "smashed burgers". Another yummy trip to Ace! I got my usual burger order and it was superb! I opted for the sweet potato tots and they weren't very flavorful. I didn't end up finishing them, but my amazing cookies and cream milkshake more than made up for it! I rarely drink their milkshakes because getting a burger and fries is bad enough lol. I've heard so much about the burgers from Ace and i finally got to try them out. The burger was hot, fresh and very tasty!! It's a smash burger which i love. I got the ace burger which has double patties, comeback sauce, grilled onions, house made pickles and probably something else i'm missing. All the flavors come together just right! Once you arrive, you place your order at the counter and receive a pager that alerts you when your food is ready for pick up. Always check your order because the server forgot to deliver my drink. We stood at the register for 15 minutes, completely ignored because they were busy. There was a huge line of people behind us too. I understand if a place is busy, but at a place that's fast casual, I would expect them to take our order so we can sit down and then there may be a longer wait for our food. The only reason we were ever able to place an order is because we went online (while standing at the register) and placed an order. So basically, they serve online customers, but not the ones standing in front of them. We saw many people leave because of how ridiculous it was. I have no idea if they ever took orders the entire time we were there. I still love Ace No 3, but I wouldn't go back to this location. I'll stick to Belmont/Myers Park from now on. read more

Who doesn't love a great burger, I know I sure do! The ace is awesome, it's got just the right amount of sauce and toppings, and the sweet potato tots are awesome. I'm not crazy about the dipping sauce that comes with them, I think they could have found a better flavor pairing, but it's still not bad. I came here during lunch on a Tuesday morning when they just opened, there are not too much customers because if that I got above and beyond services. Ace No 3 is tied for my favorite burger in the Charlotte area (Tied with The Barcelona Burger and Beer Garden in Mooresville... Trust me Southies, make the drive sometime!). What's great about my first experience with the Concord Mills location of this Ace No 3 is that the burger and sides (crispy onion straws in this case) are every bit as good as the original in Belmont so it looks like the quality will follow to each new location they open. Woohoo! 2nd location!! Checked it out on Sunday afternoon around 3. I think we lucked out cause there was nobody here and then everyone came right after us. The outdoor area quickly filled up but the strip mall also has some common tables where you can sit outside and the pagers stay in range. I stopped in with a friend while running errands on a Sunday afternoon. It was the first time either of us had been here. The service was very friendly, food was delivered quickly and was fresh. We both had a single cheeseburger and split an order of fried onions . If I had realized how small the side was, we would have ordered fries instead. I also felt the onion strings were overly greasy. The burgers were among the best fast food burgers. Next time I would go with the fries and also try one of their milkshakes when I'm not the driver. The burger comes with two smash patties layered with melty cheese, along with caramelized onion chunks, bread and butter pickles, and Comeback Sauce. I expected Comeback Sauce to be similar to the "special sauce" that most burger spots have, but this one was quite unique. It has more of a smoky, barbecue-y flavor as opposed to a thousand island taste. Think a chipotle sauce. Either way, it made the burger and there was a plenty of it too! The sweet potato tots were something I'd never had before, but I loved them too. They were more sweet than savory and had a softness on the inside, but I loved this about them. They also came with a horseradish-like sauce (not pictured) for dipping if you wanted them to be more savory. After several tries, I was unsure if I liked the sauce on them or not and continued to eat them plain, but it may appeal to others. We got the Ace burgers and customized it as we liked. We ordered a side of fries and also onion rings, as well as two milkshakes - one with alcohol. The Ace burgers were delicious and perfectly cooked. Their onion fries were okay, nothing too special. Their fries though, they were double fried so it was super crispy, which is what I love! It's the perfect combo with their comeback sauce. Other places just can't seem to get their fries crispy like theirs. The only complaint I have is that their fries did end up getting too salty at the end, but I did thoroughly enjoy it with the burger. If you're of age, I'd definitely recommend getting the alcoholic milkshake. It really brings out the flavor of the milkshake - trust me!! Price may be a bit more than you'd expect, but it's totally worth it! I was so full afterwards and was very satisfied. The staff also came by and checked up on us multiple times to make sure everything was going well, which we appreciated!
