After repair: no more dent. Damage to the PPF remains (as expected).

I had Mr Dent come by my house midday to fix a dent in my car's hood. The dent occurred through the PPF applied to the hood, so I didn't need any paint repair -- paintless dent repair would suffice. I enjoyed being able to get a quote and schedule the visit with Mr Dent all via text messages. That worked well. Mr Dent arrived at the agreed upon time and quickly set to work on my car. The dent was a small one -- fingertip-sized -- and Mr Dent was able to completely eliminate it! I'd sent him an initial photo of the damage via text for a quote (the same image attached here) and he quoted 80% improvement was likely. Well, I call the repair 100%. It's great! Of course, there's still damage to the PPF, but that's the point: it saves the paint. I'll probably replace the PPF after a few more snags and dings on the protective layer. While Mr Dent was here, he noticed another minor door ding style dent on the front, driver-side fender. It was subtle, but clearly there once you knew to look for it. He ended up fixing that one as well for no extra cost. Impressive! Overall, working with Mr Dent went smoothly, resulted in a very nice repair to my car, and didn't break the bank. I hope I never get any more dents in my car. But, if I do, I'll have Mr Dent come over straight away!

Mr Dent arrived on time and got the job done in 20 minutes - as a tree cone had likely done this - he managed to get our dent out - did leave some very slight rippling on the metal which is barely noticeable - overall v happy with the job done to remediate - saved a 3 day paint shop and more expensive remediation - will definitely use them again .

I had a dent on the side of my corner panel that I accidentally hit with my other vehicle. I contacted Mr. Dent, and they did their thing once again!! This is the second time we've came back and they always done a great job, and on time. He said 85% of the work done but I'd say 97% because you can't even see that there was a dent. I've left satisfied twice. I highly recommend and decent prices.

I had a number of small dime size dents on my 2005 Blue Subaru WRX STI and finally wanted to find a local shop that would be able to take care of these blemishes. Marvin, the owner of Mr. Dent and Aegis Detail was super responsive over the phone and directed me to his shop in Dublin, where Mani helped provide an estimate that was super reasonable. They were able to remove all minor door dings I've accumulated over the years parking at BART. I definitely would recommend this shop for their quality work, quick response, and reasonable price. Wow!! Scott made quick work of making a bad ding DISAPPEAR from our 2017 Tahoe driver side door. I thought there was no way that such a bad dent could come out but it he did it! I texted pics and got a quick reply that it would be $150 to repair. Set it up for two days later and when he came he said $125 and it only took 30 minutes. I am so happy! read more

Why does this man have 5 stars? Here's why: 1. Responds to emails and messages, timely 2. Gives either the best or nearly the best prices 3. Comes to your house, so you can do multiple cars at once 4. Does solid work 5. Charges for 5 but notices 2 others and just fixes those without asking for more $$$ 6. Polite (not so much in emails, but in person) I got my weekend car and my daily driver done. I was truly impressed and pleased. All businesses should learn from this man. read more

Scott is extremely polite and honest unfortunately he couldn't work on my Tesla because the dent was on the body line and there's two pieces of metal which is right behind the body line so he couldn't really worked on the dent or cannot get to the dent but he did come out and looked at it and tried all his tools but wasn't able to get the dent to repair. read more

Good as new! He met my wife at work, communicated what times were available and when he would arrive. The door ding was just forward from the charging port on our Model 3, so he let her know how that would affect the time it took, and therefore price. Looks as good as new, I can't even find the exact spot. Hopefully we won't need his services again, but if we do I won't hesitate to call him again. read more

Great communication and Scott flexed with my chaotic schedule. He came to my San Ramon office and handled everything right there in the lot. He removed about 7 dents out of my pickup truck in a little over an hour...straight as an arrow. Price was great and he accepts credit cards. Baseball hit my Porsche, and neighbor was kind enough to reimburse me for the repair. They had used Mr. Dent themselves and - after doing my due diligence - was definitely happy to choose this business to repair the damage. He responded within the time advertised and answered all my questions about process, technique and payment. His quote was reasonable and the repair was done within a week of my first contracting Mr. Dent. He came to my workplace and the results are fabulous. Cannot tell where the damage has been. Scott should be called 'the magician'. He made my car look better than before the dent (if that's even possible). Mister Dent is very experienced and professional in doing all types of dent removal. I own Mendelson Autobody and have used Mr Dent, Scott many times. On some more difficult dents Mr. Dent has surprised me and the customer with a repair that far better than I thought was possible. He takes some hard to repair dents as a challenge and does not worry about how long it takes, he just keeps working until it looks right. He is very professional and keeps all his appointments. He fixed a Porsche 911 roof with a medium dent that was very hard to access. The owner was very happy that we did not have to paint any of his roof and were able to save him a lot of money . I've shopped around several places for the quotation until I was referral by a nice lady who ding my car unintentional but take responsibility to fix the damaged. I can't speak highly enough about Scott and his company, Mr. Dent! While getting some holiday decorations down, I was lazy and didn't move my Ferrari from underneath the storage rack... and something fell leaving 2 small dings on the front fender. After taking a few minutes to cool off, I found Scott on Yelp and had him come out. It took almost 2 hours of hard work, but he was able to get both dings out. Only someone with his experience and patience would have persisted as long as he did to get the job done. He easily saved me from a 4-5 figure repair. Thanks Scott!! read more

They were extremely patient with all of my questions over text and arranging for a convenient time for me to drop off the car for repairs. As you can see from the photos (before and after images), there was significant damage. The damage was enough to have caused a fairly sharp edge that cracked the paint and the location around the door handle made it more difficult to repair. Upon picking up the car, it was amazing how the door was essentially returned to its original condition, especially within the 10 hrs they quoted. Chaz really worked some magic and it's clear these guys are masters of the art. He really took the time to get it right which I appreciated. I would highly recommend anyone to check them out at their Livermore location. Hopefully I'll never have to return but if any of our cars need body repair they will certainly be at the top of our list.

I got a door ding on the body line of my truck, and got sick of looking at it every time I approached it. After looking up various dent removal services, I decided to go with Mr Dent and his 20 years of experience. I was given a reasonable ball park range of the cost over the phone. He advised me that he really needed to see the location and dent itself to give an accurate quote. Mr Dent is very prompt and professional. He was able to remove sharp door ding on an almost flat service for a very reasonable price. No paint, no bondo, no 3-5 days at the body shop! I will be recommending his service to any friends with door dings that want them gone! Metal working is an Art, and Mr Dent knows what he is doing! Manny did an excellent job repairing a dent on my wife's car - it completely disappeared! I was particularly impressed with his honesty; he was upfront about not having the specific touch-up paint for our car's unique color. He advised me to order the correct paint from the dealership and bring the car back for the final touch-up, which I really appreciated. Manny is a genuinely nice person and clearly a master of his craft. While car dings are unfortunately inevitable, it's great knowing we have a skilled and trustworthy professional like Manny to rely on. I used Scott back a few years ago on my Navigator and he worked wonders. I always will use this guy he is great and quick. Recently I drove my daughters car and at the mall someone hit the drivers door. I had him come out and the large dent is gone and you can never tell. He is a miracle worker. Like magic! I had a door ding/dent on my 2 year old car last weekend, my first dent. A van parked next to me in Dublin and the wind blew the driver's door into mine as she opened her door. He had the aura of someone with a lot of paint and bodywork experience. He was upfront on the original cost estimate and it came in right at the estimate. There were a range of quotes from others, from the highest end, Eduardo was 1/10th the cost. From the average, about 1/2 the cost. He let me know it'd be about 90% there in repair, and I was really impressed with the results. About 2.5 hrs of work. Highly recommended and would definitely call him again. Thanks! Note: I realized that jobs are probably a little less predictable time wise so getting from one site to another can be variable. Eduardo mentioned mid afternoon but ran a bit late due to a complex job. He did commit to the work date even though he arrived by 5p., and I was glad that I didn't need to reschedule.

I used Yelp for a few businesses on repair estimates for my dented front bumper cover on my Rav4…read more Did you know that the car's frame is mostly steel or aluminum to protect drivers and passengers, sensors, electronics, etc. but in most cases the outside cover is bendable plastic for aerodynamic reasons? The bad news is that plastic deforms too much from a collision, you can't just massage it back to shape with a hair dryer. Also, who knows if anything else on the car behind the plastic is damaged or out of alignment. California Collision came to the rescue and was able to replace my bumper cover, have it painted, and then recalibration done for the various car sensors to eliminate fault codes. Even minor collisions can cause sensors to be faulty, so don't assume it's a cosmetic thing and try to cut corners and get your vehicle repaired properly. The job took a few hours one day to paint match, then a separate full day to install, recalibrate, and test drive the vehicle to ensure bo more fault codes. George was extremely friendly and transparent with the repair process. He even gave me a tour of his shop and explained the workflow. Its a family business as his son and daughter also work here. He obviously values work-life balance and is closed Friday-Sunday. Body Shops are not cheap but if you need a thorough repair and want things done right, I highly recommend California Collision. If paying out of pocket, use a debit card with a high spend limit to avoid credit card fees.
