He explained everything he was going to do, what he was checking, and even gave me suggestions for what I should do next to keep my car in good shape. My family has been going to Mr. Detail for over 25 years. I brought our SUV with only 24k miles in for an oil change at the end of May 2026. The next day I as driving out of town. About half way to my destination, I got an "low engine oil" notice. To make a very long story short, the oil filter was over tightened causing most of the oil to leak out of my new car. I had it towed to a dealership and that is when we discovered the "mistake". We were able to claim this on our insurance but insurance will have to cover the cost of a NEW Engine. Lesson #1: Check for oil leaks after you have your oil changed. Lesson #2: If this happens to you, insurance will cover the work only if you have full coverage insurance. Lesson #3: do not take any advice from anyone that works at Mr. Detail. Cody tried to talk me into putting more oil in my car after it was found to have metal shavings in the oil. Yes, shaving mean damage. I had to arrange to have my car towed back to Houston. If insurance did not cover this incident, we would have had to sue. Yes, it was under warranty but only if the oil was changed at the dealership. Yes, this can happen at any oil change place. But, I can tell you from now on, I will only take my car to the dealership. I am still out of pocket about $900.00. Just glad that we have full coverage on our car. read more

I wish I had better news. After my last review I was contacted by the company stating they were going to pull video footage and investigate and get back with me. They never got back with me. Against my better judgment I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I went back to have an oil change on my Sonata. The next day I had an oil leak in my driveway. Oil coming from around drain plug. I took it back. Patrick said they tightened everything replaced the plug/gasket and took me under the shop to "prove" there was no leak. He said oil pans and threads wear over time. He gave me the option to replace pan or redrill hole but that would require me to pay for ANOTHER oil change. Well, I did another oil change at home when I pulled off their plug the "gasket" they used was nothing more than a silver washer. I bought a new plug with actual gasket and I have no more leak. Unfortunately we will not be back and if you care about your vehicles I would not recommend. read more

I visited Mr. Detail for my second car wash on Sunday, March 10th. I typically wash my car but I had returned from an out-of-town trip and my parents had given me some spending money and I used it to treat myself to a Superior Interior Cleaning package. I had one before and only had to pay the difference after an oil change and thought they did an amazing job. One that would have taken me double the amount of time. They have great customer service from the time you pull up and the time your car is ready to go. However, upon returning home I noticed 5 nicks on my window tint. I returned the same day but they were already closed. I returned the next morning and spoke to an assistant manager who had a polo on with the name Anna (later to find out her name is Miriam). I explained what I noticed after my car was serviced and she asked to take a look. I showed her and she informed me that their products and cleaning methods do not cause anything like that. She proceeded to tell me that it was caused by me and the way that I take off my seatbelt and I probably never noticed it because of the window not being clean until it was serviced. I informed her that my car was only a year old and I'm always extra cautious (thanks anxiety) and the tint is extremely dark so it is something that I would have noticed even if it happened once. We went in circles several times about whose fault was it and I asked if I could speak to the owner. She informed me to come back the next day to speak to Edward. I returned to speak to Edward the following day and upon his inspection of the window he told me the exact same thing and that the condition of the tint could not be proven before it was serviced and that there was nothing they could do especially if I was seeking a payment or reimbursement of a tint replacement. He went in circles like I did with Miriam and got nowhere. Edward informed me he could give me discounts on services but not a tint replacement and I told him I was not comfortable having my car serviced again at his establishment to which he said it isn't fair for you to throw me under the bus for something that can't be proven our fault. From the pictures and video, you can see that the nicks are fairly obvious that any owner would notice if they nicked their window with their seatbelt. The establishment does a great job and the customer service for the oil and the car wash was excellent but customer service about mishaps is a zero. read more

Wash and detail were OK but don't go there if you want security from dogs and aggressive dog owners. When I was 15 I was seriously bitten by a dog. I'm now 77 and terrified of dogs. A female brought her dog in. As the dog approached near me 2 times I motioned to stay away from me. The third time that she approached me I said that she shouldn't have a dog inside. She lied and said it was a service dog. I called her bluff and said we should call the police to verify that. She went outside to get her very big and gruff father. He went to the counter and called me to talk to the attendant. The attendant said they are pet friendly even though there is no signage to that effect. The father said his daughter was sick. I said she lied about the dog being a service animal and to keep it away from me. The clerk supported them, not me or my concerns. On the way out the father confronted me again saying that I was sick. He was aggressive so I told him that I was concerned for my safety and to not come any closer as I was backed into a corner. The manager who was also Hispanic came out and did nothing. I wouldn't have gone there if I knew they allowed non service dogs to get close enough to patrons to bite them. They can sense my fear and become aggressive. read more

I've been coming to this car wash for over 10 years, so this review isn't written lightly. Unfortunately, my experience today was extremely disappointing. I paid $45 for a wash and interior cleaning, and the interior was barely cleaned. There were still crumbs all over the seats and floor, the cup holders were dirty, the seats were visibly filthy, and the upper dash and control panel were covered in dust and dirt. It appeared the interior service was rushed or incomplete. When I questioned the quality of the work, the man working the station told the employee to "wipe down the seats with a cleaning rag." He then looked at me and said, "Does that make it better?" Before I could respond, he walked away. Both he and the employee were dismissive and implied the issue was my responsibility rather than offering to properly address the concerns. This location used to be reliable, which is why I continued coming here for so many years, but the quality of service has declined. At this point, I can do a better job myself for less money or take my business to other car washes that provide service that matches the price. I will NOT be returning. read more

Vernon had no business being short and dismissive and taking out his frustration with a bad attitude on a random customer, while in a customer service role. Why is the first thing you do when a customer greets you is to roll your eyes? I keep up with my car and had no blinking service lights. after my annual inspection my ABS and traction lights were blinking. I very politely brought it to their attention they were rather dismissive. Carlos took my car the back, I appreciate the effort. I couldnt see what happened, but when he brought it back the ABS light was off but now the traction lights is stuck on and no one knows anything. I actually don't even feel safe driving home. I've been coming to Mr. Detail since 2012 and have seen the team standards and expectations get progressively worse, but how long can you keep letting people get away with poor service because "they're having a bad day" I don't think I trust Mr.Detail with my car anymore. so I won't be returning for oil changes, inspections. I will probably Keep getting car washes because that team works hard and I always appreciate them when they complete my car. I've been going to this same place for oil changes since 2002. They always had stellar service with knowledgeable technicians. They've always serviced my last three trucks. The last year and a half the service has gone down horribly. The technicians are not trained well and have made a few costly errors on my F250. Today they aired my tires up to 85 PSI claiming that they were reading 50 PSI, which would trigger an alarm. They no longer have air conditioners pointed on the vehicles while off. I was in the area and had some time so I decided to get my oil changed here because they give you a free car wash with it. The cost for a synthetic oil change was $70. I had priced a specialty shop previously and they only charged $45. I figured since I was getting a free car wash it was sort of worth it. The oil change was fast enough. They want to change your wiper blades and cabin filter. Regular shop stuff that everyone does. Not too pushy with the extras, but way over priced. Then I get over to the car wash place. The guy is so pushy. He tells me that the car wash that comes with the oil change is the "bare minimum. Just a rinse and dry". Really?! The bare minimum? Ok. Well, I decided to have the interior wiped down. $38! Also, my car came out of the automatic wash. Yeah, he was right. It was the bare minimum and a bad rinse at that. There is still dirt left on the car. Not only all this, but they have a lot of people working here. My car was left at the automatic car wash exit for an extended period of time and then left over in a random spot in the back, where it was almost hit, twice. I wish I could say that was the end of it. I asked the guy who parked my car how long it would take to finish. He said an hour and a half. I couldn't wait that long. So, I asked for my money back (I asked very politely as I have worked in the service industry and hate rude customers). Jennifer was the lady I asked the refund from. She insisted that they don't give refunds they just stamp your receipt and you come back later. After repeatedly letting them know that I'm never in this area and asking if there was anything else they could do (like a refund), Jennifer finally calls the Manager, Kristen. Kristen agrees to the refund with ease, because that's what should've happened to begin with. Jennifer is not happy and is rude the entire rest of the transaction, even raising her voice to me. I go out to my car, it's moved. Kristen is working on cleaning it. I can dig it. The manager working on the car. Well, I have a conversation with her and we end up moving my car to yet another area and I, the customer, started working with the manager to get my car clean. We didn't do a fine detailing but I washed the wheels, fenders, two of the doors' bays, and the trunk bay. Then I say goodbye and wish them well. However...while the car was sitting at the second and third places the key was turned to auxiliary so the battery is running. Surprise! Car won't start. So, I had to sit and wait for MY 'AAA' to come so they can jump the car. Needless to say I will never be coming here again. Save your money. Save your time. Save the hassle. read more

I found this place today and my car needed a detailing really bad. The customer service in every aspect was excellent! I have an suv so it costs more to clean but I understand and am ok with that. They did a great job on my interior and it was super dirty! The wash was great too! I was very satisfied with what they did. I checked before I left and it looked like they missed a few spots in the back seat, but I told her and she cleaned it right up. I dropped my vehicle off to get an interior detail and they ended up breaking my head visor in the process I called the car wash back the next day when I noticed and was told to come back and they'll fix it , once I came back they didn't have the specific screw to screw it in so I called my dealer and get the screw price which was $33 and I told the owner she got rude and said "well there isn't even proof we broke it" then decided she wasn't going to pay for because it was $33!!
