I think I have found my new favorite breakfast and brunch spot. It's a small spot and it looks like a lot of locals come here. I ordered the Mexican omlete with biscuits and gravy, I was not disappointed when the waitress brought a plate the size of a medium pizza pan. The omlete was covered in green Chile and was really good. I've always gone somewhere for breakfast and finished what was on my plate, this place? I wasn't able to do that. Classic breakfast and cafe fare, with some house specials-burger with a fried egg and roasted poblano- to help set them apart. Different than greasy spoon. Better than most in the area. The coffee is just better than drinkable (the Red Rooster's is old school bad). Large servings, good green chili, and always fast friendly service. Read menu descriptions carefully, as they like to add (unnecessary/unwanted) ingredients to some classics, like green peppers in the corned beef hash. We just moved to this part of town and we've been trying the local places one by one to find our favorites. Breakfast here was spot-on! There are plenty of unique choices, as well as the standards. First time visitor and the service and food quality was outstanding! Highly recommended if you don't mind the busyness (that's only because it's good!). Food was plentiful and flavorful, with being overly salty. Eggs cooked perfectly whether over medium or poached for Benedicts. Chicken fried chicken and eggs came with more than enough potatoes and pancakes that were fluffy, yet had some "chew" to them. Most enjoyable. Service was very good and prices even better. Absolutely my favorite spot in Greeley to come and eat breakfast. The service is always very great and staff is very friendly and they always have a smile on their face. The location is very nice and the interior is very well decorated. Mr. egg offers a very great selection of breakfast choices personally my favorite is the Mexican skillet with the green chili. It always fills me up and always taste very delicious. This place unbelievable. Where to begin, the wait staff is incredibly disrespectful and not attentive. The food was very bland and might have had bugs in it. I was eating breakfast and I took a bite out of rotten food. The waitress made racist jokes and did not acknowledge them after I told her it was not acceptable to say that. What a great spot for breakfast or lunch! Huge meals, great prices and big menu to choose from. Was in town for the week, and ate here twice for lunch. Both times had an item from the specials - first the chile relleno plate, and then the italian sausage sandwhich, both were amazing! Service was great, whish I had a name for the blonde waitress with glasses - she took pride in her job, and was enthusiastic about what she was serving! Wow this place was a pleasant surprise here in north denver. Since moving here we have been disappointed with the breakfast. Lisa's place is disgusting, the chains are disappointing, first watch is too expensive for their quality and not that great, the Cracker Barrel ugh, but this place is special. Serving sizes are unbelievable for the price. The food is pretty good. You have to try the carrot cake! We ordered a second one and finished it right away. The service could be a little better but they were doing great for how busy they were. I will definitely come again. read more
