Our 6-year old Samsung dishwasher quit working and a friend recommended we call Mr. Fix it. The man who answered the phone was extremely friendly, and it set up a two-hour window for the appointment and then took down my number. The next day he called me within the time window and headed over. After listening to my description of the issue, he offered up some ideas on what was wrong and provided me with an estimate within the first five minutes or so of looking at my dishwasher. I had a not so pleasant experience when dealing with Steve. I was trying to work with him through my home warranty company to repair my washing machine. He was to provide a quote with the pricing for parts and labor so my warranty company could determine if the cost was going to be more or less than a new washing machine. After his initial visit to my residence, he refused to return my phone calls or my warranty company's phone calls and even told my warranty company at one point (when they did get a hold of him) to stop calling because they were pestering him. He refused to do the simple job I asked him to do (provide a quote with pricing for parts and labor) even after paying him the $75 service charge fee. I do NOT recommend using him if you are going through a home warranty company and after seeing how he conducts himself professionally, I can't recommend him to anyone for any type of appliance repair. read more
