2nd update. Technician has been out twice. Said fixed. Nice guy. Leaves and same error for now 3rd time. Now two weeks without washer. Biggest frustration is this AI company. Called 3 times between yesterday and today to try to resolve this. No call back. No tech. Lost in the void. Extremely frustrating to have to come here and review to try to get someone resolve the issue. Hoping we can figure this out, but be wary of complete lack of customer service if first call out doesn't work. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. I called them to diagnose my refrigerator because it was not cooling properly. After their visit, I was charged over $500 to replace a heating coil and a defrost fan. Unfortunately, those repairs did absolutely nothing to fix the issue. Now, after spending that money, I'm being told that the compressor needs to be replaced -- which apparently was the real problem all along -- and they want to charge me even more. I don't understand why this wasn't properly diagnosed in the first place. A professional appliance company should be able to accurately identify the root cause before charging customers hundreds of dollars for unnecessary repairs. I feel like I paid a significant amount of money without getting the problem resolved, and now I'm being asked to spend even more to fix what should have been correctly identified from the beginning. Very frustrating experience, and I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. read more

Paid for repair on my refrigerator that did not fix the issue. Could not get them to correctly diagnose, even though the code flat out said Freezer Fan. I dont know what the tech did but he didnt fix it. I reached out multiple times afterwards with same code and they sent me "reports" from my fridge supposedly, that said nothing about the code, blaming me for leaving the door open too long or something. I called someone else and guess what, after correctly diagnosing the issue, they replaced the freezer fan and we haven't had the code pop up again in over 1 month. Although these guys did communicate, they did cost me time and money and misdiagnosed the problem. I would NOT recommend. Respond time was good all was good and the charge was 185 for setting the system and analysis. The guy did say it seems to be working again come feel it's cool again. If it fails again it could be the thermostat being too old and replaced. Having heart that like ok problem solved 185 no problem. 3 days later frig is warm. Called back and report they left me hanging units I have to reach backs out twice to find out no parts while my food is totallly rotten and had to w out the frig out. Update 1-17-2025 We originally went with ProTech because of the yelp reviews, and now I am mind-blown not only by their incompetence to fix the issue, but also their customer service. I want to leave an honest review here for all potential customers to hopefully save y'all some headaches. I posted my original review Monday afternoon, and within 5 minutes my husband told me the business contacted him to remove my review. Fast forward to today, he said the business reached out again for us to remove the review. Out of best mutual interest, he suggested to the business that I should remove the review if they agree to get us a full refund (they did do a partial refund for their labor cost, but again, for over two months, especially during the holidays, where our renters can't use the oven, and we trusted ProTech enough to have them come out 3 times but ended up getting nothing fixed, calling out that our renters don't know how to properly use an oven, leaving us with a bunch of cost on parts, it is a lot for everyone to deal with). Granted there are setbacks, granted they might have been successful for other clients, but what we've been through over the past two months was, seriously, too much. I'm updating this review today, because when we offered a remediation (remove review and get a full refund), was deemed as a "blackmail". This truly leaves me speechless. With or without a review, I believe every customer that went through what we did, should get a full refund. Contacted this company in regard to my refrigerator making a weird humming noise. I searched all over google and after no DYI tips worked I inquired regarding a consult. The response was very fast and they were able to schedule someone to come out the next day! A person named Baz came and diagnosed the issue being a fan that was no longer functioning properly. By the end of day, I was texted with a link to an invoice of how much the fan would be as well as the cost for repair. After I approved this, the next day he was able to come out and repair the fan. Baz was extremely patient as he had to take apart various parts of the fridge to find the issue. He did not become flustered, rushed, or make me feel like I was inconveniencing him with my questions. We just had Baz out to service our gas dryer heater. He was amazing, on time, showed me everything that was going on in my heater and also sent me pictures via text. My dryer needed a good maintenance to clean out the years of lint found inside. Also lubricated all parts as my belt was starting to show signs of melting from the heat being generated back into the dryer from obstructed venting. We first called ProTech for an outage on our gas stovetop burner. Baz responded and did an assessment. We needed a new part which the company ordered. We were very satisfied with the replacement and to have our stovetop fully operational again. I asked if they also cleaned dryer vents. They do and I made an appointment for that service. They came out the next day. We had lived in our house for 7 years. During that time the dryer accumulated a huge amount of lint which would have the potential for a fire under the right circumstances. Please be cautious with this company. I initiated a repair request of my refrigerator with them on 9/30/2024. They promptly dispatched a technician and after diagnosing the issue and I was told parts would be in within 3 days. I then waited 10 days for the parts to arrive. On 10/9/2024 the technician installed new parts and the appliance functioned properly. On 11/23/2024 I noticed the refrigerator making the same noise as before the repair and freezing up. This is an older unit that has seen 14 years off good service. After returning from the holiday I contacted the company to diagnose the issue on 12/2/24. This was 54 days after the repairs were completed. The company representative states that they only warranty repairs for 30 days. Clearly this was a defective part or faulty installation seeing as the unit worked flawlessly for 14 years. Charging ANOTHER service fee to come out and inspect the appliance is lousy practice. read more
