    After spending several hundred dollars on an expensive older refrigerator with nothing being fixed…read moreby another company, I tried ED Service a couple of years later and was immediately impressed with the professionalism of their repairman Nick, his knowledge and his skills. He quickly identified the real problem and assured us we did NOT have to defrost the whole frig for several days in order to see if it would work properly. He and his company were very responsive about timing, and took full responsibility for needing to come back after finding during the first visit that a part would have to be ordered. Pricing was very fair even before that, but not charging for the trip or labor for the second visit was truly impressive. I should add that the part was ordered immediately and installed on the next business day. I am delighted to have everything fixed after two years and will call ED for any future needs and ask for Nick if he is available.

I was in…read moreneed of someone to fix our washing machine, but when I came across ED Services site and reviews I figured I would ask if they could look at my dryer and electric stove top too. I was so kindly greeted on the phone, clearly told what the price for a visit would be and an appointment was made same day. Washing Machine: Nick ran all the error codes on my washer to figure out what the problem was and discovered it was simply a leaky door seal. His honesty was refreshing. Dryer: I was worried the lint was incredibly backed up and needed to be cleared. Also our vent hose had come off and needed to be re-attached. Again, with quick precision Nick completely dis-asembled our dryer, vacuuming out the dust, dirt and debri that had collected inside. He washed and dried the drum and re-attached the hose. He cleaned the entire vent hose and inside of the dryer free from lint. Electric Stove Top: a year or so ago two of the burners stopped working. We figured with the stovetop being 25 years old it had just gotten old. Nick inspected the entire system and discovered the two burners had gone out because a short had occurred and burned up where the electric chord connects to the control panel. Because of the age of our stove top he said he and his office would try and track down a replacement control panel and once they did they would reach out to let us know. I was so impressed by the honesty and hard work ED Services offered. His patience and friendliness also put me at ease. We will absolutely be calling them out again for any other appliance issues, should they arise.

    They were fast and showed up the same day to look at my Samsung oven/range with a $69 diagnostics…read morefee to come out. The oven was not heating up all the way. When the technician showed up to look at the oven all he did was push a rest button and charged $220. Guess that's better then a new oven/range but seems very high to just push a button with no physical work other ten to take the back panel off. Update less then 3 hours later...not working again. I called them and found out that they don't have technicians working for them they just send another company instead. So use someone else and deal directly with a company that has their own technicians.

    Avoid! I called Wylie Appliance Repair because my Samsung front-load washer wasn't draining…read moreproperly. The below timeline began September 17, 2018 and was based on a single work order: Visit 1: We paid $350+ for Wylie Appliance Repair to replace the pump. This did not fix the issue - washer still would not drain. Company was called to come back out. Visit 2: Technician returned and disassembled the machine. Technician found a sock stuck and impeding water flow. Sock was removed and machine reassembled. Visit 3: Wylie Appliance Repair called again because drum was now not rotating properly. This was not an issue prior to Wylie Appliance Repair disassembling the machine. Technician Ruben scheduled for 9-11 AM time slot, did not show up. When we called his supervisor Robert, we were told Ruben had car trouble and would need to reschedule. Visit 4: Technician disassembled machine again but said he could not fix the issue without disassembling the drum because something was dislodged between the exterior and interior of the drum. Technician said we would need to contact his superior to setup a new appointment. I called and spoke to the supervisor on October 3, who told me he would be at my house Friday, October 5 between 1-2 PM. Visit 5 (supposed to be October 5, 2018): Supervisor Robert calls at 12:42 and leaves voicemail for me to return his call. I call back at 12:45 and get voicemail. I call again at 12:47 and leave a voicemail message. Supervisor does not return phone call. I called the main phone number/dispatch, who calls supervisor Robert, who tells dispatch he had to move onto another appointment because I was unavailable. Dispatch and customer service people are friendly. Technicians are even friendly. Just a terrible experience on the actual service side.
