He gave me several options for blouse styles, and was very accommodating to all of my concerns about fit.

Marina works so quickly and efficiently that starting 3 months was actually a bit early- 2 months would have been sufficient for me. The first fitting appointment was a bit of a whirlwind so it helped to have additional set of eyes as well as pre-meditation of what I wanted. After the initial alterations, there was only one additional minor alteration needed for my wedding dress. She did an excellent job fixing up the beading, with the overall fit, bustle, and changing the lining, and her prices were more than fair. I did have to ask to try on my dress after the 2nd round of alterations, as that was not part of their usual process. Marina holds onto the wedding dress and steams it right before you pick it up, which should be closer to your wedding day, so plan accordingly. I took my reception dress home after the first alterations, but after practicing for our first dance, I decided I wanted some additional security to keep the strapless dress up. I brought it back to Marina, who easily added an elastic band and clasp to the inside, and I was able to dance away comfortably on my wedding night.

Marina tailored my wedding dress (very big dress, not easy). My mom, sister-in-law, and I also purchased 3 of Marina's custom handmade gowns. The detail, fabric quality, and silhouette is simply incredible. Marina isn't just an alterations master. She is truly an artist in dressmaking. I spent COUNTLESS hours pouring over online stores, buying, then returning at least 10 dresses. I almost gave up all hope until I found Le Caprice. In literally a second, my mom and I both found our perfect dresses on display. I cannot say enough good things about Marina & her wonderful team. Thank you so much for making our weddings so special.

I have no idea what went wrong during the cleaning process. The other blouse came back with very obvious color shading and discoloration. What made the experience even worse was that the staff showed no apology or responsibility for the damage at all. Very unprofessional service. I would strongly recommend avoiding this store.

Helping me to save money! However, when I did come to pick up my other dress that I did leave for them to alter, they didn't do much. They stitched 4 stitches per black cup onto my white dress. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that using black cups on white material means it can show easily through the dress. 4 stitches means those stitches can get undone easily, things can get caught underneath, and it can tear far too easily. I paid $45 for shoddy work and didn't feel like getting charged more. I cannot recommend this place because the quality of work is simply too low to justify paying for it. The only good thing about this place: They are responsive over the phone. Parking isn't too hard to find but it is a little hidden so keep that in mind. Edit: still comfortable with this review though appreciate the reminder there was taking in the sides. However, I was not offered a different cup color and the work is still, not great for the cup.

I've been coming here for nearly 20 years. Kim usually does decent work but a few recent…read moreexperiences have me questioning her integrity. I've brought in plenty of pants for tapering, shortening, taking in the waist, etc. Last winter I brought in pants that were off the rack and a little long with a 32 length. As usual, I tried them on with shoes and Kim helped measured the length to shorten and I picked them up a week later. Super quick process. I didn't try them on at pickup since I had a lot of work done by her previously so I had no reason to doubt her work. Unfortunately I went 3 months without wearing them but when I did, they were still far too long so I had to bring them in again. I explained the situation and when she examined the pants, she told me it was still the factory stitching so there wasn't any work done by her or any other tailor. I was surprised by that, and that she didn't recognize her own work. I assured her I brought them in just a few months prior. When she remeasured the length, she marked to pants to shorten another 1 1/8 in. She said that she always cuts the length requested by customers and so it was my fault and had to pay again for work on the pants. I have all my pants around 29 inseam so this obviously was not accurate and rather annoying she tried to blame me for the incorrect length since she was the one who previously measured. I needed them done so I went ahead. I didn't want to leave a review about this but the following experience was embarrassing and needed to share. I recommended her shop to a friend who needed to shorten the length of 2 curtains but had a horrible experience. At pickup, Kim casually mentioned that 1 of the curtains were already damaged at drop-off and that she decided to do a free patching for the damage. My friend was not notified of any damage prior to pickup, and furious there wasn't any sort of communication. She couldn't even return the "already damaged" curtains because of Kim's unilateral decision to patch the hole. I felt responsible so I sent my friend $600 to cover the cost of curtains. If there was truly damage already, why wouldn't you inform the customer first to decide options?! This used to be my go to tailor but it's now on my blacklist.
