I Placed an order online for pick-up tonight. I got home and opened my order only to realize that my appetizer was missing. I called the restaurant and was told I couldn't get a refund because the manager wasn't there. He told me to call back tomorrow....What?! That's unacceptable!!!!! I then see that they were recently shut down on 1/29 for 2 days due to a roach infestation. Inspectors found over 30 live roaches, including on dishwashers and under food-cooling racks, along with dozens of dead roaches and improper food handling!!! Wanted to try something different for lunch. I normally pass by and always see someone eating in the window so I decided to finally check them out for myself. Busy during lunch hours but still kind service. I just scanned the menu and ordered the first thing my eyes did a double take on - famous falafel bowl. I order, pay, then walk out to check out the rest of the plaza. I return in just under 10 minutes and food is wrapped up for me to go. Service wasn't necessarily friendly but efficient for the lunch crowd. I wish I had checked food at the restaurant. The short drive back to work has my smelling like garlic- great sign. As soon as I open the container I'm overwhelmed by the amount of food and underwhelmed that it overcooked/nearly burnt. The bowl is meh. (I should have chosen the salad option.) I don't go here as often as I should. But every time I go, I am pleased with my meal. The flavors and portion sizes are always excellent. Actually, the portion is large enough that I have leftovers, which means a great lunch the next day. There are both indoor and outdoor dining options. This is a somewhat typical strip center walk in place; no reservations required, it's casual, and easy going. Service is always quick, I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes. This small restaurant has delicious food! Their Gyros are absolutely great. We have been here numerous times. I have had the chicken gyro and the lamb& beef gyro. This time, I ordered the lamb and beef gyro with a side of French fries Greek style. So delicious! The portions are very large and leave you very full. I would give it 5 stars but the inside of the dining area is small and the beverage station could be cleaner. We always sit outside for this reason which is a great alternative for us. The service here was excellent. We were greeted by the friendly and smiling cashier as soon as we entered. The cook staff were cordial as well, though obviously very busy preparing food. The food was good overall. My wife had a salad with chicken that was very tasty. I had a falafel gyro, and the falafel didn't have much flavor but the gyro was otherwise very good. The hummus had good flavor but the texture wasn't as smooth as I would have liked. While the food wasn't quite as good as I had hoped, the service provided a great experience. I do have to say the Gyro bowl was very very good, but the Greek fries were cold when they arrived at my hotel and the floor dips were not good at all. The tzatziki is more like sour cream. There is no deal or flavor or cucumber in it whatsoever it's just very smooth Greek yogurt, more or less I will not order from there again unless it's just the Gyro bowl, but I would not rate it very highly. I did not eat any of the four dips nor did I eat any of the Greek fries after the first couple of bites and the extra tzatziki that I ordered will stay in the trash. The pita bread and hummus. Hummus like bean flavored malto-meal with an olive on top. Worse hummus I've ever had. Bread too chewy. Potatoes were like floating in a vinegar like broth , like pickled potatoes. Same with chicken soup, like too sour, there was way too much lemon I guess but it tasted like vinegar. Greek Not having access to Greek for a few years in my last home location, I almost (gasp) forgot about the entire genre of food they have. Spotted Mr. Gyro from the road and wheeled the truck over and headed in. After looking at the pretty extensive menu of goods to order, (all of your favorites are represented), I went with the tried and true lamb / beef gyro. To me, if a Greek place screws that up, you might as well pack your skiní and head home. My order came with fries and I got a drink to wash it all down. The place is setup more or less like a fast food joint- you place your order with the "couldn't-care-less" girl at the register and get your cup to fill up at the self-service soda fountain. The order is made fresh at least and came out piping hot.  The fries were perfectly done, and the gyro was pretty darn good - tzatziki was good enough - you knew it was there, but could have had a little more kick; all in all a very decent gyro.  You should be able to smell that stuff six hours later - that is some potent tzatziki. While waiting for the order, I had a look around the place.   Walls are adorned with typical Greek scenes and articles about the place and the owners.  Outdoor seating area is pretty good sized - the place sits on the corner of a shopping center so there is more room than typical out front. There does not seem to be table service available- you toss your own trash on the way out - might be different in the later hours but have only been there around lunchtime. Give it a shot!  Opa! Quite simply, this restaurant is filthy, dirty. The bathroom doesn't work. The floors are sticky and the refrigeration in the front of the restaurant is broken. The help does not give a crap about anything. Food is marginal at best. The store is about 40 years old by appearance and has never been washed. Stay away. read more

Me. Gyros is one of our go to places for eat in or take out lunch. We got take out on this visit and ate out side under the covered walkway. The share the large salad withe lamb meat on top. The food is good and the large salad is plenary to share. I had a fountain drink that comes with free refills and Sara drank water. Over all it's a good place. Pretty clean and friendly workers. I do have a problem with the quantity of salad dressing and Tazikie sauce given with an order. If you needed more there is an up charge. Come on y'all. Give enough to enjoy the food. read more

Let me start off with this: THEY MAKE THEIR OWN TAHINI!! I ordered my usual fav: Falafel, Hummus, Salad. I did order a side of Lemon Potatoes also because, after seeing the fotos in Yelp,how could I resist??! Been frequenting the area for several months and even have driven past it but since it's so close to a stop sign-intersection I hadn't noticed it's right there. Staff was very welcoming and cordial throughout! They seem to have several frequenters ~ and that's ALWAYS a good sign. Placed my order and it was promptly provided. First the Lemon Potatoes, meanwhile the Falafels were made fresh. The Lemon Potatoes are tender and flavorful, and a slightly tangy complement to a Mediterranean meal. The Hummus was creamy with a hint of texture, flavorful and a generous portion. The Pita was provided warm, in manageable pieces and wrapped up in wax paper to keep the temperature. The Falafel... Oooh these guys won me over. They were large enough to basically cut into 4, crunchy on the outside and a good texture on the inside- you can actually see the ingredients: chickpeas are king! I was pretty full come half the portion but it was so good- how to resist??! The Tahini.................. seriously. It tasted different. But in a great way! When an employee was walking past, I just couldn't resist inquiring on the Tahini because it had such a *distinct* flavor. My palate picked up a hint of honey along with the Tahini, not sure if it was an ingredient or what but it just stands out with the food.
