The owner (Mr. William Cantu), his wife, a coworker and I ate lunch last Thursday and the food was very good. I ordered The Texas Hamburger, of course and the burger was excellent! The meat was fresh and not too thick and the fried onion rings were the best, good and crunchy. I must point out to the fountain drink - Coca-Cola! It had to be real Coca-Cola because the fizz was just right and the ingredient for the Coca-Cola was not watered down, I would visit The Texas Hamburger Company for the Coca-Cola alone! The restaurant is very nicely decorated with nostalgic items, a piano, a sewing machine, a weight scale, and a Gramophone of all relics! The service was fast and not just because I was a guest of the owner! The layout is family style, comfortable and there is an upstairs area for special events, etc. There are also TV's for viewing entertainment. I truly loved The Texas Hamburger and would visit again. My coworker ordered the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with extra meat and that sandwich was enough to feed 3 people, packed with meat. The owner, Mr. Cantu and his wife ordered fish and the fish appeared great, not fish squares but authentic fish fillets. The menu above the order station needs more light, it is hard to see all menu items and that paper menu given to the customer needs to be updated, displayed in an official restaurant style vs. on paper covered in plastic. Overall, I would dine at The Texas Hamburger Company again. Lovely place! Location was decorated and sent me back to 1990s, with very interesting signs and a really cool giant skeleton. Overall, ambiance made it a great visit already. The service was also great with very customizable menu. Loved the food we got, with ample serving size with large portions on sizes. The hatch chili burger and fresanada was 10/10! Loved the flavor and portions on both. Mangonada was a 8/10 just due to there being a little too much tajin and chamoy. Chicken fried steak was only ok, 6/10, very thin, and not the best flavor. Definitely enjoyed my visit to the hamburger company. We came at 11:30 am and it was already busy so come early. Had to wait in line to get my burger order. Food also took a while to receive. Plan accordingly. Everything is made fresh to order. I got the junior cheeseburger with fries. The burger had a good flavor but the fries were not seasoned. They were plain and while you can add salt, the salt just slips off. Please season your fries. The restaurant was so smoky that by the end of the visit, we all smelled of grease. Please get better ventilation. The restaurant felt a bit grimy. Overall food was good but there's a few things to work on. Prices are reasonable and everyday has a different special. Door Dash Review: An excellent burger. I usually get the mushroom Swiss burger with the onion rings. My sister is also really picky about her burgers and she loves it when we order from this spot. The jalapeño poppers could be a little spicier, but they're still enjoyable. The onion rings are where this place shines, though. The fries can be a tad salty, but they never miss with the onion rings. Battered and fried to crispy perfection. You can tell these are always made fresh. I thought their burgers were good but it was kind of pricey. The portions are pretty big and comes with a side of fries which I thought was ok, they could be a little crispier and saltier. The burgers are huge and I was able to save some of it for dinner. read more

This was my first time trying Texas Hamburger Company and I was pleasantly surprised. When you walk in, you have to order at the counter with a server. I got the 2 piece catfish plate and a burger. The fish held together well and was fairly seasoned. I like that the plate comes with a side salad. Their tartar sauce tastes homemade and it was delicious! The burger was seasoned well. Came here on a Wednesday afternoon with my mother in law. She recommended this place. It's very old style and dark inside, seems like it's been here for a while. It was quiet and not busy at all. TLDR: I only had the Philly Cheesesteak, but I'd come back to try the burgers... Finally visited the THC after passing it multiple times. Parking was easy, service was decently friendly and prompt. The interior's dark and drafty, though that wouldn't be a bad thing on a hot summer day. Unfortunately not the cleanest establishment, I came in 15 minutes after opening and saw a couple booths that hadn't been bussed yet, hopefully they weren't from last night. :-( The cheesesteak and fries came out nice and hot, the way I like it. Cheesesteak itself really isn't Philly style (wrong bread and type of meat) but it was piping hot and went down easy. So I'll probably be back to try the burgers! One of the best cheeseburgers I have ever eaten. The ordering was a little slow as the clerk was on the phone presumably taken another order. Our meals came out quickly in spite of being during the lunch hour. The tables are too close together. You must move around other diners to get to your table. Once you pay, you may come around towards the other side of the restaurant to grab your drinks, plastic ware, lids, and drink covers. *Tip* Try your drink (soda/tea/lemonade ) before you leave to make sure it's to your liking. Otherwise, they have alcoholic beverages located by cashier. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but when we got to our destination with our to go order, I realized that I probably should've grabbed a to go box/plate for my order. The hotdog comes with the condiment(s) of your choice, if any, packed in a hotdog bag which kept it warm. My shredded cheese and chili sauce came in their own separate styrofoam containers. The tots and fries were half orders but a decent serving size that was uniquely wrapped. Now... They call this a burger joint but man oh man their Philly cheese steak was off the hooook! I've been here a few times before and have had good experiences. Decided to go to lunch here. I got the cheeseburger combo. I asked for 1/2 fries and 1/2 tots. There was an extra charge to do that which I was ok with, but I wish they would've at least told me. The food was very good. They have fresh cut fries that were cooked perfectly and seasoned well.
