This is my new favorite fast food, I work across the street and can get a great full meal in 5 minutes, staff is really friendly as well

I have always loved Mr. Kabob. I am convinced their garlic sauce has Angel dust sprinkled in to make it so delicious you want to rub you face in it. The new Mr. Kabob Xrpess takes gas station food to a whole different level. When you walk in, you can get all your Kabob-y favorites mixed together in a bowl or wrap. It's like a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure-Book of wonderment for your mouth. There are tons of yummy offerings, and the dude behind the counter talked me through making them delicious together. The result was an amazing mix of rice, steak, hummus, pickles, cucumber salad, and GARLIC. (Breaks into happy dance thinking about it). My hubby tried the Falafel in his concoction and they were also fabulous. I was also impressed that for being pretty new, they seemed to have it together. We will certainly be back soon! read more

Oh, yum. I wish I lived closer, but then again, I'm glad I don't because I'd be there three times a week. Mr. Kabob has been my favorite Mediterranean takeout spot for a while now, but this was even better! As long as you are comfortable with build your own style of ordering and like a variety of foods, this place is fantastic. Fresh, healthy, simple, convenient. Great place to go when you don't want to eat heavy, unhealthy food. You're able to choose the combinations of fresh vegetables, hummus, protein, toppings. Very different concept than the restaurant in Southfield or gas station location in Berkley, but it works. The food is still great, consistent, and fresh. read more

The setup reminds me of Chipotle. You choose your protein, sauce, and toppings. All fresh ingredients. I tried the chicken kabob bowl, with roasted veggies and a crap load of tasty toppings. Mr kabob express is my daily lunch from the office. More than likely I bring coworkers from the office to try it and it's amazing!! I've been driving from Rochester hills to Berkeley and when I heard there was one in Troy, I jumped for joy!! Food is amazing. When I walk in, I'm greeted by the amazing workers who work there and it's like a chipotle style build-your-own. Not in the mood to make your own?? No problem, they can make you the original chicken or steak sandwich from the original location. Atmosphere was clean and very well. It's great for lunch, especially because my work office is 5 mins away Overall 6/5 stars! Just amazing!! I would recommend everyone to go to mr kabob. If you're looking for incredibly delicious, FRESH, healthy food, this is the place to go! I stumbled upon the restaurant a few weeks ago and had to sample a few different things. It's a build your own concept (similar to Chipotle), but better! The food is fresh and the employees are so friendly. I can't say enough good things about this place. My lunch was so delicious, i decided to use them to cater a family party and it was a huge hit. The pricing was great and they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied! They are now my GO TO for all catering events! Everyone at the party was very impressed with the quality of their food. Must TRY - Chicken kabob!! I was not familiar with Mr. Kabob's restaurants when I first went a few months ago. It was intimidating with all the choices (wrap or bowl, multiple spreads and fillings), but after a few visits I have my set thing that I like. I'd describe the assembly of the food as similar to Chipolte, but the ingredients are much better and higher quality food. Everything is fresh and authentic and is in fact tastier to me than some sit-down Middle Eastern restaurants that I have been to. A special touch if you get the wrap is they put it in a hot press contraption for a couple minutes at the end, "to blend the flavors" as my server explained. At any rate, it is delicious, and you feel sated with healthy eating afterward. My particular favorite is the chicken shawarma, and I also don't leave without a piece of baklava, an indulgence, but we all need an occasional treat! read more

By far the best lunch I've had in a while!! I was expecting the "traditional" Mr. Kabob stuff and was surprised when I walked in. At first I was a little bummed at the "build your own" style but once I saw all of the delicious options to put on a wrap my opinion quickly changed! I built the best wrap ever and thoroughly enjoyed every last bite. The wraps are a little more pricy than the traditional Mr. kabob, but considering all of the extra items you can put on them, it's not that expensive! No more expensive than a Chipotle or Qdoba. This place is amazing and the service is first class! There was a foreign customer in front of me who didn't speak great english and wasn't quite sure how to order. The manager personally took care of her, helped her customize her order, and brought her food to her. That's the typical type of service I've seen. What a pleasant change of pace from the tradition sit and eat style restaurant that you would normally find with Mediterranean restaurants. It's a Qdoba/Chipotle style counter serve express, and the food is fantastic. I got a falafel bowl, and all the ingredients were fresh and super tasty.
