I ordered a sandwich from their deli asking for rye bread but when I got to my office it was with slices of doughy bread that feels and tastes like white bread and the salad wasn't that good. I came back all the way to the store an he refused to give me one slice of rye bread that I asked. The turkeys were perfect and the rib roast I ordered were expertly butchered to my chef's exacting specifications. I was impressed with how much selection they had available on the Tuesday before the holiday. The butcher was extremely accommodating despite it being late in the day when I arrived with no pre-order, and they seemed very eager and appreciative to earn my business, which puts them head and shoulders above the very few kosher butchers I have available in Las Vegas. Brent's and Weiler's Deli have nothing to worry about. If your coming here for just a sandwich you should be aware this is not like a Subway. Things move very slowly here. Nice people working here. This business and the owner deserves a zero, but Yelp makes you give at least one star. I was sold a bad Turkey and the owner refused to refund my money because he said the pictures I sent showed I cooked it wrong. I called on Thanksgiving, the day we noticed it bad, and that we didn't have Turkey for Thanksgiving. I told him I had the Turkey, but it took him 3 days to finally get back to me, and by that time I had to throw the Turkey away. He got mad when I did not keep the sick Turkey he sold me. I did not cook it wrong, it was purple and black, regardless of what side the pictures were on. He was rude and arrogant. He texted me that he needed to pray for me as I was looney and that I made stuff up. And that I need prayers. That God will decide who's right and wrong. Wow! In all my years in customer service, when you go to a restaurant or buy a product, and if it did not look good or did not work properly the owner of any company offers to either replace or refund. No questions even asked. The customer is the most important part of their business. This man does not know how to run a business or deal with customers. He's just been lucky that in all his years that he never ever sold a bad piece of poultry or meat, that's just amazing, or a miracle, or no one asked for a refund. Or maybe it was just that I am a woman asking for one. I have never placed a review on yelp before, but to bring God and say he will pray for me in to a conversation that is about a refund, is beyond bad customer service. read more

I was looking for good quality liver. I ended up here based on previous review and the 4.5 stars, so I thought "I hope to find it here" When I came in I was the only customer soul there and during the 10 minutes I was there none came in. They were not friendly but I got the liver I wanted...they gave me a block of liver "it was frozen" but I thought "ok, it's going to be okay, it is Kosher quality" Long story short my dish came with good flavor except for the consistency, the liver was no more and not less than a rubber, unfortunately we had to discard the complete meal. I have been a regular of this place for the last 10 months or so. This is a small kosher market in the corner. They have very good meat and they make the best spicy sausage ever (marguez) . They have imported Israel food from Israel and the authentic snacks that I grew up with as a child. This place is pricy but worth coming by and getting nice personal service. Good work read more

We have tried different Kosher Butcher shops in the area between North Hollywood and Woodland Hills. By far, the best is Mr. Kosher Meat Market. They have a variety of kosher items for the pantry as well as an excellent deli with extremely fresh items and dishes. Their meats are the freshest in any of the meats market we have shop at over the years. The staff is helpful and patient this is the only market that my family and friends now use. read more
