So happy they brought sushi here recently! I've been going to mega glatt for my Shabbat grocery needs for 3+ years. Their ingredients are usually always fresh. Exceptional service especially at the butcher counter and the checkout station. The manager is super nice also, always welcomes me with a smile. Love their array of local baked challahs. Wish it was a bigger supermarket so it can be a one stop local shop but it has grown in the last few years so I'm praying it only continues to grow. Parking in the front and the back and sometimes convenient street parking is available. I never had an issue with the parking despite the size of the parking lot. read more

I purchased boneless chicken thighs from this store. When I opened the package at home, I discovered they were full of tendons, and some pieces even contained small bones. I buy chicken thighs regularly and have never seen so many tendons in a product like this. I returned to the store and politely asked to return the product. Instead of trying to understand the issue or offer a solution, the owner refused. He told me that "people like eating the tendons" and that if I wanted chicken without tendons, I should have bought a different type. I explained that I had no intention of eating all those tendons and that it is unreasonable to expect customers to spend so much time trimming a product sold as boneless chicken thighs. His response was simply: "That's how I sell it." I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--I just wanted to return a product that did not meet my reasonable expectations. Instead, I was met with poor customer service, no accountability, and a complete unwillingness to help. I live just around the corner and have been a loyal customer, shopping there almost every day. After this experience, I will never shop there again, and I cannot recommend this store to anyone. Man, We need more Kosher stores in Orange County. I always find good places when i am in the San Fernando Valley area. Another one here i feel in love with has some of the best Kosher goods and produce. Fruits and Veggies were fresh. Meats are sanitary and fresh. I had to go shopping all the way the hell out here. They are thieves! just witnessed them unpack Costco kosher chicken and put their own label with higher prices. Every time we go to Costco they are sold out of kosher chicken and they tell us someone buys all of them in the mornings.... now I know who is doing this. read more

I happened on this kosher store on accident. I was very surprised to see it as there aren't many kosher options in San Diego. To my surprise, it have a vast range of Israeli products you can't really find outside of Israel. They also had a small assortment of Judaic available and ready to go options. Again, purchased meat and as soon as I got home it smelled real bad. There goes my meat for Shabbat dinner. It happened before and when brought it back to the store the owner was pretty rude about it and the lady at the cashier said this never happens. Well that's a lie because more people purchased bad meat from this place. The meat is so expensive and it hurts that it has to be thrown away. There is no dates on the meat they sell as well which I think is a violation. They need to stop being stingy and get rid of the meat sitting out for too long. Need to care about their customers. This is probably the worst place to shop for kosher food or shop fir anything! My first experience- I bought some meat only to find that it stinking with a bad smell when I drove back to the shop 30 minutes later the owner refused to take it back. My second experience was when I bought a Gondi hummus mix on Friday only to get home to open the package that had foul smell again the owner refused to take it Back! Well there are so many good kosher shops around the neighborhood such as Super Sal, mr Kosher, ventura kosher and many more who would want to shop in this place.... read more

Every once in a while you come across a gem in the SFV. This is one of them. The people are super friendly and very attentive! Kosher food so you have to know that it's super good quality. The manager is really concerned about his customers and goes above and beyond to make sure they are happy. Now for their food! WOW! Tasty, flavorful, juicy! I had the chicken kabob over long grain rice with blackened tomatoes. I devoured every single little bite. I highly recommend it to foodies who are daring enough to try something different. Tried calling this place to see if they have a product that is hard to find in the area (don't want to drive all the way there if they don't carry it). Was first put on hold for 7 minutes. When I called back, I was transferred to someone who didn't seem interested in helping me at all. After I asked if they carried a certain product (by name), he said "I don't know." So I asked if he would please go check. "Uh, no." It's pretty sad that vegan foods are so hard to find in LA that stores like this are able to stay in business, even with horrible customer service. read more

I printed a recipe from the Internet for Kosher Chicken Tamales and brought it into the Mega Glatt Mart. I asked the owner, whose name is Joseph, to have his cooks/chefs make the Tamales. I ordered one dozen of them. Joseph called me approximately two weeks ago to pick them up. I picked them up and brought them home. They were so spicy I was completely unable to eat any of them and had to throw them in the garbage. I immediately called Mega Glatt and asked to speak with Joseph. I explained to Joseph the tamales could not be eaten. He replied: "I did you a favor and I had to hire someone else to make them for you. I will not give you a credit for the money you paid to me or give you any credit." read more

I am very happy I stumbled across this market. They have fresh produce and a great kosher and fresh meat selection along with fruits fishes chicken and other options. We bought very fresh fruits from them at a great price. Conveniently located in the valley with easy parking in the shopping center! Very clean market (big plus) it's not over crowded and it's easy to find what you're looking for. I LOVE their poultry as well!! We buy all our kosher meat and sea food from here. Very very fresh and prices very well. I highly recommend them for good quality selection of meat! Bonus- I usually go to Faraj or another spot on pick to get fresh made kabab on Sundays but I saw they also make fresh kabab in their market. I love this market! It's very clean, well organized, and fairly priced. All of the employees are fantastic. Everyone always has such a nice demeanor and will ask if you need help finding things. They have fresh meats and vegetables - I always come here for produce first because it's such good quality and competitively priced. An amazing Glatt kosher market with helpful staff, freshest produce, meats, poultry, and sea foods. They have an original authentic Persian bread (sangak) which is not even comparable to other sangak places in los angels. They also make take out foods and catering which I should and will highly recommend for others to try. The food is amazingly made by freshest ingredients and high quality. Helpful and friendly staff is ready to take orders without any lines or aggravation and plenty of fresh pre-packaged meat is available for purchase. They also make tasty kabab on the spot that you can pre-order and just pick up without any wait time. My usual place (no names) has a 20+ minute wait time for your turn and takes another 20+ minutes to prepare the meat while all the carts are bumping into you and you're almost in tears.
