In the kitchen the floor did need to be pulled up and replaced with new oak because they were such a different (ugly) style. it now matches the rest of the floors which are original to the house. The stair treads were also completely refinished as well as three bedrooms upstairs. When I first inquired about an estimate, the owner of the company promptly got back to me and set an appointment. I was given a written estimate that day which I felt was a very reasonable price for that much work. He is very knowledgeable about both new and old floors and we felt very comfortable in choosing him. Once they started on the floors they showed up every weekday to work on them without fail. When everything was sanded they put a number of different stains on them for us to pick from. Everyone on his crew are very professional. They always made sure we knew what the schedule was for the day and when we could walk on the different areas of the house. They took our very, very old oak floors and restored them to looking so much nicer than I could have imagined. We will definitely be using them in the future, they do gorgeous work.

We had vinyl floors and carpet installed in our home a few years back by them. Their contractors…read morewere bad and so was their customer service. As soon as they got paid, their tone changed. They became very hard to work with as far as getting them to fix the issues that their FIRST set of contractors created. I don't even know where to start. Their contractor hit my mailbox and didn't tell me. I knew it was them because when they came back I put the broken piece back in their tail light and it was a perfect fit. Then, when they finished the floors were uneven and they were separating when you walked on them. The baseboards were coming off of the walls among other things. The manager was rude to my wife and said we had to pay to have the floor leveled. We were told they would level it. Then after weeks of fighting, they sent a different set of contractors to our house to do it the right way. The new contractors found stacks of debris under the floor that was causing it to be uneven. Fast forward a few years. The floors have come apart in several places and it looks terrible. I'm paying a private contractor to do it the right way because I won't let their lack-luster contractors anywhere near my house. I guess the carpet they layer was nice, but to be honest Lowe's does a equally good of a job and the contractors are way nicer plus the job is cheaper. This place whomps, go somewhere else.

The samples which I did not know at the time where placed on a thick backing and not actually the depth of the actual flooring. When it came in I told him immediately that this was not what he showed me. I wanted to return it. He started yelling and cursing at me. My contractor told him (after I had ordered) that he had over ordered. Jagdish berated him and told him he did not know what he was talking about. I tried to reason with him, my contractor tried and all we got was cussed out, called names, said we were liars and told WE COULD NOT RETURN THE FLOORING. HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WONDERFUL AS LONG AS YOU ARE SPENDING YOUR MONEY. HE DOES NOT TAKE IT WELL WHEN YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED. He threw things off his desk, yelled, cussed and kept saying WTF do we expect him to do! STAY AWAY!! I would have given him minus stars if I could have! :(

Matt even suggested using an epoxy grout to help protect it against wet puppy paws. Matt was on time with his estimated project completion and his communication throughout the process was really great.
