I met a friend here for lunch yesterday and we both had a really good time eating here. It wasn't without a few things that could have been better, but overall, a decent experience. They have patio seating by the fountain which is dog friendly, so we sat here since she brought her dog Morris with us. One of the downsides of eating here is the patio is overrun with bees. The hostess warned us and it was kind of bad. It made the experience less fun, and I think they need to address the situation somehow. There was also a lot of bees by the dirty dish area where the servers clear your plate. Kind of a turnoff. The menu has enough of a selection that you can find what you're looking for here. I went with the 2 birria taco meal with a choice of side, so I chose rice and beans. They also have a 3 taco option with no side, but I wasn't feeling the third taco. Total price was $16 and change before tip. Not bad. The other thing, was our server on the patio wasn't the quickest. Even though we didn't mind at first, it started to bother us at the end because we were getting tired of the heat and bills, and we had to go inside not once but twice to ask for him to come to our table. Maybe if we had sat inside it would've been quicker, but it really dragged the meal out. I forgot that this place used to be a Max & Erma's back in the day. Not sure what happened to that place, but at one point in my life it really was a fun place to go. I guess not anymore since most if not all locations have closed. Such is life I guess. Tried for the first time. This place wasn't good or bad. Definitely tastier options closer to where we live. My hubby and I shared the 2 taco meal that comes with a side and we chose rice and beans. You can't mix and match your tacos so if you want ground beef they are both ground beef. If you want puffy tacos they both have to be puffy tacos. So we got the Americana which is soft shell with ground beef. The beef was seasoned well and just on the verge of being too salty. Rice and beans were yummy. We were given a large basket of chips with 2 salsa cups. No explanation of the salsas so I was the taste tester. They were different but neither one was spicy. Also the chips weee a little greasy and they had some sort of seasoning over the top instead of just plain. I prefer just salt on my chips. We looked at the menus and the costs to me were high for Mexican food. It didn't seem like a high end restaurant so the prices were too high for us. But maybe that's just the sign of the times. Will we be back probably not we have a couple great places near us and I don't see us going out of our way to eat here again. read more

A group of us checked out Mr Miguel's on a Friday evening, we sat at the bar and we warmly greeted by several staff from behind the bar. Quickly ordered drinks and went through several baskets of chips and salsa/ queso. The portions were huge and the food was delicious. I ordered steak fajitas no cheese and they came out as shrimp. They fixed it right away. Steak came out with cheese. I would say its ok but pricey for how it tastes. My kids tortillas were soggy. Just an ok place and def not authentic imo as a Mexican. read more

This is a new restaurant located at Partridge Creek mall by the back side of the mall. We stopped here after one of the free summer concerts and the place was packed! We got seated immediately and the waitress brought our drinks very quickly. You do get free chips and salsa. They have a mild sauce made at the restaurant but for the hot sauce they give you a selection of bottles that are sold at stores. The menu had good choices and I ended up choosing a burrito bowl with grilled chicken. It was called the spicy inferno and it had plenty of jalapeños but I wouldn't say it was over the top spicy. It was very good and very cheesy. I ended up bringing half home. My friend got the wet burrito and it was huge. He said it was loaded with rice and beans and he got the beef version. TLDR: While the restaurant serves decent food, it would be difficult to call it authentic in any way. The restaurant was clean and the service was incredibly attentive. For my lunch, I ordered the Birria Street Tacos. The meal started with salsa and chips on the house. The chips were freshly fried and seasoned with a good amount of pepper. The salsa was fine, but the chips made the combination very addicting. The main meal unfortunately was disappointing. The consomé tasted a lot like meat, but it didn't have the deep flavor that birria usually produces. It tasted closer to a beef broth than anything else and lacked flavors from dried chilies and other spices. This was already telling from how lightly colored the consomé was, which usually is a dark red. The green salsa that came with the tacos was fine as well. All in all, despite the lack of authenticity, the food served as a fine meal. read more

Ordered a carry out, picked it up, when I got Home I noticed my order was made incorrectly and the birria pizza I received looked like someone held it sideways, & if it was delivered by a delivery service I would understand however I picked it up myself and carried it properly, the meat inside the pizza was cold and the cheese was melted so I'm not sure how They managed the cold meat inside a warm pizza... very disappointed. When I called to resolve the issue I spent 15 minutes on hold for them to get a manager to come to the phone, who told me they can refund me cash or remake the order which both included me to come out to them again which was quite inconvenient, when asked to refund money to my card they said it was not possible which they have done before in the past. read more

This a very strangely shaped restaurant. I think no matter where you sit, it seems like an awkward spot. It was very loud, but that could be due to the very loud guy sitting near us (who basically shouted the whole time about the fact that his adult child has no contact with him). The chips and salsa were yummy. Our waitress was attentive and nice. I got a beef chimichanga and added a side of corn casserole. The portions are HUGE. I liked my food. My husband got the shrimp fajitas. He said they were "okay". (Full disclosure, he can be picky). They have Pepsi products, which made my Diet Coke addicted self a little sad, but it happens. One of my favorite parts about this restaurant was there was an awesome walking trail across the street, where we ended up going for a 3 mile walk to walk off all those chips. Checked out this location at Partridge Creek. Very festive vacation atmosphere. The complimentary hot chips and homemade salsa were delicious. I had the spicy inferno bowl which was huge and fantastic. The grilled chicken was juicy and tender and the fresh jalapeños took it over the top. So got to the hostess and saw all these people waiting for seats. Looked around the place and half of the tables were open. Asked if we can get a high top, which there were many open, and they said we can put you in a waiting list. My wife and I looked at each other bewildered, but we said ok. A bit later we asked about getting one of the many open tables and they said we have reservations waiting. Mind you, half the place was open, but ok. Overrated Commercial GFS type food. Sorry, when you order Steak Fajitas they should come out on a hot iron skillet not dumped barely warm on plate? Looks like they came out of a steam bag of pre-mixed meat, peppers and onions, and dumped on a plate. No good authentic Mexican chicken dishes on the menu to choose from, menu hard to understand what actually comes with the entrees. Loud music like you are in a "Sports Bar", nothing Mexican about the music that's for sure! Just another overrated mall restaurant. Service was good, place was not crowded at 5:00 p.m. Partridge Creek is a high rent district so the alure I assume is the fact you can get what they call Mexican food in a mall. Service was excellent Alexa was our server. However the food was underwhelming. I had the enchiladas with chicken and it was very dry. Also I think the 4 strands of cheese was almost non existent. Also the tortillas were so hard like they weren't baked. The guacamole and salsa were very good. I was here previously and it was wonderful. Went to the hostess to get my name down, despite standing at the front she ignored me and talked to two other people that came in after me. Eventually she put my name down, said it was a half-hour wait. So we waited, never got our text. After waiting 45 minutes, went in and asked, she said we missed our chance and that we received a text. We most certainly did NOT and I showed her. She said she could put us back in the queue. Excellent customer service, really big portions. I ordered the gluten free Chicken fajita bowl. I could easily get three big meals out of this. My waitress Kayla D was helpful with my questions to find the gluten free menu items. There were quite a few to choose from. The restaurant was clean, the staff friendly and welcoming. The prices were better than most restaurants. The portion you get is well worth the price. Most restaurants have downsized portions and increased prices.
