As pictured, red salsa, a green salsa and an orange salsa. The red was a mild spice and acidic. Not my favorite, but good. The green was very interested. Definitely some sweetness here and there, but a good burn going down your gullet. Finally, the orange salsa. For those with spice sensitivity, WATCH OUT!! Personally, I love spicy food, regardless of the side effects the next day. Heart burn, and you know what else... Anyway, I loved those salsas. I am going to call and order salsa so I can just have it at my house!! What can I say? I can be devious. The food. The old ball and chain for Quesabirria. I'll be honest, we were not blown away. The birria broth was good, but far from the best I've had. In addition, the quesadilla was good, I just wish it was dipped in the birria and then cooked. 6/10. It looks really spicy, but it was actually pretty moderate. Beef was tender, shrimp was nice and taught! Chicken was buss. All in all, 7/10. The meal was fairly priced, and my finance and I had a nice evening. As you all painfully know, my lactose intolerance has really been an issue when going out to eat, but this place treated me well. What arrived was a taco salad and as I dug down deeper there was beef in it so I called the waitress over and told her and she went into the back room and when she came back out, she asked if I wanted her to swap it out. So I told her I don't eat beef. My friend got a little hotheaded and said management should check this out. Next thing we know the cook came from the back room and asked what the problem was. We described the situation and again he didn't seem to understand what the problem was. I explained that I ordered the vegetarian taco salad . Now mind you, I didn't have the menu in front of me at this time, but I knew there were three taco salads on the menu and one of them had no beef in it - so that's what I had ordered. She had even repeated it back to me, so I'm not quite sure how she messed up the order so bad. So when my friend was placing his order, he asked how many tacos came with the taco platter. She asked one of the other waitresses and then answered that there were three but then she added if he wanted five tacos, he could get it for eight dollars. He thought that was a pretty good deal so he placed that as an order. she came back out in about 10 minutes and said that she made a mistake and couldn't offer him the five tacos for eight dollars but it was $12.50. I said to him why don't you just get the taco platter and then you'll have the rice and beans with it so he said yeah I think I'll have the taco platter. The waitress then said well I already put in the order for the five tacos. I said well you better go cancel that and tell them you want the taco platter. Then at some point The cook came out of the back room and this was before the whole fiasco with my meal and he tried to get an explanation of what my friend wanted to order. Again we didn't have a menu in front of us so we are trying to do this from memory. We did remember that he wanted the taco platter and for some reason, the cook kept asking which taco platter. So after all the frustration, we got free chips and salsa, but we're never going back there again
