They sell propane, and have a good dump station with a hose, and also have a free tire air pump. The security is much better than many lots, with an 8' solid fence all around, and a passcode required to get thru the gates -- in and out. (There are a few of the outdoor spaces that are muddy in a rainy time, but 95% of them are high and dry. I asked to change spaces due to mud, and the onsite staff was very helpful.)

I also pay a premium for electricity so I can maintain my batteries on my boat and this is the second time the electricity hasn't worked and this time it's been weeks without resolution. I call and leave messages and no one returns the calls, ever!!! This company sucks and they won't talk to their customers. If you ever do talk to someone it is a person somewhere in Asia with no idea what is going on. And they won't give you information about how to talk with the owners. This company sucks!!!

I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with McClain's…read more What should have been an exciting RV purchase turned into an ongoing, frustrating, and completely unacceptable experience. From the beginning, there were serious concerns around transparency. I was upsold on parts that were already installed on the unit--this was later confirmed, and I had to go through the process of getting one of those items refunded. I was also pushed to purchase a solar setup that was already installed on the RV. These are not small oversights--they are major red flags. The most serious issues, however, have been with financing and payments. I was explicitly told that McClain's would be covering initial payments due to delays on their end. Not only did they fail to properly execute those payments, but I later learned from my lender that attempted payments were declined, resulting in my account being placed in a past due status. To prevent further damage, I made the payment myself--only to then be contacted by McClain's attempting to collect from me directly for that same payment. I was also asked to reimburse them for payments they claimed to have made, which, according to my lender, were never successfully processed. On top of that, McClain's failed to properly finalize our financing application, which resulted in additional, unnecessary credit pulls. Our credit was hit again, and our score dropped another 30 points due to an issue entirely on their end. What's most disappointing is that I have now asked--multiple times--for clarification and resolution on why I was being asked to make payments for amounts that were never actually paid, and I have provided proof to support this. I have yet to receive a response. At this point, the lack of accountability is just as concerning as the mistakes themselves. This situation should have been handled immediately and professionally. Instead, I was given no clear communication, no statement, no explanation--just a demand for payment with no runway and no acknowledgment of their errors. They allowed the account to fall past due due to their failure to finalize and process things correctly, and rather than going above and beyond to make it right, they have left me to deal with the consequences. To add to this, my husband is a disabled veteran, and this situation has created completely unnecessary stress and strain that no family should have to deal with--especially over issues that were entirely preventable. This entire experience has been disorganized, stressful, and completely unacceptable. It has required hours of my time to correct mistakes that should never have happened, and it has put my credit at risk due to their lack of accountability and follow-through. At no point should a customer be put in a position where they are cleaning up financial errors made by the dealership. I would never recommend McClain's to anyone. Proceed with extreme caution. If this is how they handle financing and customer accountability, I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before trusting them with a purchase of this size.

Over $10,000 in rodent and mold damage in their climate controlled storage, followed by just short…read moreof 200% to 300% price increases (depending on the size of the unit). 15 to 20 dead rodents in my units, mostly rats. Hundreds of items damaged and destroyed, most of which were new. Rodent droppings and urine on and in hundreds of boxes and items, some which were chewed through in mutiple places. Facility was negligent in responding to rodent problem which went on for months. This was not isolated to certain units, or one area of the building, it was throughout. I spoke to other tenants who also had similar rodent activity and damage, so I don't understand why this is the only review posted. I ended up spending over $100 on baits and traps myself, trying to help control the invasion. Add to that water and mold damage from water seeping up through the floor in several units. Posted in the hopes that others will avoid the regret and expense of storing here. Note: Facility name was recently changed to Keller RV West.

The maintenance and upkeep on this property are trending downward. We like the location and the covered spot, but it is disparaging that the facility is not cared for yet they raise rates every year.
