Omg very very busy restaurant the wait was not long at all it is a huge building Very friendly staff our server was so polite with a huge smile our meal came out super fast The button milk pancakes were well executed fluffy moist and yum super delicious the milk very tasty compare to our milk here in Chicago the ambiance was cute and family friendly with stuff toys for sake very friendly family orientated I would have giving this restaurant 5 stars but something did not agree to my stomach and it was not just me but my other half too

Great breakfast place right in the heart of the Dells. They have all the breakfast classics, and if you're feeling adventurous, you can even get ice cream on your pancakes or waffles! The coffee was great too. I had a cheese omelet with pancakes, and hubby had pancakes with bacon and eggs. Everything came out hot and fresh, and we hardly had to wait after ordering. The restaurant is open, clean, and decorated with photos of some of the original Dells attractions, which gives it a fun nostalgic feel. Friendly service and a great overall breakfast stop when you're in Wisconsin Dells.

Like most places in The Dells, this place is huge! So there's not usually too much of a wait. We were very pleased with the food and service. Our server, Mihai A., showed great command of his serving area. He was even able to pull off a late request to hold the powdered sugar on my husband's pancakes. Kudos to Mihai! Speaking of pancakes, my husband's Pecan Pancakes were first-rate! Huge and thick, they were flavorful and tender. Is it worth driving over an hour to dine here? Survey says, YES!

Lots of seating. Tables are very close to one another. The crepes were good but they don't use fresh strawberries. The espresso was also good and they had decaf too.

Dude heck ya Mr. Pancake. Loved the pancakes, lattes were way too sweet but appreciated that they had something other than just coffee, and the omelette was decent enough. Reminded me of an IHOP. Stop by for breakfast!

So with a name like Mr Pancake I am expecting you to bring some seriously good pancakes out to the table. As it turns out they backed up their name with some great northern style pancakes along with some amazing cheese blintzes. We loved the building, it was open and you didn't feel crowded even though you could sit a large crowd with ease. I don't know if all of there service is as good as what we had, but I have a feeling it is. I definitely recommend this place for a family breakfast while in the Dells.

We were sat at a table and waited 10 mins. No water and we were never greeted by our server so we left.

Service was great. The only complaint we had was the avacado toast was not toasted and regular toast not toasted enough.

I've waited a while to allow the vacation glow to wear off so I can give an honest evaluation of…read morethe restaurant. The best part: The scrambled eggs. Whatever they are doing to get them as thick, creamy and delicious, don't stop. My kids who are avowed egg haters devoured them. The breakfast meats are all top quality. Thick cut bacon, and old style sausage links, both cooked to perfection. The biscuit and gravy is delightful in that way that you can only get by using real ingredients, not from a can. The warm doughnuts are very good, but IMO overrated. They're a cake style that would be mealy once they cooled...not my preference. The ambiance is log cabin shanty with nods to the area's logging past. But honestly by tge time you're seated, you are to frazzled to enjoy it. The bad: The price. When you break it down, it was $90 for four people for breakfast. Ouch! I get it, locally sourced foods, overhead, etc.. but...woah! All in all, we are glad we stopped for the experience. We were saddened to see that the Lumber Jack Show has recently closed. So keep that in mind as you choose your destination.

BUYER BEWARE: GIFT SHOP WARNING Be extremely cautious making…read moreany purchases in the gift shop you're forced to weave through when entering and exiting. We bought our daughter a NeeDoh squishy, and before we even left the parking lot to head back to Chicago, it was already broken. The original cashier was wonderfully sweet and swapped it out without hesitation. Unfortunately, the replacement broke within seconds of normal use in the car. When I went back in for a refund, the cashier understood, but the manager on duty took over and refused to process it. She flat-out refused to give her name (so I'll call her "Karen"), accused my daughter of breaking them by "squeezing too roughly," and claimed they've sold thousands with zero returns. I pointed out that most tourists buy items and immediately drive home, which explains why people don't return. She remained firm, rude, and refused the $8.99 refund. My daughter owns plenty of squishies that last for months--a good manager would recognize a defective batch instead of blaming a child. Unless $9 is coming directly out of her paycheck, there's no excuse for that attitude. RESTAURANT REVIEW As for the food: expect a fairly long line depending on the season and time of day, but once seated, the service is good and the all-you-can-eat food is solid. Just note that kids' pricing is no longer "pay your age"--it's now tiered pricing by age (I've attached a receipt photo for reference). VERDICT: The restaurant itself is definitely worth a stop to eat, but completely skip the gift shop trap. If an item is defective, management won't care and will blame you for it.
