Dropped off my dogs this morning for routine grooming and after picking them up, discovered one of my dogs had hemorrhaging of both his eyes. After researching I found that this could be caused by having too tight of a neck leash restraint during grooming. We were told that my dog was difficult to groom but you had to restrain him to the point that both eyes were hemorrhaging! Shame on you for animal abuse. Please be very aware of coming here or your poor dog will end up like this. I will never be back again. read more

Looked around, asked around about pet grooming, hearing horror storys about dogs getting their ears cut etc. This place was near me, and had some good reviews and pricing was cheaper. Set an appt, for 2 weeks in advanced or whatever day they had open. Price depends on what kind of dog and how much it weighs. My dog had terrible hair, long and tangled due to my sisters neglect. Mr. Pet charged me $55 since she was in "bad" shape fur wise. I liked how the dogs hair came out, they even grinded down the dogs nails. 2 people cut pet hairs there, Mr.Pet and another lady whom cut my dogs hair. I have had some bad experience with previous groomers and have been weary about searching for new options. I have a difficult time trimming my dogs nails and hate the dread of clipping the quick which is so challenging to stop from bleeding even with the quick stop medicine. I was close by and had gotten a recommendation so I thought I would try my luck with getting an apt. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was very nice and was able to fit me in right away, in between appointments. When I arrived they had signs helping to inform the customers of how they are running there operation to be Covid compliant, which I really appreciated. I checked in than waited outside and ended up talking with another customer who was picking up her dog. She told me she's been going for years along with some of her family and friends and loves the groomers, which helped reassure me. Now my dog hates the groomers and was a wiggle monster trying to escape, but they took her quickly and calmly to there table and in minutes brought her back. Such a relief to find a competent and friendly groomer, they did such a good job and it was pain free :) I would definitely recommend giving the groomers more time than I did to book an apt, especially for a full groom. Amazing!!! I am so pleased with the service I got at Mr. Pet. I decided to take my two spoiled poms after reading all the great reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I made my appointment a month in advanced because summer is a busy time. Even though I had to wait a little longer I thought it was a great sign of their customer base. As I was walking up with my girls the day of the appointment Jeremy greeted me at the door, calling my dogs by name, and reassured me that they'd do great. The price is comparable to ALL the other places I looked into but the service is one of a kind. They gave my Zooey the best lion cut I've ever seen. I went here for the first time today and I'll definitely be back! My housemate introduced me to this place and I was surprised to find that it's also super close to where I live so it's in a very convenient location as well. I sent an email the night before to get a quote for a bath with medicated shampoo for my dog. Got a very fast reply back & was able to book an appointment for the next day. I actually overslept and didn't see the appointment time they gave me, but after calling them they still let me come in at a later time. They also let me add in my housemate's pomeranian and even stayed late in order to trim him. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating, I'll be recommending them to everyone! read more

I LOVE MR. PET! Correction, we love Mr. Pet (the babies asked to be included). This is our go to grooming place. I was just here today to get my little Cruiser cleaned up and I couldn't stop gushing about how the place smells so good all the time. I absolutely love the shampoo scent floating in the air. So much so that I can't stop sniffing my dogs everytime they get home from Mr. Pet. Seriously, I do and I'm not afraid to admit it. Did i mention that Jeremy and Charlie are freaken awesome?!? Great place! Everyone here is so friendly and it really seems like they love their job and animals. Cute and clean store. I took three of my dogs here to get their nails clipped and it was smooth sailing for me. As you know taking three dogs anywhere is a mission. Terrible place to take ur puppy. They mistreat your puppy. I took inn my puppy to this location the place were i normally take my puppy was closed. So i said let give Mr pet a try. The worst mistake ever. I drop off my puppy at 9:30am They call me to pick up my puppy at 4:00pm once they gave me my dogg she was shakin like if they did something to her. Ok I leave with my dogg asoonest i got home I put her her in her bed and she started crying real loud like if something was hurting i was like wth. Than i said shes probably just actin spoiled. I will give her day to act normal again. Next day same problem. Asoonest i get closed to her she starts crying she wouldnt eat her food. She was really sad than i said my puppy doesnt act like this, Shes normally very active. So i start to check my puppy from head to toe. She had a big cutt in her eye, aswell another bigg cutt in her head. So me and wife decide to take her to the vet. So i took her to the vet and the vet check her they did x-rays and happens to be that her back was hurt. I dont how this place hurt her back. Normally i take my puppy to another groomer i dont why i even look at Mr pet i dont know what i was thinking. Normally when i take her to her original groomer she doesnt come out like how she did with Mr pet. But i do tell u this i wouldnt ever ever ever do business with Mr Pet again. Charlie, Jeromy and the staff at Mr. Pet have gone above and beyond to to help me every step of the way with my dog owning experience. I initially met Charlie in 2007, years before I had a dog. We were at a birthday party with about 30 dogs, and Charlie had left a piece of chocolate cake in the middle of the floor. The dogs ran around the back yard, and played, and bounced around - and my jaw hit the floor when I saw that not one single dog attempted to eat that cake. They had all been trained by Charlie, or had Charlie as an influence in their training, and were so well behaved that a piece of cake could survive 30 dogs! I got her card immediately, and saved it for 3 years until I had a pooch of my own. The dog I did get was a rescue, and she came to me extremely insecure, and her fear made her aggressive. Without the support, training, pack walks, and constant phone calls to Charlie, there would have been no way that I could have kept her - her behavior was too severe. Ultimately, she allowed me to give my dog, Waffles, a second chance at life, a restoration and a balanced outlook. I have a new puppy now, and live in San Francisco, and Charlie still calls me occasionally to make sure that the puppy-training process is going smoothy, and offers her advice and support where ever we need it. Charlie's grooming is second to none, her training skills are unmatched, and the depth of her generosity with her dog-expertise has enriched my experience with my pups. Thank you Charlie! read more

I should be coming here way more than I am right now. This wasn't my first time giving Mr. Pet a visit for my dog's grooming. I took my new puppy Maltese in here for a quick bath since he was having some sort of itching problem. Mr. Pet was nice enough to squeeze Toby in even though they were swamped with appointments for the next few months. We talked to Jeremy regarding Toby's condition and he definitely knew what he was talking about. Jeremy was very helpful over the phone and even referred us to a known doctor that might be able to fix Toby's condition. So I took Toby in on a Friday afternoon for his grooming session and the place always seem to be packed. Mr Pet is an award-winning groomer so obviously people trust them with their pets. It took them roughly about two hours for the session and Toby was all ready to go. Their price was also very reasonable as it cost me $22 to bath Toby. They even threw a little bandanna in for Toby to make him look all spiffy for us. I really enjoy their customer service here at Mr. Pet and the work that they put in for our pets is tremendous. Without a doubt I will be giving them more visits for all three of my dogs or any future pups I have. Tip: Do make appointments one month ahead just because they are that crowded. I've known Charlie, Jeromey and " the rest" at Mr. Pet since 2007. I didn't have a dog at the time, but after knowing them for awhile, I started going on their Pack Walks in Mile Square Park. I have learned SO much from Charlie and Jeromey about training and handling dogs, that I became a Dog walker and pet sitter. I also have one long haired cat that is getting older. She can't quite keep her hair from getting matted anymore. Charlie has helped me learn how to help her with that and i am grateful. Unfortunately I recently moved to Lancaster. Fortunately, that has allowed me to give a forever home to a Westie I used to babysit. Many good things have come to me through Mr. Pet -it's not just a grooming shop, it's a way of life! Charlie and Jeremy have helped our family get started on the right foot/paw. Both of our dogs are groomed by at Mr. Pets. Our toy poodle, has sever issues that makes it difficult for petting and grooming, and Charlie is the only person that he will let groom him. Charlie and Jeremy trained both Elphie and Taz. Thanks to Charlie our dog Elphie is well-socialized, house trained, and happy. Taz, a rescue by Charlie, has been very well adjusted to our family, and has been the perfect addition. Mr. Pet in Fountain Valley has been a life changer for us. My husband and I used to feel guilty about leaving our little dog when we traveled, that is ,until a friend told us about Mr. Pet. Charlie and Jeremy are the local "dog Whispers " !! Now he practically dances when we drop him off for grooming or boarding. He comes back to us looking wonderful and happy. My little Maltese was a spoiled little brat when we first met Charlie and Jeremy. I had previous paid a lot of money to train him. Well, Charlie did wonders with him for soooo much less. Our friends are totally amazed that our dog would sit by the door to wait for permission before going out or entering. It is the cutest thing you have ever seen, a great safety lesson that might save my little dog someday. Yup, Charlie and Jeremy trained him to do that ,too. Lucky, a rat terrier mix, loves mr. pet way better than petsmart. i think its the fact that they have trained doggies running around that it put his mind at ease. Hair be gone. yoshi is a siberian husky so she shedded double the amount of hair. than other dogs. no problem for mr. pet. jeromey and charlie cleans her up so good that she doesnt shed a lot anymore and stays super soft for 2 months; this depends on her two coats. read more

All say is wow! I have been looking for someone to groom my 5 month Westie. The groomer I usually use was booked too far out. Thru Yelp I found Jeremy. He was able to get me in sooner than the regular groomer. He was very nice and I pretty much gave little direction on what I wanted. I said, "I want my Westie to look like a Westie" he asked a couple of questions and I left it in his hands. When I picked Noula up I was beyond pleased to say the least. It was exactly what I envisioned. She looks like a super model. The prices are reasonable and I didn't have to leave my baby all day. I have finally found Noula's groomer. They are a bit farther than I was going before, IMO it is well worth the drive. Give them a try you won't regret it. read more

I have a Westie named Will... he is a senior dog, stubborn and can be difficult.. But HE loves getting into the car and going to Mr. Pet. He feels safe at the shop with Charlie and Jeremy and he is greeted with a smile and always handled with TLC . I appreciate how professional Charlie & Jeremy are and I am amazed at how they turn my scruffy Westie into a handsome show dog! Yes, they are busy... and yes I might have to wait for an appointment, but they will always accommodate my schedule when Will needs a Mr. Pet transformation. I needed a last minute bath and brush for my dog so he can look nice for lunar new year! They gladly squeezed me in for a last minute appointment. I was a bit skeptical because the last groomers made my dog scared. The bath and brush was reasonably priced as well. The owners are really friendly too!!!
