My doggy loves their day camp! They do fun themed days where they send you photos of your pup! They also have a live stream to the play room!

PetSmart for 2x 10lb Penn Select Wild Bird Seed and Fish Pond supplies. It was a Deja Vu kind of experience as I haven't been to the store to buy any crickets; the tarantula went to big spiders in the sky resting place. But, my gold fish are thriving in a small pond. I got a bottle of Accu Clear water treatment to keep the water crystal clear and two types of pellets and flakes to keep the fish happy. The birdseed is to fill a hanging feeder and attract local sparrows to come and feed and drink from a small water fountain. I received good help and he also reminded me that I'm a PetSmart Treats Rewards Member.

I took my very anxious dog to Petsmarts Express grooming service. Scout is as sweet as they come with people, but is nervous when around other dogs. James took extra good care of her. Made her feel comfortable. And she came out looking gorgeous! It had been a while since she had a service. We used to have a groomer come to our home. We. Moved to HB and have not found a groomer we loved, so have been trying to do ourselves. I forgot how amazing talented groomers can be! I will definitely be taking her back for James to groom. Thank you James for doing such a great job! She even smiled after her service!

For Bennys food we came to this Petsmart in Huntington Beach. It's huge well organized pet store. Not much smelly tiny pet store. I looked around and surprise of pet's Christmas outfit! So cute! So much of variety! They even offer free pet photos with Santa! Cool!

Have brought both of our dogs here at the pet hotel many times with no issues but this last time has been an absolute nightmare.. I don't even know where to begin but please read this to hopefully save your dog from fleas, malnutrition and dehydration... we dropped them off with 2 1/2 bags of food and they called us THE DAY after we dropped them off and said they are out of food if want them to give them their food... we thought that was a little weird because we dropped them off literally the day before.. but we said sure and didn't think much of it til the next day after that, a different person calls us and says the same thing.. we were like yeah we know.. someone called us yesterday.. so I'm like did they even feed him and why/ how did they go through 2 1/2 bags of food in 1 day... and why is no one communicating or anything.. well, the nightmare doesn't start there... We pick them up 6 days later only to have them both infested with fleas and our 2 year old being so skinny all his bones were protruding... (photos attached) we of course too him immediately to the animal hospital where they gave him fluids and did blood testing on him (results I will post below) his levels were all out of wack from malnutrition and dehydration... we then 2 days later took him to a follow up from our primary vet who is familiar with him and saw him for a check up not even a month prior.. by his reaction and rage towards this pet hotel for not only having fleas, but having our dog look like this and not telling us and telling us everything was great and they ate great (CLEARLY NOT, look at him) we are devastated by even the thought of our babies being starved or mistreated. Please do not make the mistake we did and take your dogs here we are still trying to get the fleas under control and taking him back for another follow up about his weight in a week..

"Happiness is a warm puppy." -Charles M. Schulz Pet Smart is located on Edinger in the Edinger Plaza. It is well stocked with anything and everything we need for our puppy . Let's get to the fun stuff! They have some fun toys that brings joy and hours of play to our puppy. Hercules just turned 1 yr and he's still in the bitting destoyer stage, some toys last 2 to 3 days. Also, they have lots if different treats that have our pup's tail wagging and begging for treats; plus he pulls tricks of his hat to get his treats -like giving his paw think (high five), standing tall like a soldier and give his puppy eyes. They have fun and cute outfits as well as seasonal outfits. PetSmart has great customer service that actually like our puppy when we have taken him there. Our puppy loves the Blue Mountain food and puppy treats here and we love their prices.

Rating for GROOMING I love the staff at HB off Edinger. They are so sweet and always get excited to see my fur baby Ella Bella. The prices have gone way up since Covid, but I still won't take her anywhere else. I recently booked her for a grooming appointment with an Academy Trainee and got 35% off! (Haircut only, add-ons still full price) but saved me $20! The trainees already seemed so comfortable, checking-in was easy and I couldn't even tell who was the trainee or normal staff because they all seemed like they knew exactly what to do. Rest assured, there was a head groomer helping with any questions and overseeing to make sure everything ran smoothly. Heidi D was Ella's groomer and she did an amazing job! She looks like a whole new dog And Heidi even mentioned it was only her 2nd dog she groomed. I'm so happy with the service and excited for all the Academy Trainees to practice and become part of the staff! All the dogs I saw leaving the groomers after their bath/haircut looked great. Thanks again Heidi! Defiantly will book with you again in the future

Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.

My dogs had never been boarded before, and I'd never been away from them, so finding the right place for a 17‑lb dog and a 75‑lb dog felt stressful. Ryan could take my small dog, but my big girl needed a different setup. He then suggested in‑home boarding with Myriam, which turned out to be the perfect fit. I toured several kennels, even the upgraded "suite" options, but the constant barking made my big dog anxious. Myriam's home was the complete opposite--calm, comfortable, and clearly designed with big dogs in mind. My dog relaxed with her right away. She has a large enclosed yard where my pup spent hours playing fetch, and Myriam sent daily updates and photos throughout the five‑day stay. As a bonus, since she wasn't watching any other dogs, she welcomed my small dog too, so they could stay together. I'll absolutely return to Myriam for future boarding. I trust her, and most importantly, my dogs trusted her.

That's what I was informed the day that he went for 4 hours and he only played 20 minutes . When the incident happened with diego being grabbed by a big dog, you guys gave it no importance, since that dog continued to be in open play ( I saw him on the camera all the time ) I am surprised the staff saw diego showing teeth, most of the staff there are on their phone all the time, not paying attention while they supposed to be "watching the dogs". With the exception of a couple of people that showed cared but they were not there when diego supposedly showed his teeth. Diego is a very lovable small dog, he is not a big vicious dog, and is very strange that at Paws Chateau he NEVER shows teeth or does any of the things you said, in fact, all of the staff there love Diego, and he has fun with the other dogs. In your daycare you guys never even checked to see if he was up to date with vaccines, just like you probably don't check anyone else's . So it surprises me that this facility says they care for the animals. The truth is that you are right, digo likes to cuddle or be loved and the staff was too busy on the phone to be paying attention to him.

My 54 lb Jindo does not do well with strangers, she is all bark but no bite. I was very anxious bringing her to any dog care but Wendy was willing to do an assessment prior to their stay. This was my very first time doing any sort of dog care so I was really worried about leaving them. They did really well and my other dog had so much fun (he's a social butterfly). The main reason I chose this place vs all the other dog boarding is because they offer a "home" living experience rather than a facility/warehouse. My dogs always freely roams the house and lays on our bed, couch, wherever they please so I wanted something similar and Wendy's house provided that. I couldn't bare the thought of them being kept in a narrow sleeping quarter locked throughout the day. Thank you for taking great care of my babies! This place will definitely be my go-to for any future dog boarding.

August 11th The Day We Lost Louie…read more Our six-year-old French Bulldog, Louie, died from heatstroke just two and a half hours into what we were told would be a four-hour trial day at this daycare. We were told the purpose of the trial was simply to see whether Louie could get along with other dogs. We were never told that he would be taken to a dog park or participate in strenuous outdoor activity. We chose this daycare because the owner told us she owns a French Bulldog herself, and because the daycare had very good reviews. We trusted that our French Bulldog would be understood and properly cared for. What happened that day is something we will never forget. 9:00 AM -- We dropped Louie off for his four-hour trial. 9:30 AM -- Just 30 minutes later, Louie was taken to a dog park for outdoor activity without our knowledge. We had never been told that he would be taken off the daycare premises or to a dog park. The temperature that day ranged from approximately 77°F to 85°F. 10:18 AM -- According to the daycare, Louie vomited after the activity. We were not informed when it happened. 11:30 AM -- More than an hour after he vomited, we received a photo of his vomit. At the same time, we were communicating about payment and completing a reservation for his future stay. We were given no indication that Louie was experiencing a potentially life-threatening emergency. 11:45 AM -- We received a phone call telling us that Louie was not breathing. 12:00 PM -- Louie was pronounced dead from heatstroke. Our dog went into the daycare alive and healthy at 9:00 AM. By noon, he was dead. What is especially devastating is what we learned afterward. We were told that they had never seen Louie breathing so heavily before. We were also told that they had tried giving him water, but he was vomiting. For a French Bulldog, excessive panting, vomiting, and difficulty breathing in hot conditions can be serious warning signs of overheating and heatstroke. French Bulldogs are particularly vulnerable to heat because of their shortened airways and difficulty cooling themselves efficiently through panting. Yet during the critical period when Louie was apparently struggling, we received no immediate warning and no update about his condition. The owner was also not present at the daycare at the time. We later learned that she had a doctor's appointment, which contributed to a delay in communication. While the adults were dealing with schedules, appointments, and communication, Louie was suffering--and we knew nothing. This was supposed to be a simple four-hour trial to see whether Louie could socialize with other dogs. We never agreed to have him taken to a dog park in temperatures reaching 85°F. We never imagined that he would be subjected to strenuous outdoor activity in hot weather. We are devastated that Louie was placed in this situation while in someone else's care. We trusted this daycare because we believed they understood French Bulldogs. That trust was shattered in the worst possible way. Louie was in their care. We trusted them to keep him safe. We expected him to come home. He never did. Louie was not just a dog. He was part of our family, and we will never get him back.
