Tried to call ahead and place an order but no one answered the phone. I figured they must have been busy. After 4 tries then eventually arriving at the location, I walk in and to my surprise it's empty. I see one employee sitting at the table with his feet up on a chair (not sure if they were on a break). I ordered my sandwiches and when asked if I wanted everything on my sandwich I say yes. Cannot believe there are so many people ordering from this place & I think it's lack of other sandwich options in the area. A 7-8 inch basic sandwich is $15! I paid $60 for 3 regular sized subs + 3 regular sodas. Literally who do they think they are? Jersey mikes, who blow this place out of the water, have FIFTEEN inch subs for about $4 more than these 7 inch ones. I always get the Italian sandwich everything on it and it always comes with a good amount of meat! We also get the tri tip bbq sandwich is actually very good! They have several breads to chose from! They compliment your order with a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie! There's parking lot in front and you can eat there or get it to go. I just honestly had the most appalling experience I've ever had going into a restaurant before in my life. As I get out my car at 7:14 PM, I hear loud music as if I arrived to a house party or something, but come to find out when I open the door of the sandwich shop, The music is blaring extremely loud with base ,curse words, the n word and all! I would understand if it was after hours and they were cleaning up because they were closed, but they don't close until 8 PM ! Its 7:14! when my wife and I walked in nobody was in the front for at least three minutes, when somebody finally came out, he didn't say anything at all. He turned the music down maybe one notch or two with it still being extremely loud and started to maybe clean up I said hello to him and he said give him a second . once we ordered he said that he couldn't toast our sandwiches because they already turned the oven off. Why would the oven be off and they have almost 45 minutes until closing .it was just a very tacky unprofessional experience. The workers looked high and smelled like weed! And i know it was them because nobody else was there! I don't know what kind of young kids they have working in there, but I will never step foot in that place ever again I feel so disrespected. Worst delivery experience ever! I have visited this store in person and had good experiences in the past. This time I tried delivery through the Mr. Pickles app, and I was charged for my order. Then about an hour later I received a text that the delivery order had been cancelled and that I should contact the store if I had any questions. I've been trying to call the store for quite literally the last 18 hours, last night to this afternoon and all I get is a recorded message stating, "We are not available now, please leave your name and number..." The food is really good. Has been my favorite sandwich shop for years. I really do think it's the best, reliable sandwich in the area that I know of but there are a couple of things that provide an unfortunate experience. They routinely do not answer the phone when I try to place my order in advance to go pick up. It will either be the "busy" signal or they simply won't answer the phone. I have gone in person after trying to call and the phone will ring and ring and even when one of them is available to answer, it's obvious not answering is general practice. I choose not to go as often as I used to as the prices have gotten pretty high. Last time two sandwiches and two chips with a modest tip were $40. On top of that, the last couple of times I have made the trip, they have run out of the bread I think makes this place special and with plenty of time before closing they will not make new selection of the bread that has run out which makes the food a little less satisfying. Still a great sandwich but since I don't go as often it would be nice to have what I want and if they won't answer the phone, I only find out they don't have what I want after I've made the trip out there. Again, great food and the service is nice enough when you are there but these things matter and they don't seem to be a priority because this has been going on for a couple of years now. I also like the fact that they greeted people when they walked in,I felt bad when a good number of people were rude and didn't even acknowledge the workers, but besides that I only had two issues. The first being a female worker wiped her nose with her arm and kept working on a sandwich,then wiped her nose with her wrist and kept working. I think at the very least she should have paused and washed her wrist and arm before finishing something that someone was gonna eat.
