I ordered the #4 Hot Pastrami. Sandwich had great flavor. I loved the garlic sauce on the sandwich. I may just have added some extra pickles tho. Pastrami has a great smoky but not overwhelming smoky flavor. My only complaint is I ordered a macaroni salad and by the time my order was ready they ran out of macaroni salad. When I placed my order at the counter, I saw one was left in the refrigerator behind cashier. A lady before me had to wait awhile for her order so she was given a macaroni salad comped. This was my first time here so I was unaware that what I saw in the refrigerator was all that was made for the day. - Rudest staff I've ever encountered in the discovery bay location - $17 for a microwaved sandwich is also absolutely crazy. - They also never open when they say they will. Literally hours of difference from when they say they will, so it's 50/50 if they will even be open when you get there. - Instead of music they usually have CNN or Fox News on blaring on the tv and sound system (which one depends who is working that day). This is the best sandwich place in the area. The Italian is my favorite. My wife loves the turkey, bacon, avocado. The service is friendly, although it can take some time for the orders when they're busy. It's usually only one person working at a time. They now have the option to pay with cards, which is definitely more convenient than the cash-only option they had initially. The ambience is casual and much better for the space than the prior restaurant that was here. I wish they had longer hours, but can understand why they close at 3PM. Total $20.55 Bread was fresh, turkey freshly sliced on crunchy soft dutch crunch. The garlic spread is on point. Macaroni salad was pretty good. They also have salads, hot sandwiches, ton of chips, cookies, bottled water and can sodas to choose from. The sandwiches here are incredible! This is a hidden gem in a small plaza. First you'll notice all license plates on the walls. I've taken my fair share of road trips across the country so the decor is very fitting. Next, they have a few old lunchboxes on the wall near the front door above some sort of throne chair. Maybe it should be under the Roadee's neon sign for photo ops. You'll need cash until they have an operating point of sale device. Luckily there's a BofA ATM at the corner a few yards away. I got the turkey bacon avocado sandwich with mayo, garlic sauce and all the veggies on a soft roll. It only comes in one size so no need to figure that out. Everything tasted super fresh. I'm impressed with the quality and craftsmanship they took to making the sandwich. The ladies were very nice and welcoming. I also got an Arizona Iced tea from their fridge which has a good selection of options. No free refills here and that's healthier for all of us. The fridge also has macaroni salad and fudge brownies. Country music was playing in the background so practice your line dancing moves. There's an option to purchase online before you get here as well. I do not recommend roadees first off the worker didn't speak any English needed to use his phone to translate ordered a number one and a number three sandwich there's nothing on them smallest sandwiches and the Dutch crunch bread was not even cooked completely soggy. I called and spoke with Cynthia I believe that's the manager very disappointed. She's rude not willing to do anything for me besides, bring my sandwich back so they can remake it, not interested very disappointed in this business. Best Gyro and delicious sandwiches! Atmosphere is so cute! And customer service is GREAT! They are CASH ONLY but there is a ATM just a couple doors over! Got to chatting with the lady working and they make ALL their sauces for sandwiches and their desserts in house! I'd really like this place to make it, but I don't see how it's going to. There's no signage out front for people to know it's there. Today we called after they should've been open repeatedly and no answer. We drive down there at 11:30 a.m and the place was locked up and no one was there, they are supposed to be open at 11. My husband ended up driving to the Brentwood location to get us sandwiches, but the only reason he drove that far was because it was what I was craving for my birthday. At 2:30 the door was open and open sign was on. I walked in and waited inside and it was empty. The worker was not even behind the counter. I waited 10-15 minutes for a young girl to come out who was surprised to see me and tell me she had no bread left to make sandwiches. Then why stay open? You're a sandwich shop. I don't believe this location gets that much business to be out of bread. The hours listed online are also wrong. I wanna start off by saying that I really want this place to do good and succeed and I will definitely come by and get food again. I got the Italian and the meat cheese and toppings and bread were all really good, and I loved the sauce they put on. The sandwich tasted really good. The only thing is they are skimping on the meat really hard. They post pictures of what the sandwich should look like and they aren't even close. Like I said I got the Italian, it has 3 meats on it, and I ordered double cheese, and this thing had more cheese than meat on it. If I order double cheese it should not equal the same amount of meat that a sandwich with 3 meats on it has. If the sandwich was $8 that would be fine but that's not what they cost. I included a picture below. I will definitley come back and the quality and taste of all the ingredients was great, but they need to put the right amount of meat on for the price and the amount people expect from their promotional pictures. read more
