Husband loved the chowder, the sandwich was rather small. We can get a better sandwich from another place that starts with and "I" for the same cost that tastes way better. The price you pay for the sandwich doesn't compare to what you get. We were really shocked. But the flat bread had loads of ingredients which was worth it, if I must say it was way too cheesy. But I can't complain with the cheese. I'd rather have more than not enough. The staff on the other hand seemed to chat more than push out orders. What is a fairly simple visit? I pretty much arrived as soon as the doors open for the day around 11 o'clock. There was one other customer in their prior to me. I was stuck between choosing one item over the other, so I asked the girl at the counter, what she thought she stated she Has had both of them and that either one was good. So I finally made my choice in my decision place my order with her, and within about 5 to 7 minutes, my order was brought out to me at the table that I was sitting at. Couple customers came in to order their food and one person came in To Get an order picked up to go. For my first visit here I don't have anything to complain about. It was pleasant and quiet. If I had to provide one suggestion, it would be to greet the customers as they come in the door versus just saying that you can help them at the register when they're ready. The appearance in presentation inside looked pretty clean from what I could see. I did not have to use their restroom facilities, so I'm not pretty. What that part of the location looks like. Shady business. Picked up my order after it took them an hour to make after the time I ordered it. When I arrived no one acknowledged I was standing there for pickup. Finally, someone asked my name then walked away. She never came back to tell me if my order was done or not. She had me just standing there waiting even longer. When I got home I opened my order and it was wrong. I called the store and they told me to drive all the way back to get a cash refund even though I paid by credit card. I live 25 mins away. I'm not driving back for their mistake. She said if I did not want to do that I could submit a complaint online, so I did. It's been 12 days and I have received no response from the Brentwood management or owner of this establishment. I did get a response from corporate but they kept telling me that they will send another email to that specific location for them to respond. I think I sent about 5 emails and finally gave up. I had to dispute the transaction with my bank. How do you not respond to customers when your staff handed me the wrong order? I would never conduct business with this establishment again. See, I LOVE the nearby Concord location, so when I heard that there was an opportunity for me to come grab my fabulous Greek salad in Brentwood, I was ecstatic. It was a Saturday just perfect for a smackin' salad, but that's not what I ended up with. The feta was left in massive chunks the width of slices of American cheese and the tomatoes were straight mush. The biggest issue was actually the way they chopped their ingredients--which is kind of a good thing, if you think about it, because it means their areas of improvement aren't so monumental that they can't be overcome. (They def can! If you guys want to improve, I know you have it in you!) I'm talking cucumbers cut up into chunks the size of carpenter ants and huge artichoke heart pieces that took up a majority of the bowl. Asked for a refund for the sandwich, because we had to wait so long, the rest of us were all done with our food. When they made the second sandwich, they took our receipt and threw it. So hubs discovered this place while at a car show in Walnut Creek last weekend. I ate his leftovers (I know, I'm a piggy). So I looked them up locally and found one in Brentwood... I went there today for lunch and ordered a #2 cold as is with no mustard and it was flipping amazing!!!!! I love their bread and the house sauce was amazing! My son brought home his sandwich and the portion of the sandwich was not worth the price. The sandwich did not have enough meat and vegetables. I ate a little of it to try and it tasted like a regular sandwich that someone could make at home. Nothing special about the sandwich. After trying different sandwiches, salads and soups, I found my winning combo: - Toasted turkey, salami and cheddar with Sourdough and Co.'s house sauce: The key here is to get that sourdough bread toasted! Crunchy on the exterior, but warm on the interior makes the cheese melt into the savory turkey and salty salami. Delicious! I've driven past this place for years but today was my first time trying it and I was impressed. The bread 100% made the sandwich so good, the sourdough was nice and fresh. I had the 6" turkey sandwich chip combo and my husband had the 6" roast beef sandwich chip combo and our order total was about $35, pretty pricey. I tried calling in our order as well and the woman on the phone told me they don't accept phone orders and directed me to use their online order form. Ordering online is fine, but I thought it was odd she couldn't take my order over the phone. At the time i called I was in the car and couldn't order online. So I've decided to start doing some Covid reviews to talk about everyone's 'To Go' game and how easy it is to get take out in this pandemic world. First of all the food gets a 10! I haven't had sourdough (SD) that good and fresh in awhile. Even our favorite SD we buy every week is not as good as this. Loved my Turkey sandwich, and the Chicken Caesar Salad! The app to purchase online was also pretty good. I'd give it a 7. Somehow I ordered a meal deal when I didn't mean to. I ordered, then had to go back and add an account, so do the account first. It looks like you can go in to grab your order, or to order, but the area to order is not huge. Sorry I didn't notice distancing measures for guests waiting, but it wasn't crowded.
