We love coming to Roadees Cafe. The owner is Mexican and you can truly feel how kind, friendly, and genuine she is it makes such a difference when you're supporting a local business where people actually care. My daughter absolutely loves the Mexican torta, and that's honestly one of the main reasons we keep coming back. That said, the other sandwiches are also really good. Everything is fresh and flavorful, and in my opinion, definitely better than Mr. Pickles. Great food, welcoming atmosphere, and a place that feels like a neighborhood gem. We came here on Mother's Day weekend after some lovely strawberry picking in Brentwood for a quick bite! It ended up being about a 45 minute wait due to staffing and busy lunch rush, which they communicated with us. The food was good but nothing special about the deli sandwiches. I've tried this place a couple times to give them chances but it's been a letdown every time. I came in today and ordered a chicken and turkey sandwich. I got out to my car realized that they only put one small piece of chicken in my soft roll. I go back in to let them know that the sandwich was messed up they then fix it since I'm parched from walking back-and-forth from the car to the shop. I go to grab a Dr Pepper, which is $1.50 they do charge me for it which kind of pissed me off immediately since they had messed up my sandwich it should've been complementary at the least! I get back to my car with my remade sandwich to one slice of meat at the most on my entire sandwich after I had specifically asked for extra turkey and the older woman owner acknowledged me and said no problem. Complete letdown sandwich always sucks every time I come here people rave about this place and I've tried it and tried it and tried it. I feel like it's false advertisement when they continue to show you these fully meat loaded sandwiches. This is the last time I will be going back and this is my honest opinion. If you wanna be let down and you want a veggie sandwich definitely come here. See photos, for example a $18 sandwich should not have majority lettuce and mayonnaise on it. We tried Roadees for the first time but it definitely won't be our last. The customer service was great. We were welcomed and given some recommendations. My hubby got a delicious and toasty sandwich. He said it's one of the better sandwiches he's had. I got an Italian salad which was a nice size and had lots of fresh tasting ingredients nicely and finely chopped. It's hard to find a salad that won't leave you hungry and this one fit the bill. It's now of my favorite salads. I would've given them a 5 star review but I took off a star because when we asked for water cups we were told we could purchase water in bottles. I will still be back because the food was delicious and the variety of things offered was amazing. I even saw a muffaletta on the specials menu. read more

A long time ago roadees was handing out samples of their cranberry wrap and I immediately loved it and I kept saying I'll go get some. Finally after so many years I went to go get some just last week and it was still amazing. The ambience was nice and quiet on a Sunday afternoon 10/10 recommend. read more

Ordering was very quick wait time was around 8-10 mins ... they have some cute decor so passing time was fun, they have outdoor seating on the side. We packed some Hot Pastrami, Turkey sandwiches which was on Today Special board along with side of potato salad both sandwiches were excellent , very fresh ingredients & quite tasty. Didn't enjoy my first experience here. Some how two people after us get there sandwiches before us? Must be the color of the skin or something. Got a plan ass sandwich, what they call a French Dip. My girl got the bbq chicken Took more than 20 min. Place was hot outside, No fans or air flowing in the little seating area they have. Waste of time and money. They have one here in Dico says it's open at 11 drive by and not open. Not a fan. Probably last time going there. Subway is better than this and that's sad. read more

Just had to adjust the review to a ZERO. Having given enough time to hopefully give this place another go, an order was placed online and I was tasked to pick it up on my way home. Getting there early, the lady told me to wait about 20 minutes. No problem. After 30 minutes, I went back and the young lady with all the metal in her face asked me if I was going to order. I said I was there to pick up an order and waited the 20 minutes. She responded by saying "you don't need to give me attitude". The First Lady (the nice one-who looks like she might be the owner) said what did you say? I told her " I didn't say anything"..."that was your girl"... "the girl over there said I was giving an attitude" To which she said "no you're not, I told you to come back in 20 minutes". I said "I know, I was just doing what you told me" The girl with the metal just walked passed me with another order, no apology for her rudeness. Just entitlement as we have come to expect from that generation. Action without consequence. I decided since they had "misplaced" the order to just cancel it & refund me. What a waste of time. Went to the farmers market & ended up staying longer than expected so that called for food! I'm not a fan of Dino's, so I was happy to see there was a sandwich shop right across the parking lot! I got their Italian sub & it was delicious! The garlic sauce is good, not over powering & adds the right amount of flavor. They forgot my peperoncinis, or there was barely any in it, I'd just ask for more next time. The staff was pretty friendly & they have a cute lil outside area to sit & eat. The sandwich was a lil pricey for its size, but me & my 5yo were able to split it & feel filled enough. We will definitely be back. read more

Good sandwich's, good service, prices are as expected. There is very limited space inside the cafe but they have additional seating adjacent to the cafe and I believe it's covered, which is great in the summer time! For downtown Brentwood you have really two sandwich shops; Dino's and Roadees. They both serve good sandwiches, both are local businesses. My wife likes Roadees Italian sandwich more than Dino's, so we tend to eat there more often. read more

I tried roadees today after trying Dino's yesterday for the first time...and I enjoyed my roadees sandwich so much better! I went 5 mins after opening and they were still setting up and the two people there only spoke Spanish so I had to wait a few mins before the other servers came in. So don't go in right when they open lol give it 10-15 mins for them to be ready to take orders. I got the turkey provolone on a Dutch crunch roll and the sandwich was warm, cheese perfectly melted and super super delicious! The Dutch crunch was so fresh too and personally I like it better than the Dino's Dutch crunch. This is my new fav sandwich spot and I'll definitely be back! Ordered 2 sandwiches this afternoon and the overall experience was not great. We came in at 12:12 and had ordered and paid by 12:14. It took 12 minutes for our 2 sandwiches to be ready. We had been intending to eat quickly before an appointment but it took long enough to get our sandwiches that we decided to take them home to eat after our appointment. When we got home to eat them we found that BOTH sandwiches had been made incorrectly. My roast beef sandwich had mustard, which I do not care for, and my husband's sandwich was entirely wrong - it was made with marinara sauce when he had ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich! We did eat both sandwiches because at that point he needed to get back to work and I also had other things to do. But I called the cafe in the car and spoke to the young lady we had ordered from who remembered us and confirmed that she had made the tickets correctly for our sandwiches. She said she would pass my info to the owners and that they would get back to me. 20 minutes later the same young lady called me back and said she was told to ask if we'd eaten the sandwiches and since I said we had, she said "Well for next time come back right away if something is wrong." This is not unreasonable, however it was not doable in this situation because we did not have the time to go back and deal with incorrect sandwiches. I am also upset because this poor worker should not be having to deal with complaints when the owners should be answering to the customers. This was our first time here since the new owners took over a couple of years ago, and at this point we would not even consider returning. We to wait a long time for sandwiches that were made incorrectly and then the owners could not be bothered to follow up with appropriate customer service. The sandwiches themselves were fine but nothing special and perhaps would have been enjoyed more if they had been made correctly. read more

We came on the weekend and the employee was complaining on how many people were inside like it was a bad thing having customers. Very disappointed with the service I received today. We ordered two sandwiches, both toasted, and one with extra garlic sauce. We received our sandwiches and neither of them were toasted, and they put the extra sauce on the opposite sandwich. When we asked for extra sauce, they told us no, and we had to pay after we had already ordered it. I went in with both sandwiches and ask the worker if we could have more garlic sauce for the sandwich that ordered it. Two of the workers were very rude and even asked me "what do you want me to do then?". I also saw another worker give a side remark while I was waiting for the extra garlic sauce. I really enjoyed the sandwich place, but I will not be coming back, because of the customer service that I experienced today. Roadees has fallen off a cliff. I ordered pastrami sub and it was straight-up garbage. The meat was so dried out it felt like I was chewing on a tire from a junkyard. Obviously old, reheated who-knows-how-many times, then slapped on bread like we're clueless. This was one of the worst things I've ever been served. Meat tasted so fresh and very rich.. the bread was nicely toasted with melted Swiss cheese.. the aioli spread is amazing. The best sandwich in the area . I liked it more than the neighbor's sandwich shop( next door). The place is so clean and cozy with outside seating . I felt like home. Not to Mentioned how great the customer service e is.. I've try all the delis in our area, and this is my go to place. The lady that owns it is just the sweetest, and her desserts are addicting. I never thought a deli would have me hooked on brownies but here we are. The sandwiches are fresh, well made, and generous. The caprese is one of the best sandwiches I've had anywhere. The flavors work so well together. This week we had a picnic with my son at his school down the street, I ordered sandwiches, salad, sides, and of course brownies online. She had it all ready on time and my older son heard.. I had to squeeze in an order for him too. She had it ready at the same time and I was able to drop it off and liberty and make it to the picnic.
