I guess I am a simple man. Lately I found Rupe's burgers and few other local staples to be overrated. Like you only stop there because you loved your grandpa and it was his favorite spot and the beverage is bland and the service is rude, but you just go because of cozy memories from decades ago. Same with many other places from early youth or childhood which are still around. If you focus you easily figure out that the actual state of many things is very different nowadays to say the least. That being said my spouse recommended this awesome place and I was really happy about trying it. Employees were genuinely friendly, pizza felt homecooked. If I'd be asked to suggest anything I'd only ask to diversify the beverage menu and add an espresso machine to the kitchen equipment. I figured it wasn't a coincidence when not one but two different people-completely unrelated-recommended visiting Mr. Pizza for lunch while I was in town. Both were locals, so I figured they would know where the good places are to eat. Well, if this is the best in town, I'd be hesitant to expand my culinary exploration anywhere else. The pizza was pretty bland and the crust was flavorless. I hate to be negative, but it was rough. We ordered the 13 inch pizza with pepperoni and jalapeños, it was delish. One of the best cheeses I've had, that stretchy flavorful cheese. We ordered a dozen wings, super delish and flavorful. I did not need the ranch dressing, delicious without the dressing. Service was five star . The cashier was super friendly, and attentive. She brought us boxes to go without us even asking. I was visiting family in Blackfoot and wanted pizza other than dominos. Actually ate here two days in a row. Toppings are delicious and prices are great. The staff is exceptionally nice and the restaurant was very clean. It is a bit thicker of a pie and is very cheesy, which seems to be the Idaho style. All in all, good solid pie. My only complaint is that there is no website and nowhere to easily find the menu online. Had to use a yelp review from months ago to call ahead and order. read more

Have to give this place a full 5 stars. Our group of 20 road trip tired folks descended on this place after visiting the museum across the street. The young gal at the counter was extremely helpful with our ordering and service throughout our visit. They even let us move some tables to get the adults and kids in their own spaces. Pizza didn't take too long to arrive. When it did, holy moly cheese! (they don't skimp there) The pizza is good, it's not super gourmet style you'd get in a fancy Italian restaurant, it's more of a top tier soccer awards pizza joint. We bought 2 to go pizzas (pepperoni and combo) and they were good. The toppings were fresh and tasty but the crust wasn't to our liking. I'm sure it suits others but it was just a bit to "white bread". The employees at the restaurant couldn't have been nicer and made me feel welcome. read more

We went to Mr Pizza last night for the first time. First the pizza was very good! We were a group of about 18 all ordering separately and they got the food very fast. I have been all over the US and I every state I go to I always get pizza from somewhere. I just recently got back from NJ AND NYC, where some of the best pizza is and I have to say that this is one of south east Idaho's best pizza places. The quality and quantity is great and their building is super clean. The staff is amazing and they always go out of their way to make it a good experience. Even though they were really busy, the staff were friendly and super positive. We expected to wait a long time because they were so busy, but our salad, cheesy breadsticks, and pizza each came in a very timely manner. The salad was fine, the breadsticks were super fluffy with great flavor, and the pizza was awesome! The cheese was the perfect level of melty, stringy, chewy, deliciousness.
