Visited Heise Pizza Parlour today on a recommendation. It was so worth the trip! The drive out is rife with views of the river and mountains and makes it hard to focus on the road. Once you arrive there is a large parking lot with ample parking. We parked and walked up the Parlour steps and were immediately greeted by Ru. She grabbed menus, plates, and silverware and sat us in a booth with a view of the golf course. There is patio seating but right now the hornets have decided it belongs to them. The dining room is a good size with a huge round floating fireplace in the center of the room. There is booth seating on both windowed walls and tables and chairs in the center. Ru and a new shadowing server, Haley, came to the table and took our order and gave great recommendations. It was a quiet afternoon just us a couple other families. We started with the Greek salad and jalapeño poppers sticks (which was like flatbread just word to the wise and they were delicious!). We got the Heise Deluxe pizza which had Canadian bacon olives pepperoni sausage bell pepper mushrooms and onions on it was so friggin' tasty! We enjoyed everything and got full quickly so we have pizza for dinner! If you make your way out to east Idaho definitely go out for the views and hikes and stay for pizza. Thank you, Heise Pizza!

we had the best waitress. Food was good and beer was cold. Highly recommend swimming, followed up with pizza and beer.

July 29th, 2017. The decor is nice and sunny the music was Jazz. We were seated right away. Our sever seemed friendly. We placed our order. Our waitress forgot about my Huckleberry Lemonade and I had to remind her. We waited over 30 mins. to get our food. People that got seated after us and ordered after us were served. Then came my order of Pebbles French Toast so we thought the rest of our orders would be coming out too. Over 15 mins. later here came the rest of the orders. None of our orders were hot but more like lukewarm. The food was good but the timing of our food was not. Portions are large. Restaurant is clean. They also have large selection of pickled items on the bar I wasn't sure what they all were. The waitress seemed oblivious. She was kind. Because our food was lukewarm and came out at different times I am giving it a 3 star. I did take a picture of a table next to us that got the Slutty Grandma Brownie that was huge and they said tasted great.

Having the 'Heise Special' and a Personal Cheese Pizza. Yum!! On our Sunday Funday.

We usually go for the pizza. Can't say enough good about it. Always good and tasty. Sit inside or outside depending on the weather.

They got my order wrong and gave the most half assed salad. I don't think I would ever come here again for such poor quality food.

We were lucky enough to get last minute seating at the bar - likely because it was a Monday night. We walked here from our hotel (Cloudveil) which only took 5-7 minutes. It's a quaint restaurant that keeps it's mountain town essence as the space is a converted home with an outdoor patio facing the quiet neighborhood street. While the food is elevated it doesn't feel pretentious and maintains a laid back local's feel despite alot of tourists stopping by. While we love cocktails and were impressed with the menu, we were in a wine mood. They have a petite selection of wines by the glass but there's plenty of bottles to choose from. For appetizers we were in the mood for light and refreshing, so the bartender recommended the caesar salad with fresh anchovies. It was perfect for us to share and we loved it. He also mentioned the pasta was house made, so we knew we had to try it. We ordered the fusilli which was so flavorful in spite of being a very simple dish. Our neighbors sitting next to us ordered it first and said it was some of the best they've ever had and they're from NY and have high standards. For our main entree we shared the trout which is from Idaho. I am not that familiar with trout and always forget it's not a white fish but similar to salmon in looks (pink in color) and taste. We really enjoyed it. Lastly, we usually always say no to desert but when in Jackson! The house made panna cotta was perfection - not too sweet. This is a must stop visit for your trip to Jackson.

I ordered the elk bolognese (and I am a bolognese snob) it was incredible... I am dreaming of coming back to order this again. The apps were great too (Caesar & ricotta app) The s'mores dessert was super good but by that point I was too full! Anyways I'll def be back next time in in Jackson!

We shared a watermelon salad and I got the Lamb Rigatoni ala Vodka. Both were delicious! The salad was beautiful, with greens resting over an entire slice of watermelon. It was refreshing and exactly what I wanted. My pasta was also perfect. Super flavorful and saucy. My companion ordered the Angus New York. It was cooked to order and the sides were also cooked well. I took some leftovers home, so I got to enjoy the food over two days. That was appreciated since the cost was definitely in the mid-range. It was worth it though. I'd 100% come back and try more when I'm in the area again.

I loved that the kids were able to play outside in the yard while the adults chatted over appetizers and waited on the mains and pizzas. We had some of their fresh Woodfire, pizzas, chicken, Parmesan, and salmon. Everyone loved their dishes. the pizzas were big enough for 2 to 3 of the kids to split the chicken Parmesan was also a very healthy portion, and the salmon was delightful. I would order the salmon again without hesitation. The chefs cooked it perfectly to my request. Service was also attentive and friendly.
