I took no pictures because I was eating in the car and just dove in, but it was well-wrapped for the journey. I was kicking myself after leaving for not remembering to ask for no onion, only to discover that, thankfully, they didn't put raw onion on it! I was delighted, and this may be the best chicken shawarma I've ever had. The meat was flavorful and plentiful for a small order, and to my utter joy there were strips of pickle tucked in with the meat! It was such a delicious mouthful that I was really wishing I'd gotten the full size after all! It's better that I didn't, and now I can't wait to go back again and try more things, like the shawarma fries! Parking can be difficult so be prepared to hunt and maybe walk a bit. The staff was all woman and while they weren't chatty, they were all diligently doing prep, which is necessary. I honestly can't wait for the chance to come back soon!

First off, parking is a pain, but not unusual for places in this area. And the place, it's sort of a hole in the wall. As a general fan of holes in the wall, didn't bother me, but if you need a place to be spotless and comfortable, maybe not for you. 3 of us, so got the chicken wrap, lamb/beef wrap and lamb/beef arabi style. The best thing was the fries. Perfectly fried and seasoned. The wraps were good. The chicken had a ton of cinnamon, where even my son who loves it was saying, "that's a lot of cinnamon". The lamb/beef was good. Both wraps were big, well built, had great meat to veg to sauce ratio throughout and did not come across too dry like other places. Ask for the spicy sauce. The drinks were interesting. My wife got one of the Freez drinks, which she said was ok. I got a Vimto which had artificial sweeteners in it, which I hate. Serves me right for having a "when in Rome" attitude and not reading the can. Overall, it was good, but would I drive over to go again, probably not. To me, it didn't live up to the hype (3.5 stars and I rounded up), and didn't really set itself apart from other places that are a little cheaper, or more expensive places that are a little better.

They got the food out fast and my group really enjoyed it. I personally prefer the chicken shawarma. The service was fantastic and it was our first time. They gave us recommendations and the falafels came out fresh. The place is definitely better than the chain places I've been too. It's in a cozy plaza. Definitely my go to spot in the future.

Double Combo Plate - Turmeric Rice - Chicken Shawarma and Gyro Beef - The Works (Everything included) - Tzatziki sauce - Falafel (Side) - Waffle Fries (Side) Okay, the presentation of the combo plate wasn't the most aesthetically pleasing, but I looked past it. Unfortunately, the chicken and beef were lacking in flavor and were pretty dry. The portions were generous, though the gyro beef was sliced pretty thin. The veggies were actually fresh, which was a plus. The hummus was on the lighter side flavor-wise, while the Baha Ghanouj had a solid roasted aftertaste. The Achilles spread was... interesting. It was very fatty with a garlic aftertaste. It just wasn't my thang. The waffle fries were cool. They were fried well and had a good crunch, but nothing special. The falafel, though, was pretty disappointing. I'm not sure if I just got a bad batch. They were very crunchy, but had a weird dish-soap aftertaste that I couldn't get past. I couldn't finish the rest. Sorry, but I'll be on the lookout for another Mediterranean spot.

I ordered the chicken shawarma bowl, a saffron chicken wrap, hummus and falafel on the side. The flavors did not do it for me. I love tang but nothing tasted pickled. The hummus had a wierd after taste and a tang that lingered like a bad aftertaste. I understand lemon but it wasn't fresh citrus. I've had such amazing hummus in my life and this did not come close. Falafels arrived warm and they are good. Nothing extraordinary. Hummus came with 1 pita and the texture of pita was off. It did not look or taste like pita. My wrap was saffron chicken wrap with fiery sauce, all veggies and no tomatoes. It was a nice wrap but chicken was scanty. I had to hunt for chicken. Again, their sauces did not do it for me. My husband's chicken shawarma bowl was good. He liked the crispy chickpeas in the bowl. On the plus side, whatever chicken my wrap had, tasted nicely charred. The purple cabbage had nice crunch in the wrap.

All the seatings are outside and covered, like a decorated front porch of the house. I really liked that it was almost empty and the decorated big fat tree and everything looked really beautiful. We ordered a standard California wet burrito, you've to select the sauce - not spicy, mild, or spicy. The burrito was made with care- inside was a filling of fried rice actually - with some bell peppers, thinly sliced zucchini and cabbage. And very little beans (not a fan of that- I need my protein). And it wasn't too cheesy- so liked that as well. This fried rice filling tasted really good. But I did not like the sauce, but my partner did. So yea I'd suggest to select that sauce really carefully - makes or breaks the dish. I think I just don't like smoked sauces. I tasted the 911 sauce (they gave me some on request) and I liked it better - but it was actually spicy(I am an Indian). Indeed it will be best wet burrito I could ever get with the right sauce. Two things I wasn't a fan of - I'd expect at least a glass or two of water for all what we paid. At least ask me, and then a side of chips and salsa, I think that's a standard too. Don't make me feel like you're not doing me a favor for running a restaurant. I also had to order at the pay station and pay upfront, just mentioning. Otherwise the staff was nice to me and waited patiently while I was deciding my order and sauce haha. Would I return again? Maybe, it was a $21 burrito (including tips). Street parking - may need some planning depending on the time.

It used to be very warm and inviting and that's no longer the case. This used to be a place that we would highly recommend but the quality and customer service has rapidly declined. They are located in a little strip mall on Alma Ave a few doors down from The Giving Pie. The parking lot is not huge but it we were able to find parking with no problem. The inside is nicely decorated with pictures of famous places in Greece. It's not huge inside but cozy with several tables for inside seating as well as a patio outside for outdoor seating. You can scan the QR code at your table or order at the front counter. We ordered from the front counter. We ordered the highly recommended Mousaka, the 3 piece plate with a side of green Greek salad. We chose the chicken skewer, pork skewer, and bifteki for our 3 meat choices as well as an order of Spanikopita. Our food was delivered to our table promptly. I grew up eating my Mom's Mousaka and I've eaten it in Athens, Naxos and Santorini. Let me tell you, their Mousaka was excellent. The eggplant, potato, meat filling and béchamel on the top were perfect. It's definitely a must try. The three skewers of meat were so flavorful and juicy. Both my husband and I loved it!! The pita bread it came with so warm and soft. The Spanikopita was fresh and hot. Delicious flaky phyllo dough with a savory spinach interior. The salads that came with each dish were also wonderful. Their feta on the top was so good and I loved the Kalamata olives. Customer service here was great. The young lady that helped us when we ordered was very friendly and helpful. It started getting busy inside while we were eating and I can see why. This is delicious homemade Greek food made from the heart. We will be coming here more often, now that we know about this place. There are many other things we are looking forward to trying.

The portions are serious, the chicken is juicy, and the breading has a great crunch. What really sets them apart for me is the spice. I've had levels 3, 4, and 5, and they're not simply the same seasoning with progressively more heat. Each level actually has a different pepper profile and flavor. Level 3 brings cayenne and Thai chili, level 4 moves into Thai chili and habanero, and level 5 adds habanero and ghost pepper. You can taste the difference, not just feel more burn. The seasoned fries are great too and they definitely don't skimp on the portions. It is a little pricey for a chicken sandwich and fries, but when you see the size and quality of what you're getting, I think it's worth it. Scratch is easily one of my favorite hot chicken spots.
