I was looking for a new place to have dinner on a Friday night and Kebab Shop fit the bill. Thanks to other Yelpers for suggesting this. The parking lot at this busy complex is always a little full, but it was easy enough to find someone leaving. When we walked in, we were greeted by the manager, and looked over the menu. I heard so many people raving about the fries that I knew I had to order the crave fries. I also ordered the mezze crunch. My companion did the build your own bowl and he went with a healthy lettuce-based bowl. They have calorie counts on the menu and have suggestions for high-protein if that's your thing. The food is made fresh and was really good. They had a video playing on a screen of how they make the food, and it was interesting seeing how many garlic cloves go into the yogurt sauce. We stopped by The Kebab Shop during an outing on our way to Essa, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. We ordered the Green Bowl, a Chicken Shawarma sandwich, and the Chicken Shawarma Plate, and everything was delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The service was outstanding--everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I was looking for a place to have lunch so I used Yelp to find the best rated spot where I was located. The Kebab Shop looked to be the best choice. The cashier was friendly and helpful. I was excited for everything I picked for my bowl. When my buzzer went off I went to collect my bowl and it was packed Togo. The cashier didn't ask if it was for here or to go and assumed Togo. The only issue with that is the qty of items is normally less and the lid was loaded with my sauces that I had to scrape off. But the food was fresh and delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had a nice flavor. I'll come back again for sure but will be sure to state "here" vs getting a to go bowl. read more

The first time we came here (06/09/26) the wraps were amazing. The guy at the front that worked during that time was super nice, and our wraps were super full and bursting with fresh flavors. Wait time was slightly long, but it was fine. We came back a second time during dinner today. There were different staff but the wraps were lacking from the first time. They were still tasty, but less full and not as fresh. The fries were more soggy, the meat tougher, the whole wrap just less flavorful overall. I think the worst part though was the wait time. My partner and I waited about 40 minutes for our food and they gave us our wraps at different times, like 10 minutes apart. Also, we paid for beef and chicken in one wrap but they forgot the chicken, unfortunately we had already gone home by the time we noticed it was missing. Also a note the shop wasn't even full with only 3 parties so I'm not sure why it took so long for the food to be made for the people seated in the restaurant. They seemed to be pumping out a lot of to-go/Doordash orders, and making all of those before the in-shop customers. Service was distant. The area where the cutlery are were out of forks, so Gavin had to go up to ask for one. Instead of giving him 2 forks, he had to wait for it to be stocked. Came earlier this evening on Wednesday 2/5 and ordered two wraps. Not sure if the employee who prepared and rolled our wraps is brand new or was having a bad day but these wraps were not up to their recent standards. My last 4-5 visits - the wraps were made perfectly and this place has become back in my weekly rotation. Going to chalk this one up as a one off but wanted to provide feedback so this individual can get the necessary training. To summarize our wraps - there was a lack of meat. I ordered the chicken tenderloin and there must have been a total of 6 pieces in that entire wrap. I had to re-check my wrap after a few bites, it almost felt like I was eating a veggie wrap. The few pieces of meat that was put in there was all on the very right side of the wrap. They normally wrap it properly where each bite is consistent. My wife's wrap had the same issues as well. Going to continue to come here but if this is going to be new standard, going to have to opt out. read more

I love kabobs and Mediterranean food so when I saw this kabob place in Almaden Ranch I decided to try it. The food is so good. I got chicken kabobs dinner one for me and one for my husband. The chicken was cooked just the way I like it . We each got to choose 2 sides and you get a small piece of pita with it an a little container of I think tahini dip? We passed by here a few times and checked out pictures of their food. The fries always looked delicious so we finally tried them out. Crave Fries | $5.50 A yummy bowl of fries topped with yogurt sauce, feta cheese, mint, and red onions. Everything goes together very well. Wish they filled up the bowl with fries though, especially since it's a smaller container than what they used to use based on older pictures on Yelp. Potatoes are a cheap starch after all. I originally wanted to get meat on the fries too but that's an extra +$8 just for a small bit of meat. The bowl the fries are served in is just a small brown bowl and the fries don't even fill it to the top. So I can just imagine that it wouldn't be a good portion of meat either. But anyway, just the Crave Fries are good enough. Would recommend trying those over normal fries. read more

I'm a bit sad that the points system for the Kebab Shop expires at the end of the year rather than one year from the date of purchase because I thought I had some points from October but saw that it was just 0 points and that the points that I accrued from my most recent visit is valid till Dec 31. I've tried their plates, bowls, and wraps and their wraps are usually my favorite; however, the same cannot be said for my most recent visit where I need to assess whether or not it's worth it to come here anymore. I had a chicken wrap and the contents of the wrap were fine but you could definitely tell that they had accidentally burnt the wrapper and pinched off the burnt bubbles to make my wrap. So all I really tasted was "burntness". I tried adding the cilantro jalapeno sauce to cover up the burntness but that didn't really work out all that well. Mainly only saying it might not be worth it due to the price point for the wrap where I could have gotten a whole meal from the Habit Burger next door. ~~Parking: Located in a strip mall. There's not that much parking in front of the actual restaurant but if you go towards the side with Ulta and the Bass Pro Shops there's much more parking. ~~Service: Ok. Tried this spot for the first time yesterday and I love it! I got the grains bowl with grilled kofta, truffle brown rice, and everything except for red cabbage. The kofta is so flavorful, tender, and worth the extra charge. The brown rice's texture is perfect! Portions are a little small for a $16 bowl, but other than that it's really good and I'd definitely come back. There's a tablet you can order from and some tables outside as well. read more

All the ingredients tasted fresh and went well together. Don't forget to stop by the sauce bar for some garlic yogurt, chili, and cilantro jalapeño sauce!! It literally tied the whole bowl together. This place is awesome! First, the food is delicious. I've tried the gyro meat (carved lamb/beef), the chicken schwarma, and saffron chicken as well as all of the sides. The meat is tender and savory and the greek salad has a lot of greens in addition to the cucumber and tomato which I love. Their tzatziki, sauces, and pitas are great too! I ordered them for catering and was amazed at how easy the experience is. You can order fairly last minute even for large amounts (I ordered 2 days before) and they are very generous with their portions. Everyone who ate remarked on how good the food was. I also chose delivery which was done through doordash and was well packed and exactly on-time to what I had requested. Came here with my boyfriend over the weekend maybe around 8pm. It wasn't busy inside, but we ordered for takeout. I ordered the grilled steak plate with Greek salad and falafel. My boyfriend got the beef and lamb wrap! The grilled steak was being grilled fresh, so they told us to wait a bit which we didn't mind at all. I enjoyed my meal, the steak was definitely grilled and on a kabob stick haha. The dressing they gave us for the Greek salad was delicious. I would get extra next time just to dip the food in. My boyfriend enjoyed his wrap. His only complaint was that he added extra fries to his wrap which is an extra dollar, but felt like they only added 3 fries in there. I've been a big fan of the Kebab Shop for years (see my previous happy review). I needed to get food for a small party at my house on Saturday and I ordered two of their family packs online to pick up an hour later. The food wasn't ready at the promised time but it was only a few minutes late. Unfortunately, when my husband arrived back home with the food, we realized they had forgotten the 8 pitas. So frustratingly, my husband had to leave the party go back to the restaurant, wait for them to heat up the pitas and then come back. Meanwhile, my guests and I are all standing around the food in the kitchen watching the hot food get cold and my guests are joking around about how much they can't wait to have pitas. The food was good but this massive annoyance and my husband having to miss out in half hour of the party because they forgot to pack all of the food we had ordered was deeply frustrating. Taking off a star because the dining floor was very unkempt with litter over the floor along with unclean tables...
