    Honduran fried chicken
    Ata A.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! It's a mix of Mexican and traditional Honduran cuisine. The Mexican cuisine is mostly from the region of Nayarit, so as the name suggests it's heavily seafood oriented. The chips and salsa verde were delicious! I had the Honduran fried chicken and I choose the dark meat! The sauce on the chicken was delicious, the pickled Honduran salads and sides were also scrumptious. The service was stellar, and we had great convo with our waiter. We enjoyed all of the dishes served!

Went here on a International Marketplace Lunch Tour with Mary Clark Executive Director of International marketplace Coalation. Arturo the owner set up a buffet for the group probably 30 of us. They don't have a buffet that was just a way for us to taste the food and the food was amazing. Everything we at is on the menu. The quesadilla had pork and lots of cheese. Enchiladas the green salsa was a little spicy but I enjoyed it. Red sauce also good. The chicken fajitas lots of chicken red and green peppers and onions. I didn't have room on my plate for the beef so didn't try it. Corn tortillas rolled in foil were soft and hot. Refried black beans and the Mexican rice very good. Arturo staff fixed us a desert that was chocolate cake with flan on top. I cant wait to go back and get to he flan it was really good. The staff was great the food was good and they serve alcohol.

It's really easy to overlook this place but please don't be confused this place is definitely a hidden gem on the west side of Indianapolis!!! They have an extensive selection of tequila. The food is absolutely bomb. The service is great even though it was a little bit of a language barrier when we were there, it was a mariachi band performing. I'm not sure if that's something that they do regularly but it was definitely a nice touch.

Stop everything! Go here now. The food is amazing! Authentic (non-Americanized) Mexican cuisine. No chips and salsa to fill you up- just a small cup of delicious soup to waken your palate to the fresh delicious entrees! The molcajete was huge, flavorful and incredibly seasoned. The fajitas were also huge, perfectly cooked and delicious. No drink menu (yet) but there are many posted on their page. They've only been open a week-- I can't imagine how busy this place will be once word gets out!!

We arrived for an early lunch at 11:30 and the restaurant only had 2 other patrons. The restaurant can easily handle large groups with many 4 top tables and booths as well as bar seating. The full bar has tables and booth seating for 21 and older. We started with a Peruvian appetizer called Papa Huancaina which is boiled potatoes in a bright yellow, spicy creamy sauce called huancaina sauce originally from Lima, Peru. I enjoyed the slightly spicy sauce served over the tender potatoes. Lunch specials are affordable ranging from $6.99 - $7.99 and served from 11:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m. For lunch I ordered the Chicken Fajitas served with the normal bell peppers, onions, tomatoes served with rice, black beans and lettuce topped with sour cream. The presentation is lovely served on a long, rectangular plate. The meat was tender, just a bit oily for me, and the black beans were very tasty. The tortillas are home made, but I didn't particularly care for. Not sure why?? Just something missing. I enjoyed my meal and wouldn't hesitate to go back. However, we still prefer La Haceinda which is directly across the street.

Delicious food! Friendly staff. Would 100% recommend. The food is very authentic, its not your run of the mill mexican restaurant. This feels like someones aunt decided to open up a restaurant and serve all the family favorites!

I really enjoyed La Mestiza! They are featured as part of Savor, which is a great way to try new international restaurants. We started off with a chicken noodle soup, which is served instead of the chips and salsa. They have different types of ceviche - shrimp and fish! I preferred the fish. Their chicken enchiladas are mouth watering. I'm so glad we visited this restaurant because it has earned a spot in my weekly rotation. See you soon, La Mestiza. Pro tip: They have karaoke on the weekends and live music on Sundays.

Not only is the food here amazing, but the service and the owners are as well. Where to start... Maybe with the ceviche.... it was amazing. I took it home to my husband and ate it for lunch the next day. It is easy to see that everything here is homemade right down to the tortillas, and it shows in the look and the taste. I highly recommend checking this place out as soon as you can.

Some were quietly relaxing while others were catching up over drinks. The coffeehouse-meets-cocktail-bar aesthetic is well executed and gives the space a distinct personality. I ordered the nonalcoholic Basil Needs a Break, and it was excellent. If you like basil, this drink definitely delivers. It was bright, refreshing, and very basil-forward. The service was friendly and welcoming. My only complaint was the temperature inside. It was nearly 100 degrees outside, but the bar felt warm with very little air circulation. It was almost refreshing to step back into the muggy heat after leaving, which probably isn't the feeling you're hoping to give your guests. I'd definitely come back for the drinks and atmosphere, but I'd hope for a cooler temp next time.

From the moment I walked in, I was obsessed with the atmosphere and all the thoughtful details that make the space feel so unique. I love that it effortlessly transforms from a cozy coffee shop by day into a cocktail bar at night--the vibes are immaculate no matter when you visit. The staff was exceptional and so helpful in walking me through the menu. One of my favorite things to do is ask the baristas what they recommend, and they definitely didn't disappoint. I went with a blueberry vanilla iced latte, and it was the perfect way to kick off my Friday.

I went for brunch during the week and wanted to get some work done, so posted up at the bar with a vanilla latte (amazing) and ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon added (phenomenal). Bar service was excellent and I'm at an age where I appreciated that the barstools had backs to them. Ordinarily, you can grab a menu to peruse, find a seat, and then order at the counter when you're ready (and linger as you please, returning to the counter when you're ready to close out), but bar seating was full service. Plenty of open spaces to fill across from Center Point Brewing. LOTs of construction going on in the surrounding building at the up and coming Factory Arts District. Didn't seem to stop people from working there remotely though. It was nice to go on a Monday afternoon while there was plenty of parking in the lot although there is street parking nearby as well.

This is one of my favorite places for craft cocktails because there's always something new to try. Their menu changes seasonally, so even if you've been before, you'll usually find new creations alongside their signature cocktails. The drinks are true works of art, both in flavor and presentation. On my most recent visit, I tried a cocktail off the Pride menu called the Stonewall, and it was absolutely delicious. It had a beautiful pink color, and I loved the glass it was served in. The presentation is always top notch. Service was good. The drink was also only $10, which is pretty cheap for the quality compared to other places. We didn't stay long this visit, but it's always one of my go to spots to relax, catch up with friends, and enjoy expertly crafted cocktails. An added bonus is that you can order food from Goodfellas Pizza and enjoy it while you're in the lounge, making it an even better experience.
