Love their lunch buffet. They have different options for lunch so the nugget is never the same. They make fresh tortillas and they are AMAZING

On vacation from California and decided to go to Mar y Sol for dinner. This place is unbelievably delicious! We had a large party and everyone loved their dishes. I had the shrimp cocktail and the base was on point, have never had a cocktail like this one, the perfect blend of tomato sauce and had an abundance of shrimp. Totally worth the price. My husband had the Camarons a la Momia, they sauce was spicy, sweet, Cajun like. We also had Camarones a la diabla and dam they were spicy but so good we couldn't stop eating them. The owner, Don Pepe, was so nice, even made us hand made tortillas. This place is a must must try!

This is the Burrito Fajita de Carne

I ordered the Burrito Fajita de Carne , it would be perfect except for the fact that I'm allergic to dairy products and 3 separate times they put cheese on the order so I had to call grubhub to get it replaced, even though I typed in capital letters that "no cheese because I'm severely allergic to dairy products " and to make matters worse a lady called me back and asked if I had proof wtf who lies over 20 dollars ? So I politely asked her for a mobile number and I sent her a pic of the food with the cross contamination of dairy products and she said ok ‍, no apologies or nothing so the food is excellent when it's prepared correctly but I've had more bad orders than correct ones

My venture to find good menudo was what led me to Mar y Sol. I've had menudo from 4 Mexican restaurants here, and Mar y Sol had the best I've had in Indianapolis. Cooked perfectly and extremely flavorful. Instead of chips and salsa as a complimentary appetizer they have a tilapia ceviche. The margaritas are very reasonably priced. Everything is good and they would have gotten 5 stars if the oysters weren't terrible; stay away. I recommend Mar y Sol for there extensive food menu and their drinks.

Lunch buffet is always amazing. I'm not sure why this place isn't better known and packed every day. Everything is delicious and fresh. If you're a fan of buffets and flavors like no others, try this place!

It has been over ten years since my original review of Fort Ben Pub, a locally owned pub and grill…read moretype establishment located in the Fort Ben area in the same strip center that includes Moo & Lou's Ice Cream and Phaya Thai. There's a wheelchair ramp in the middle of the building - I'll be honest, I don't quite trust it as I've noticed people in this parking area tend to block it without noticing it. There's also easy access from a ramp at the end of the building. Lawrence has done quite a bit to improve their curb cuts in this area, an area that has grown massively since my last review including 2-3 apartment buildings, a library branch, and an improved civic plaza. Fort Ben Pub itself is pretty accessible, though it becomes less so when it's packed (for example, my most recent visit was on a Friday karaoke night and accessibility was definitely more limited). There's two glass doors going inside the pub and, yes, they do offer a few tables on the sidewalk for outside dining. As you enter, you arrive in a large dining area with a beautiful bar to the right. The restaurant is decorated in warm woods with a few televisions of varying sizes and, on this evening, background music playing. On this visit, I was with a festival after-party that was placed off the main area in a smaller area that had two pool tables along with a variety of food/appetizers, etc. It's a cozy room that gave me a chance to check out the rest of the building. I did see the restrooms, which I would definitely not consider accessible - plan accordingly. I could possibly get in the door of the men's restroom, but it was quite tight and I have a smaller chair. This is a beloved place for a friend of mine who lives nearby and within walking distance. They treat her well. She was there during this visit, and I honestly just smiled at their clear affection for her (it's mutual). I love places that become community, and knowing this makes me want to return. That said, my accessibility concerns do somewhat limit my options. Fort Ben Pub does offer space for private events/groups and does catering. They have pool tables, Putt Putt live, Mega Touch, and Golden Tee and most of the sports network channels. While I'd tried both their tenderloin and burger in the past, I had a variety of items this time around due to the after-party, though not everything it seems was on the menu (or I'm just not recognizing it). As I noted previously and my friend also proves, the employees are super friendly and helpful. There are definitely times when it gets busy, though it's also pretty easy to come here during slower times. This particular visit was the first time I'd experienced accessibility issues. There's an awful lot to love here. I have to say that while I wasn't in the room with karaoke, the people were having a blast with such sincere enthusiasm that I was almost in awe. I've done karaoke one time in my life, and I don't think there's enough alcohol in the world to fuel another attempt. I also know from being close to the folks at Moo & Lou that these businesses watch out for each other - which I really like as it's a nice little safety factor. In the end, my star rating isn't changing but my appreciation for Fort Ben Pub has grown. This visit made me want to return in the near future, and it made me grateful for those places where you can get so comfortable that it feels like the people become part of your village. That's Fort Ben Pub.

The environment was very dead when we came, but hopefully maybe just because it wasn't sports going on that day.

Turns out the entire heated patio is first come, first served, and we were seated almost immediately. It was one of those windy Indiana afternoons where the cold finds every gap in your jacket. I fully expected to spend lunch shivering. Somehow, the heated patio felt warmer than the restaurant itself. Between the TVs, football on every screen, and the patio heaters, we had zero complaints. Now let's talk about the famous pepperoni-stuffed breadsticks. They're a must. And order your own nacho cheese. Seriously. Don't expect anyone to share. I could eat a shoe dipped in their cheese and probably enjoy every bite. The breadsticks always arrive piping hot, stuffed with gooey mozzarella, and if we're judging on a cheese-pull scale...I'm giving them a solid 7/10 on the stretch meter. As for our server, Zach...what a true gem. He's one of those people I'd honestly be surprised to hear anyone say they didn't like. Funny, quick with the jokes, and somehow kept up with the chaos without missing a beat. He also made sure my lemon drop martinis never had a chance to get lonely. Since I wasn't driving, he happily assisted me in...staying hydrated. The place was busy enough that we couldn't stand around chatting long, but he's the kind of person you'd genuinely enjoy running into again. We've been here twice now, and both visits have been consistently great. Whether you're stopping in to catch the game, escape the cold on the heated patio, or simply satisfy a craving for those ridiculously good breadsticks, Ale Emporium continues to be one of our favorite spots. Just don't skip the breadsticks...and trust me, order your own cheese. You'll understand after the first bite.

Well, that morning Sherman was at black owned boutique wine shop call B Legendary, and the owner is Carmen Randolph. I love exploring new wines, and visiting local wine shops, as well as wine boutiques. Yesterday, Saturday Oct 23rd I invited my sister-in-law, and friend checkout B Legendary Wine Boutique. When, you go to the B Legendary Wine Boutique website, you'll subscribe, and then you'll get a free wine tasting. The location is on the far East side, and not too far from Daniel's Vineyard. Upon, entering inside there's a sign outside her building about the tasting wine hours along with the new flavors to taste. Walking in the wine boutique shop there are no stairs, small yet felt very warm, and home like. The decor in the wine boutique shop is so pretty, the owner Carmen Randolph does offer small bottles of wines, and big bottles. The shop did open in mid 2019, not only can you go to B Legendary Wine Boutique for wine, but the wine shop also offers candle making classes. The wines that Carmen make the ABV are on higher in from 12% to 16%. When, you subscribe you'll get that free wine tasting of 5 selected wines of your choice. I had pineapple, lemon drop, pear, peach, and blackberry lime. In, additional I did taste new flavors carmel Apple, and orange krush. The bathroom is small, yet very clean as well nice decor. I'll definitely go back there for candle making classes. Going to B Legendary Wine Boutique is great to bring your friends for the tastings, date, or just exploring local wines in Indy.
