He came to install an outside light and move my dining room light. While at my house he took his time to thoroughly research and find out why two of my outlets weren't working in my 1978 house. He also installed a new light over my sink and a new GFI outlet in my kitchen. He also pointed out that my old wired smoke detectors were not working properly and were about 30 years old. Even though I have others in the house he took the time to explain why it was a good idea to replace them with new ones that are also carbon monoxide detectors. I appreciated the way he explained why I needed them. I now feel safer with the new ones installed. I had him come back a second day to change out my kitchen lights and add a light to my shower. When he finished my house, I took him to my daughter's house where he figured out the issue with her kitchen lights and installed a light over her sink. He took his time and made sure everything worked properly before he left. I liked Jayce because he cared about his work and ensured it was right. He was very conscientious. I haven't met someone with this level of customer service in a long time. I highly recommend Mr Electric especially when Jayce is your electrician.

i must say that i am extremely disappointed in their services. i contracted them for gutter clean…read moreand inspection. their 1st technician came out, looked at the gutters and took the job. they charged me over $1100 for the service. a few days later, i had the tree trimmers out and they took pictures of the gutters that where not cleaned. after contacting them, their 2nd technician who came out was not prepared to perform the jo, amazing. he did end up cleaning the gutters that i found where not cleaned but with the tools he had or lack of, all he could do was blow it out. it made a mess in my pool and on the steps. further, he had no way to clean it and when i suggested a shop vac, he did not have one. so i brought out my shop vac and instead of offering to use it to clean up the significant mess that was made, he left me to clean up after him. this is not the kind of service one should expect. i run a services company myself and i can tell you from first hand knowledge that if i did this to my customers, i would have no business. when the 1st tech arrived to my house to give me an estimate, i told him to take a good look as the house is very big. he advised at that time the very top gutters he was not able to do and did not feel comfortable getting that high even if he had a ladder tall enough. i am reasonable and i do care about people's safety so i told him that was fine. at no point was i told that he could not do the missed gutters and when he came back out, he looked at it and just left. 2 days later another guy shows up and i have the experience as noted above. if they could not do the job in its entirety then they should have not taken the job. they charged me over $1100, they did not complete the work in a timely fashion, they where not prepared and did not do a full job. further, i had to clean up their mess. i am also upset that they did not even verify all the other gutters where cleaned thus i now have to inspect all the gutters again to make sure nothing was missed as i cannot trust what you they have done. i tried to resolve this with them but it seems that this is not important enough to work with me on or they just do not care. to all reading this - be very weary of using this company, especially if you are in plano, texas! oh and they charge $109/hr

These people came in during our emergency pipe burst situation and took advantage of us. They are part of Your Home Expert, a contractor business. YHE told us they would "fight for more payout" because the mitigation company chipped a tiny bit of tile in the hallway while they were tearing out the carpet. Red flag! They are the mitigation company! They know how to game the system so insurance pays out more, and who suffers? You, the policyholder, and your neighbors, whose premiums are just going to go up as a result of higher insurance payout. They claimed they found a mouse in the wall when drilling the holes to dry out the walls. I find this unlikely, because the holes are so small and spaced apart. The odds of drilling directly into a mouse? Small. This was confirmed when I spoke with an actual reputable company, who said that the likelihood is incredibly low. And, even if they did find a half-skeletal mouse, that is not grounds to elevate to Category 3--if anything, they would just cut out that area and clean that area. Speaking with a reputable company made it very clear the difference between a legit, respectable company and this Restoration "Experts" company. Bigger companies try to do as little as possible and be as minimally disruptive as possible. Restoration "Experts" tries to extract as much payout as possible from your stressful emergency situation. They manipulate you into thinking it's "YHE + you VS. Insurance Co" but it's not. If you just ask your insurance company for help, they will help you. ALSO, PSA, if you own your home (no mortgage), YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH THE INSURANCE MONEY (policy depending). Don't let these people lie to you and tell you that you have to use X money for X, because it is NOT true (policy depending). That is straight from the insurance company itself. Double check your policy to confirm but that was the case for me with my insurance company. YHE will probably try to threaten you and say they'll report you to your insurance company and TDI, but news flash! They have no basis to do so and are just trying to scare you. Don't trust these people. Go with a more reputable company. Please.
