If you're looking for a great casual seafood spot in the Pembroke Pines area, this place is a must-visit. The food is incredibly flavorful, and the portions are very generous. The restaurant itself is spotless and has a welcoming, pleasant vibe. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. At most casual spots, you wouldn't expect a cashier to check in on your meal -- but Aniyah went out of her way to come to our table to deliver the food and make sure everything was perfect after. She's a fantastic representative of the restaurant and really enhanced the experience. Highly recommend both the Nola Bowl (Broiled Cod) and Boil in a Bowl -- you won't be disappointed!

We ordered delivery from Mr. Shrimp after a recommendation from a coworker. The food arrived hot and packaged securely. We ordered the fried fish meal, boil in a bowl, Miami bowl, hushpuppies and shrimp and crab boil in a bag. The fried fish was grouper and came with three pieces. The breading was the perfect amount and fish was good and not overly fishy. I also enjoyed the crab salad that came with the meal. It was a nice change from cole slaw. Both bowls were flavorful and portioned well. The boil in a bag was plentiful, tasty and came with instructions on how to open it to avoid a mess. The hushpuppies are on the smaller side but really good. We loved everything we ordered and will definitely return and try some other menu items.

I was shocked at how good the food was here!! This restaurant is located right next to Panera Bread on pines blvd. The cashier was nice and allowed me to sample the mint lemonade before purchasing it. I ordered the shrimp and fish meal which included fries and crab salad. Thankfully everything was served FRESH and HOT!! Shrimp 5/5 Fries 5/5 Fish 5/5 Mint lemonade 5/5 Crab salad 5/5 Oh I'll definitely go back !!

My fellow yelpers did not disappoint! Their reviews were spot on!! The food was so good and their prices were very reasonable. At first I was little nervous because the restaurant was empty but I proceeded with confidence based off the Yelp reviews!! The fried shrimp, conch, and boil bowl were magnificent!! I can't wait to return to try more menu items!

Was craving some seafood so went with the Boil in a Bag: Shrimp & Crab Cluster. Pretty good for the price!

What a unique casual dining restaurant, that started in mid Florida. They have shrimp in their name, but found the fish to be delicious. Wonderful fresh seafood display at the walkup ordering counter. Service was very friendly & fairly quickly for freshly cooked seafood. I can't wait to return & try more items, at this charming hidden find.

Very pleasantly pleased with this less restauranty style seafood boil place. The prices are hard to beat. In terms of quality and quantity, what you get seems fair for what you pay. I've gotten the crab and shrimp boil to go twice so far. Easy to order online. Packed nicely to take home. I even got gloves. I also ordered the fries the first time and didn't really need it because there were so many little and large potatoes in my boil. I hate that other places give you literally one potato and one corn, so this was awesome. Didn't get as many the second visit but was still more than competitors. I enjoy the sauce. It's not as "crazy" perhaps as others but still tasty. The most critical part is the corn which is a bit mushier. My least anticipated part of a boil so I don't mind.

The food here is ssooo good!! Im from California and in town for a cruise with my daughter and friend and we decided to try this place. I was not disappointed. I called before going and asked when they seat the last customer, I was told 930pm, so I headed over. The gentleman (Todd- I believe he's the owner) that took my order was excellent with his suggestions. He was very knowledgeable and patient. We ended up ordering fried crab legs, conch, chicken tenders, catfish, corn, potatoes, beignets, banana pudding... we were hungry after traveling all day and we ate everything. The catfish was EXCELLENT. Everything came out piping hot after being freshly made. After eating and returning back to our Airbnb, we all were trying to figure out how we can go back after our cruise and eat there again before heading back to Cali. Todd, I'm up at 5am writing a review about how good our meal was. I ate most of my food before I thought to take a picture

Yes, I'm a fan of Mr. Shrimp! I've seen this place in the corner of the plaza several times and finally stopped in to eat here today. My expectations were not too high as it's set up as a fast food concept. You order at the register and they bring your food out to you on a metal tray. The Palm Beach is served in an oval Chinet type paper bowl. The Cajun Ranch dressing is addictive! The corvina was fresh and fried just right. The batter was not too thick where you are hunting for the fish in the fried coating. They sliced the avocado, cucumbers and red cabbage just right and layered it beautifully on the bowl. Next time I order the Palm Beach, I would ask for the quinoa or salad greens as a base instead of the rice. They were nice to give me some sliced limes upon request. The mint lemonade was good, not too sweet with a sprinkle of mint inside. I made friends with the people waiting in line. Then I gave them my table and moved to a smaller one as they had more people in their party. They said that they enjoyed the Boil in a Bowl with beef sausage. They also said that they would be back for more cracked conch with Cajun fried. I will be back by next week, I'm going to have the Bayou with shrimp, red beans, roasted corn, pico de gallo and creamy cilantro sauce. Then I'm definitely having the beignet fries for dessert! I'm going to bring friends along too.

Clarification: Review is for Mr Shrimp Food Truck Mr Shrimp food truck, a nice quick bite with fast service and friendly people working the truck. I got the fish po boy Miami style. But judging from everyone else's orders you probably want to try the shrimp. It exceeded my expectations. The portion was generous the food was good. But what really won me over was the self service section where you could add as much tártara sauce to your sandwich as possible. I also got a side of beignet fries which were exactly what they sound like. Fried bread covered in powdered sugar. Yum!

Full Disclosure. This is my second visit to the restaurant. The first time I visited, I was too busy enjoying the food, to even realize I didn't take photos of what I had eaten. Visit #2 I was determined to take photos so I can leave a review. I already knew that I was going to order the shrimp po' boy or the fish po' Boy. However, what I was not expecting to see, was catfish on the menu. I'm a huge fan of catfish. I decided to get the catfish meal. This was the second best catfish I've ever eaten. The best catfish I've ever eaten? The catfish that I caught and cooked myself. They did a great job with this catfish. It was just enough breading to not overpower the catfish. The french fries always taste great to me. Their version of coleslaw is just epic to me. Both visits have occurred in the middle of the day, the service is efficient, and the food comes in a reasonable time frame. The restaurant has not been noisy during either one of my visits. I can eat my lunch in peace. The staff are friendly. The restaurant is clean. My goal is to eat every single thing on this menu. This is not fast food. They are more expensive than fast food, but not noticeably, and unlike fast food which does not fill you up, their food satisfies my hunger. I can't wait to go back again.

Small cup of Shrimp. Didn't think there was gonna be so many. So good.
