First time at this location. Typical planish decor. A little boring but that is my take on all Bonefish restaurants. Saturday lunch and the place was maybe a quarter full. Menus and drinks were brought quickly but then the wait and the wait and.... We had 5 starving littles and their food took forever, like over 40 minutes. The adult food arrived before. Go figure. I almost got my hand chewed off. Appetizer came right before entree. It was 2 crab cakes which were ok in taste but falling apart. The bread was the winner. The dipping sauce was outstanding. I selected the Cod Imperial with a little mound of mash and a small side salad that the extra cost for was ridiculous for the size. Cod was tasty. It was stuffed with cheese and probably crab meat? My hubby and son in law shared a platter meant for two but it was actually sized for one. After food dropped off server never returned. I finally checked out Bonefish Grill for happy hour with some friends after work on a Friday, and let's just say... it was a vibe shift kind of experience We pulled up around 3:30 (happy hour starts around 3ish), ready for that early turn-up... but it was giving calm, quiet, and seasoned crowd. Not exactly the lively happy hour energy we were expecting. Things didn't really pick up until after 6, so if you're looking for a buzz earlier in the afternoon--this might not be your spot. Now, I'll give credit where it's due: the drinks were good and did what they needed to do and the appetizers were decent enough to hold us over. Nothing mind-blowing, but no complaints either. The bartender started off super friendly and welcoming, which we loved. But as the place got busier, the energy shifted a bit and the attentiveness dropped. You could definitely feel the difference. Overall, I had a great time--but that was 100% because of the company I was with. Would I come back for happy hour? Probably not. Dinner, maybe. Happy hour vibes? This is our second time attending a special event at Bonefish Grill. We had the pleasure of having Kiara as our waitress and she was spectacular. The tables were set up very nice for the event. I want to start this review with one word- finally. Finally! No one could imagine how long I have been wanting to go to Bonefish Grill, that time has come & my expectations were exceeded. We got there at 9:30 & they close @ 10 (user error I know) however we were still greeted with excitement and sat immediately. Our server Angie came to the table and got our drink orders letting us know that the bar was closing soon so if we were drinking to put them in. We got Pineapple & Strawberry Martini's, both were very good but we both agreed the Pineapple was the better tasting option. To start I ordered the charbroiled oysters which were tasty but had a slight fishy taste I probably would not order them again. Now, entrees I was super overwhelmed and felt bad for keeping the kitchen waiting so I told Angie what I liked and had her pick for me. The choice was the Scallops and Shrimp Scampi Pasta which was great, my partner ordered the Pan-Asian Butterfish fish with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Even though it's a Friday, I couldn't believe how busy it was. There was a line out the door when we left. Love the Bang Bang Shrimp. The happy hour drinks are reasonably priced and strong. Our daughter who is no longer vegan wanted a lobster tail to take home. Being the good mother that I am, I opted for a dish that included a lobster tail so she could smell it. I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. I haven't been in years and I really enjoyed their food as well as their service. They're bang bang shrimp tacos were delicious and flavorful. I also got the bacon mac n cheese as a side, it was above average and savory. Leasie was outer server and did a great job, very knowledgeable about the menu and patient with my indecisive mother when she ordered. I have been to a few of the bonefish pairings at different locations and on different days to get a vibe. I love tequilla and was really excited for this pairing. The first course drink was my favorite but the ceviche was a no for me. Second course shrimp stack would have been better without the shrimp. Third course was ok also was not impressed with the second and 3rd drinks one was way too sweet and one just did nothing for me. Now dessert the espresso martini yes I had 2. And now my favorite dish creme brulee the creme part was very tasty but the brulee there supposed to be a hard top you want the Crack to get to the good stuff and I did not have that Crack in the top that I was looking for. Our sever was very nice and accommodating to our friend who was allergic to shrimp and he was very attentive. Service was slow and snarky. Management had never assigned a server to our table (although the host sat us and gave us menus). Six of us waited 20 minutes for the bartender to come out to tell us this was not her table but she could get us some drinks. She stated she was alone at the bar and she was exhausted. The manager (not Adrian) was showing servers pictures on his phone and completely oblivious to customers - obviously not his priority. This is my 8 year old daughter's favorite restaurant. Anytime she has a pick for dinner, she chooses here. She is the biggest fan of the kids meal Mac and cheese with a side of mashed potatoes. The service is always great and the environment is mellow and peaceful. We love just sitting here, plus it's not crazy during the weeknight. I'll start with the happy hour martinis - $8 for a Tito's dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives! The appetizer- you can never go wrong with the bang bang shrimp. Well located at Griffin Rd and Weston Rd. Large bar on the right when you walk in. I suggest getting there by 6pm on Saturday nights since it gets busy. They have comfortable seating in the outside patio area if you have to wait for a table. I always sit in the large booths in the bar area which fits six adults fine. I order the Bang Bang shrimp appetizer and an ice cold beer with a steak. They usually have sporting events showing on all the monitors in the bar area. This is a friendly high conversational restaurant so its loud. Great for a place to eat with friends and family but probably not for a first date. The food is very consistent. Both dishes were great! For dessert we got the coconut cream pie and brownie dessert. The coconut cream pie transported us to Jamaica. The brownie was also very good. We came around sunset time so the restaurant was pretty packed but our server was very attentive and brought everything out quickly. We started with some drinks, the complimentary bread w/ olive oil, and the 'Crab Topped Bang fries' appetizer which is a 10/10 recommend. I also ordered the mahi mahi (not pictured) which came with 2 sides - I got mashed potatoes and caesar salad. I was a little disappointed with the mahi because i felt as if it lacked flavor and could've been better. Whenever I order mahi at a restaurant I always enjoy it but this one I unfortunately didn't. The mashed potatoes and caesar was great. It was my mom's birthday so I took her to lunch. Our server Erin C. was very sweet. I spoke to her on the side and asked her to bring her the DRUNKEN COCONUT PIE and even though they don't sing happy birthday, she brought us the cake with a candle and wished her a happy birthday after dropping it off at the table. Excellent place to go and relax and have a nice dinner. Recommend going to the SOCIAL HOUR for reduced prices on select appetizers and drinks. Food is always very tasty and nicely presented on the plate. My pork tenderloin plate with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli was very well seasoned. My wife had the grilled salmon with the same sides and also was very satisfied with the selection. I must say the food came out a little below "warm" which I did bring up to the waitress. First time ordering a full Bonefish Salad as my Entree because I love it so much, and it was drenched, full of salt and garlic.... and I like lots of dressing, I left over more than half... and I like to eat! Salmon was "BONE DRY", Side orders of Cole Slaw were so salty (one taste) and you couldn't eat it. Server seemed to be so frazzled there was almost no eye contact. I just cant be a complainer in a restaurant, nor do I ever give anything under 20% but what I will do is state my honest review. The Bread and Bang Bang shrimp were on point as usual (and this was a Wednesday in the early evening). We got there about noon and were seated right away. The food did not take much longer to come out.
