Notice no prices on the truck.

My daughter ordered a single vanilla soft serve cone with sprinkles. The gentlemen gave her the cone and she handed him $5 expecting change back. But no, she was told it wasn't enough. What a RIP OFF! Post your prices on the truck and stop ripping kids off.

    Small ice cream cone

The ice cream truck charged me $18 for 1 chocolate shake and a single, SMALL cone. When I approached the truck with my credit card the man said he only accepted Zelle or cash. I paid cash and he didn't even ask if I wanted a receipt. I do not feel that was a fair price. The location of the ice cream truck was cross streets W 77th St and Central Park West (by AMNH and Central Park) on 3/22/2023.

Saw this truck and got a single chocolate cone. My mom also got a vanilla cone with rainbow sprinkles, also a single. The ice cream is really tasty, but the truck never had prices listed. We ended up paying 10 bucks for 2 single icecream cones.

Stalked Mr. Softee on this gorgeous day! After a long, dark winter, Mr. Softee is the answer. This light and fluffy soft serve ice cream is the dream of summer. I love the chocolate/vanilla twist and the sweet cone. Fun for $3.

If you ever find yourself in the NYC area in the spring/ summer go find this truck! On the walk back to our hotel we stumbled upon Mr Softee near Bryant Park. It is literally a soft serve dream. Chocolate dip, cherry dip, sauces, rainbow sprinkles, chocolate sprinkles, double dips, crunchies, waffle cones. Need I really say more? I opted for rainbow sprinkles and a waffle cone and it was so delicious. They only take cash, but so worth it and such a nice change from the typical NYC sidewalk trucks and vendors!

It's what I expected of soft serve ice cream, pretty decent and I would get it again. I only tried this because of reddit lol.

Upon arrival we noticed the difference in crowds. Not as busy and packed sidewalks. Also it was a lot cleaner than Chinatown. Since we just ate at C-Town, it was time to find a good dessert place in K-Town. So we walked and we walked until I saw a banner sign showing shaved ice desserts. Then I noticed the name of the business is Grace Street. How fitting, because that is my wife's name. So we went in and what caught my eye was a mango shaved ice with mangoes, mochi, strawberries, and condensed milk, however I was over ruled by my wife and we went with the black sesame and mochi and condensed milk. It also had red bean, but that had to be on the side, since that gives me gout. Such nice staff taking orders and we went into the dining area to find a seat. What a large spacious area with many tables. Our order came out and it looked so good. The black sesame shaved ice or snow as it's also referred to as, was perfectly sweetened by the condensed milk and the chewy mochi. Definitely cleaned my pallet from our Chinese lunch and it helped cool me down from the New York heat. We got water, but there was no ice offered, so I asked one of the workers and he was kind enough to get me some. We are through that dessert like, if we didn't finish it fast, it was going to melt. We did not give it a chance to melt one bit. The staff here are efficient, as they saw we were done, they asked to clear our dessert bowl away. It was a nice experience even if it was just dessert. They definitely had more dessert options to offer, but i

The generous serving had creamy, silky layers and was easily enough for the two of us to share. Sweet, light, and refreshing. Plenty of seating, generous portions, and a stop here never disappoints! Located on 32nd St, between Broadway & 5th Ave Train: 34 St-Herald Sq (N/Q/R/W); also an easy walk from Penn Station. Overall, a great casual dessert stop after exploring K-Town, Midtown or nearby Chelsea.

Don't remember what I had the previous 20+ years I went there after a group dinner. This time I was influenced & specifically took a bus over for their corn ice cream. It's STILL the summer of corn. Prices are now average - good for a scoop $7.50 & the portion is good compared to other craft ice cream shops in LES. The corn flavor was good. Medium flavor with that corn sweetness. The quality of the ice cream was excellent, medium creamy & very smooth with the teeniest bit of corn blended. Sampled the hazelnut which was great also - like a thick gelato. Would like to try the lychee next time. They have probably 20 different flavors, displayed well. The staff is patient & very nice. The space is very big for a business in the East Village with mostly a waiting area. 4-5 seats are up front & they set up a few plastic chairs on the side. On a 90°F day, the shop was filled with customers & groups. A stantion at the door with directions for 2 lines would help manage things better.
